Salut!

I have some news that may be of interest to the Armed Command and the Senat. While on patrol in the Tau-23 system with one of our contractors, I ran into a quartet of Congress vessels returning from Tau-37. Now normally I would expect every reason to put them down given their sniffer affiliations, but these vessels were empty of that vile weed they so frequently attempt to run past us. Curious as to why they would risk being found in our territory with not even the chance for profit, I asked what their purpose was. The response was quite surprising!

Given that several months ago I submitted an intel report to the IMG|, who paid me quite well for that, I was understandably incredulous! We made sure to collect an escort fee from the vessels in question and followed them into the Tau-39 system, where lo and behold, they were given clearance to dock at Fort Siloso! I recorded them with holds full of ore too!

I am dismayed that our associates in the Independent Miner's Guild would open their doors to the very same people we have proven time again to them run that vile weed for the enemy they claim to hate so much! It is as if they wish to spit upon our efforts to keep the Outcast menace in check! I am not a Royalist, but we must consider things in terms of Narcisse's comment.

Quote:[20.03.2015 05:47:30] Narcisse.Archimbaute: Sometimes I do wonder how much the crown would pay for this information.

I'm sure we can resolve this without coming to this though, oui?

Adieu!

Salut!

I wish to report a disturbing series of events that occurred today while I was on patrol. I'm sure that the Senat will find this information most interesting!

While watching out for our interests in the north of Gallia, I was accosted by a vessel hailing from the Blood Dragons. You may remember me having made a report about our first encounter with these Kusarians some months back. Anyway, the young lady in question question claimed to be their leader now, some position they call show-goon, I think. She stated that she was in Gallia to find and talk with us, to address their unwarranted hostility towards us. I was rather skeptical of the whole thing from the start! The show-goon claimed that the person who gave the attack order was no longer in charge, and that they were not the same Blood Dragons we've run into in the past. I was as cool as could be given that I wanted to show her in kind what I thought of that!

The most startling revelation, however, came as I was looking to escort her out of Gallia. When asked why they had originally attacked us, she said that it was because they were paid to do so by the Junker's Congress! The filthy weed hauling sniffer friends were behind the attacks the whole time! Quite upset over this revelation, I made haste to see to her departure, only for a warship of theirs to appear as well! The whole thing was a setup from the start! I immediately raised a system wide alarm and called for support! I trailed them out until I confirmed the support of Madame Maxim was en route, and then disrupted the warship. I made sure to raise the local Royalist garrison for support as well. Madame Maxim's vessel fell, but we were able to sufficiently delay the Dragons for a Royal Navy cruiser to arrive on station. After a summary investigation the Royals determined that the invaders were to be destroyed. I supported this effort and the warship and the show-goon's vessel were taken out with only moderate damage to the Royalist vessel! Madame Maxim was returned safely, as well.

I've been back on Java Station for some hours now, and still the thought that these Dragons are friends with the filthy trashmen makes me livid! The show-goon also stated publicly that they oppose our friends in Samura Heavy Industries. I think we should work more diligently to assist our Samura and Hogosha friends in putting these Junker lovers in their place!

Sujet:Activity in Taus

Bonjour,

This is Aspirant Villeneuve reporting in to update the Senateurs of the current situation in the Taus:

After taking a short break from moving goods to our bases around Gallia and toward Rheinland, I decided to head set course for Tau-23 system as I had it on good authority from various sources that there has been high volume of smugglers passing through our territory and heading toward Outcast space.

I set out to assess the situation myself. One thing is for sure, this high activity had many groups on alert: IMG, KNF, Royal Navy, Crayterians and even freelancers.

I began my patrol from the Orkney jumphole toward the Tau-37 and then finally the Tau-29 jumphole looking for these smugglers supplying the competition. I had flown past the Kysushu jumphole when I detected a Montante class gunship locking on to my position and firing cruise disruptors and making demands way beyond his abilities. What is even more shocking is the fact that the captain of this ship, bearing the callsign GrapHook, opened fire right away at which point myself and a member of the secondary fleet of the GRN, whom was not too amused by the gunships presence either, began carving out his shield and hull. This GrapHook, attempted to, poorly I may add, use Glaives on multiples occassions but to no avail. I managed to place a well-timed SNAC shot on his badly damaged hull and the GRN pilot finished him off with a few salvos of his cannons.

