So I never really knew how to make this post but i wanted to say good bye to my childhood community. I'm 26 and I've been part of this community for the past 10 years which is a considerable chunck of my life. It's like... wow that's a long time. Yeah some people have been here longer but shit that's still a long time.
Almost a year Ukraine was invaded by Russia in an unjust war where countless amounts of people have been killed unnecessarily. 8 months ago one of my really good friend and his brother left us and his family all behind and went back home to fight for his country where 4 months ago he paid the ultimate cost and laid his life down saving a fellow soldier. Shortly before his sacrifice me and 3 others started training with a special group with the ultimate goal of going out to Ukraine and fighting along side him.
Well, that time has come. Me and my 3 mates will be leaving for Ukraine this morning. We're not exactly sure how long we'll be deployed for or where we're going inside Ukraine, even if we knew I couldn't say, but with our medical training I'm sure we'll be all over the place including the front lines. 3 of us will be going out essentially as combat medics and my last mate will be deploying as an engineer. We all plan to help out as many people as we can.
So yeah. I really hope this is not my last post, morbid i know, but yo lo (why is yo lo censored LMAO). Thank you for everything this community has offered to me. You've been here for my best and darkest times. I have many lasting memories with all the friends and opportunities i have made.
To all the Ukrainians out there, stay strong. I could be seeing you soon.
I am not as long as you in this community but I know that the people here can be like a Family if you need them. And I also know some friends in Ukraine and I am worried about them. Now another Person in this Community that I Respect a lot goes to war that should have never happened. I understand your Motives and they are so noble that I can only respect you more for this. I hope you can save as many Lifes as possible and I hope that you will be as safe as Possible, even when these are two things that are almost Impossible in a War. I Pray for you and hope this won't be your Last Post. I hope you have a Chance to Read this and I hope that it gives you Strenght in Dark and Sad Moments that there are your friends and some Weirdos from the Discovery community that will Wait for you and keep the Lights on so that you have a Place to Return.
As much I feel sad for knowing that you are going there to the middle of the firestorm...
I am glad that you are doing something that you believe in. Stay safe Snoopy , Connor xD
I have always seen you as one of the greatest players on this server because your attitude was always positive and good.
Stay safe and take care... War is only delightful to those who have never seen it... be safe my friend.

Glory to Ukraine.
Ніхто не має більшої любові, як той, хто душу свою кладе за друзів своїх. Любов ніколи не закінчується.
Greater love has no man than he who lays down his life for his friends. Love never ends.
Been quite some time since I've been around, but heard about this post and wanted to come and wish you all the best. An incredible sacrifice you're making to help those in need, and something to be honored and admired.
Wishing you and all you will be helping the best, and my heart goes out to you all for a safe return.
