Not every HF. Kusari HFs are pretty darn agile.

I was about to say the same. Maybe en par with these HFs, but surely more agile than every other. Because... A mini razor!!

EDIT: But then again. I'd drop the mini razor capability any time of the day for more agility. I think putting a razor in a LF is pushing it some. It's a heavy weapon. A LF has to be darn agile, period.

Kusari HFs? Which one are those? Blood Dragon is a HF only in name.

Taidan turns faster than half of the LFs.. but it's not really more agile than them (in terms of strafing/dodging). Same is true for Crow and Hammerhead.

About coming Decurion stats, my idea:

turning 1.3 (now it has 1.2667)

agility same as scimitar/slipstream

Armor 6.5-7k

4 guns + turret

CD/T slot

9000/900 powerplant - Hammerhead/Crow one

I think AoM meant something like this. I also believe it will be much bigger than most other LFs due to its wings, which might actually mean it should turn a bit faster than I proposed. On the other hand it will be very flat.. so maybe not.

More firepower and armor, but less agility than the Scimitar makes more sense to me.

Quote myself time...

I differentiate between turning speed and "agility". With agility I mean strafing/truster reaction, specially while dodging.

Scimitair and Slipstream have 1.33 turning and quite bad "agility" compared to other LFs. That said Tigershark/Arwing are also not the most "agile" LFs. But they compensate for it with 1.6 in turning. On the other hand Wyrm and Hussar have only 1.33 in turning as well, but both are extremely agile.

If I should make an example from VHFs then Chimaera has 1.17 turning but it's much more "agile" than Odin or Manta both with 1.2. Example from bombers would be Taidan which has some 0.97 turning but much more "agility" than Thor with 1.01 or Falcata with 1.025 turning speed.

You cannot make a LF be even less "agile" than Scimitar as well as have slower turning... because then half server VHFs will be better (maybe not half.. but Sabre, Wrath, BD, Chimaera for sure..)

It's also hard for it to have more firepower than the Slipstream which has 6 Guns, anything with more firepower than that is a HF/VHF and not a LF.

I actually think that the Decurion should be more along the lines of Liberty's Liberator stat-wise, since the Legionnaire is a VERY agile, hard-to-hit light fighter.

This could perhaps add to the roleplay factor for Corsairs. There would be those that preferred light fighters, seen as hotshot, reckless youths (maybe), as opposed to the traditionalist Titan pilots. Or maybe it'd be the other way around. I dunno.

Yeah, let's give them some freaky new, recently designed, joint Corsair/Order development... a short range teleportation device! Handy for all those pesky Outcasts, dodging small rocks, and generally pissing off the general populace.

I do agree with your suggestion, though. Follow the LF line the Corsairs already have. It needn't be the absolute best out there, but it is a bit big.

But Arwing already is agile and hard to hit....

it can be later replaced with some more corsair looking model and keep the stats as an agile LF.

Corsairs do have two LFs now.... I see no problem with that.. Liberty has 3 VHFs so what?

The Arwing shouldn't be here at all. Stop using it as an arguing point.

And who says it should be there? You o'mighty dopa?

It IS there and Igiss has NOT removed it yet, so IT WILL BE USED. It's not like when Raven Claw was sold on Bornholm with an infocard that was completely out of place. It says it's an alien design yes, but it also says it has been seen in Corsair space in last 10 years and it's for sale on Corsair bases.

We all know that ships are not getting removed from the mod just like that, especially ships that are not completely out of place (like a Marsflyer). So you can't just pretend it's not there. And you certainly can't do it the second it is shooting on your ship.
