That's very terrible news and it feels awful to read that. Connor was an awesome guy that we all loved in some way.. May you rest in peace Connor! You will be missed!

My heart sank when I read your earlier post, especially knowing where Connor had previously been. This is heartbreaking. Jerry, my condolences to your family, and thank you for letting us know. Connor will be missed.

Such a sad thing to have happened, I haven't had the pleasure to spend a lot of time with him but what I did was fun. May he rest in peace.

Close or not, disliked or not, whenever we lose a community member it hurts. Especially for stupid conflicts. Thank you for letting us know, and I hope you find comfort in knowing that random strangers from an online community considered Connor as a great guy, even those that barely interacted with him. May he rest in peace.

My condolences. I've known Connor since about 2013 or 14 and been his mentor in this place for a while. Never lost a friend before. I've also never known a hero in person before. He gave his life for the noblest cause, saving another. We should be as proud as we are sad. I hope his son gets all the care and love he deserves and grows up to be like his dad.

I can't say that I knew Connor particularly well, but in the time that I got to spend with him, he always came across as a genuinely kind and caring person. He had a good sense of humor, was always willing to help out others, and had a bit of a mischievous streak to him (thanks for spawning an entire fleet of nomad ships on my Defender as I fly around New York). We're all lesser for his loss, and if I could be there for his family right now I would be, as I'm sure all of us would like to be. Sadly the vast majority of us cannot, but we are all there in spirit.

I'm not sure if you are going to be keeping up with this thread at all, but if your family hasn't held a memorial service for him yet, I'm sure we would have more than a few people that want to send our condolences, or possibly even attend if that is something they are able to do, if your family would welcome it that is.

Rest easy, Connor.

My condolences, I remember him among many older admins and staff members. There's been quite a couple from them who passed away, rest in peace fellow Freelancer.

This cursed war claims another brave soul, and it's still allowed to drag and drag on, despite everything.

Rest easy, warrior. You will be remembered, and your memory won't be squandered. My deepest condolences.