Perhaps it is time to reinforce our position in this region to show these maniacs who truly controls the Taus.

Later, I decided to scout Tau-31. I ran into a Royal Navy bomber who had just intercepted an Outcast transport and seemed to have his hands quite full with intercepting smugglers. I had a brief chat with him outside of New Tours. He seemed very interested in acquiring information about Nox and how to purchase it for personal use. Of course, I told him we don't know where to acquire it or even touch Nox. I'm back on Montelimar now and will be departing for Provence in a few hours.

Sujet:Tau Patrol Report

Bonjour,

This is Aspirant Villeneuve reporting in with another debrief from my recent patrol of the Lyonnais border into Dauphine, Languedoc, Tau-23 and back.

Upon entering Dauphine from the Lyonnais system, I detected one IDF tagged transport hauling Aluminium ore seemingly heading toward the Languedoc jumpgate. So I decided to follow this vessel and see where its heading exactly.

Reaching the Remoulins debris field, two additional ships were detected on scanners: another IDF transport and a pirate! In Languedoc. I have to say I admire this one's ambitions coming this far into Corse turf. The pirate began extorting the IDF convoy for credits totally oblivious to my presence and the fact that no one is allowed to make such demands in our space. The panicky IDF convoy of course refused the pirate's demands and began performing defensive maneuvers at which point they were more than happy to accept my assistance.

Finally realizing the big mistake, the pirate engaged cruise speed after firing off a few salvos at one of the transports and flew out of range of cruise disruptors. I'll be watching extra careful for this one. I think this one needs to learn a lesson for intruding Corse turf. The pirate was also flying an interesting ship, similar to those of the Hessians I've seen when running trade mission to Rheinland. Oh I almost forgot to add, the IDF convoy leader wired a sum of 2.000.000 credits for scaring off the pirate.

I decided to end my patrol on Java, but upon entering Tau-23 the convoy was again disrupted by another opportunist flying under the Privateer flag. This one was much wiser and backed off. Another 2.000.000 were wired to my account by the IDF captain. I have to say not a bad pay day for just flying a normal patrol route. Maybe next time I'll have to raise the "escort" fee a little bit.

I was also contacted by a mysterious individual offering a partnerships of some sorts in the Taus. At the time I had my hands full with the privateer and the convoy, though I will keep an eye out for this individual and see what it is they are offering.

I flew to Java to resupply and headed back to Dauphine to end my patrol.

Sujet:Languedoc Operation, Yet Another IDF Encounter

Bonsoir,

This is Villeneuve reporting with another status report regarding the situation in Taus and the recent spark in already existing hostilities between the Royalist forces and The Council in the Languedoc system.

First things first, I'm sure the Senateurs are aware of the recent concerted efforts by the anti-royalist forces on Marne to further destabilize the royalist, especially in the Languedoc system on Planet Quillan. The Council forces were spreading large volume of "propaganda" (take that as lightly as you will) destined for the population of Quillan. It seems the Royalists have grown complacent, the usual patrol routes were not exactly well guarded, I might add. I won't get into the specifics, but I managed to smuggle a sizeable amount, close to 30000+ crates planet side without attracting any attention from the authorities; I think I was so cautious during the last few runs that I forgot to activate the guncam. I have to say it was a rather profitable run between Quillan and the core worlds, that may have been one of the reasons why I encountered so many vessels of Sirian origins in the border worlds hauling large amounts of Council's special cargo and even using the most obvious route to Quillan. Amateurs I say. In any case, I hope this should gain us some...leverage in the future.

I had yet another encounter with same IDF convoy I've been running into for the past couple of weeks. Their corporate routes seem to match that of the GRN and thus attracts quite a bit unwanted attention to this group, so much so that I received an escort request back to Picardy on long range comms while on patrol in the Tau-23 system. This is becoming a rather regular occurrence, I think it could lead to a beneficial deal for both parties and a lucrative one for the Corse.

Salut!

I was investigating several large signals radiating from the Burgundy system, which turned out to be Royals on maneuvers, when I ran into a vessel from the Marine Royale Gauloise. Its captain was quite inquisitive, and apparently more than a little suspicious, but nothing negative came of the encounter. Indeed, quite the opposite! I have some information that may be of interest to quite a few of us. Read the transmission logs below!

Comm Logs Wrote:[25.11.2017 22:19:59] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: And now another Royal.

[25.11.2017 22:20:18] MRG|Forbin: We don't see many of you around these days.
[25.11.2017 22:20:26] MRG|Forbin: Though I've seen an increase.

[25.11.2017 22:21:13] MRG|Forbin: Oh, but of course, it would be remiss of me to even suggest otherwise !
[25.11.2017 22:21:14] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Why, we've even done work for the government against the Outcasts!

[25.11.2017 22:22:44] MRG|Forbin: Well, regarding this bounty board.

[25.11.2017 22:23:30] MRG|Forbin: Indeed. As you most certainly know, and don't pretend you don't...
[25.11.2017 22:23:35] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: We of l'Unione Corse will glad to be of service on such a front.
[25.11.2017 22:23:56] MRG|Forbin: The MRG has been undergoing quite a few changes in the past few months.
[25.11.2017 22:24:03] MRG|Forbin: Things have been a bit scrambled here and there.
[25.11.2017 22:24:11] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Is that so?
[25.11.2017 22:24:13] MRG|Forbin: Hence the lack of a formalised bounty office.
[25.11.2017 22:24:24] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Ah, yes, that would explain much.
[25.11.2017 22:24:30] MRG|Forbin: But ! Rest assured. The Marine royale is, as always, efficient and implacable.
[25.11.2017 22:24:54] MRG|Forbin: I have it from reliable word that a call for... good wills is about to be made again.
[25.11.2017 22:25:14] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: We will willingly wait worthy warrants against our common foes!
[25.11.2017 22:25:15] MRG|Forbin: I'd expect the Unione to jump on the occasion.
[25.11.2017 22:25:25] MRG|Forbin: And the accompanying francs, of course.
[25.11.2017 22:25:35] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: But of course!
[25.11.2017 22:25:48] MRG|Forbin: We'll need the help, and the Unione is known for the quality of its pilots...
[25.11.2017 22:26:09] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: *nods knowingly*

This would be a most profitable venture to us were this to be the case as Outcast kills in the Taus are already a reliable revenue stream for us. Another bucket of money to collect from would be most welcome! I will keep my eye out for more information as it presents itself!

Adieu!

Sujet: An Intelligent Conversation

Bonsoir,

While on a trip back from the far Omega's, I encountered an agent of the Bretonian Secret Intelligence Service in Languedoc, of all places. Quite bold of him, oui? Nevertheless, the local Maquis seemed happy to leave him alone, and keep the royalists busy too, so we could chat undisturbed, which was further helped by our little wander around Sete, to through off any Royal patrols. He claimed that they had called us up earlier, around our... skills at acquiring and distributing certain valued items. While he made no mention of the exact items, he said to expect a message soon, along an older channel, so I thought it best to pass on word so that some of us could... refresh our memories as to what exactly was exchanged previously, as I was not involved in the previous contact.

Also of some note, one of our pilots was distressed near the Orleanais jumphole in Ile-de-France, and a kind Professeur Regis picked them and is tending to them till we can arrange to meet them.

Sujet: Meeting the Professeur

Bonsoir,

I have just got back from meeting with Professeur Regis, and our man is back home on Monaco now, getting a medical checkup. I expect he'll be fine after a bit more resting. However, the Professeur did let slip he was looking to work with the Gallic Junkers, but I... enlightened him to their status here, and offered our help instead. Although... after a short chat, I'm not sure we may be able to help much- The Professeur is after the front section of a Valor, and I have no idea how we would help with that. Not knowing what else to do, I suggested they meet with the Council, and see if that can do any help. Till then, the Professeur is staying on the Argenton, nice and close by, should we need to talk more.
