Task Force Carentan | Information, Application & Roster - Stolt. - 07-03-2013 TASK FORCE CARENTAN Information & Applications Below PLEASE READ:
Application to Task Force Carentan (TFC) is open to both primary and secondary LSF units. If you would like to apply, reading the Operational Details section is not necesary, but reading the Rules of Engagement section is.Summary Task Force Carentan (TFC) is a limited deployment of LSF units to Tau space. The Task Force is a branch of the Department of Tactical Operations. It's main purpose there is for the collection of data and the establishment of intelligence assets with factions who hold a stake in the Tau region. The Gallic Royal Navy is the main target of LSF operations there. Currently we do not have permission from the Colonial Republic to use their Carrier Hades as a forward operating base but we are lobbying to have this approved by the Republic in exchange for all intelligence we collect. For now, all TFC units are to launch operations from within Liberty space. We have received confirmation that TFC units have been given authorisation to use a hangar of the Colonial Republic's Carrier Hades in the Tau-39. As the system primarily belongs to the IMG, all units are expected not to dock on any IMG bases. Furthermore, make sure you are not being followed by any forces hostile to the CR when docking with the Hades, as the location of the Carrier must remain a secret. Make sure your reputation with the Colonial Military IFF has been set to friendly. Operational Details

RE: Task Force Carentan | Information, Application & Roster - Venture - 07-03-2013 Name: Daniyal Altaf Rank: Lieutenant Commander. Primary or Secondary fleet: Primary Fleet. Please explain the Rules of Engagement in your own words: 1)We aren't allowed to fire our weapons, only in self-defense. 2)We have to respect the laws of the Colonial Republic. 3) We should keep our distance from enemies to avoid any possible conflicts. 4)No docking on IMG bases. RE: Task Force Carentan | Information, Application & Roster - Gooches - 07-03-2013 COMM ID: Agent Robert Wood TARGET ID: Task Force Carentan SUBJECT: Task Force Carentan application ENCRYPTION: Strong PRIORITY: Medium Name: Robert Wood
Rank: Agent Primary or Secondary fleet: Primary Please explain the Rules of Engagement in your own words: 1) Never attack any kind of entity. 2) Except in self defence. Although, it's best to flee from an engagement wherever possible. Exploding ships aren't very low profile. 3) Since Coronado is the sovereign space of another republic, their laws apply there for the remainder of our stay, and we are to follow them to avoid political arguing and headaches. 4) Being spotted and chased around by hostile forces only boycotts the safety of our operations. Secrecy is vital, so avoiding hostiles is a high priority (except when collecting intelligence, obviously). 5) Even though I wouldn't know why, it's pretty straightforward. No docking allowed with IMG owned station. I'm going to guess that IMG Tau stations are frequented by our enemies as well, in which case being on the ground as someone who will want us dead is a bad idea. If I'm wrong and I missed a memo about this, I'd like to be informed of the reason behind this guideline. Signed, Robert Wood. Agent Daniyal Altaf, your application to Task Force Carentan has been approved. Agent Robert Wood, we are not to dock on IMG bases as we do not want the Gallic Royal Navy to discover some rather inconvenient alliances they have. Back to your application, it has been approved. [End Transmission]

Sheppard:: ::Location: California system:: ::Encryption: Liberty Security Force clearance :: Name: John.Sheppard Rank (only for =LSF=): AIT Primary or Secondary fleet (=LSF= or independent): Primary Please explain the Rules of Engagement in your own words (does NOT have to be lengthy): 1. Not much of a covert intelligence gathering ops, if we go around shooting people and causing to much attention to our presence. 2. Not blow our cover at all costs, and not risk getting into any conflicts unless it's an absolute must and all other options have been exhausted before resorting to engagement. We're in their turf, and we won't be doing no good if we cause trouble. 3. There's nothing to talk about here, since agents won't be causing any trouble. But, diplomatic immunity is in place just in case that something goes wrong.. It's good to remember that we're on the same sides in this. 4. Avoid trouble, and there won't be any trouble. It's our job to take a look, but not to get exposed. 5. We wouldn't want people to get ideas.... [To: Task Force Carentan] [From: Agent in Training, Jack Harkness] [Location: CLASSIFIED] [Subject: Information ] Name: Jack Harkness Rank: Agent in Training Fleet: Primary 1. The less noise we make, the less anyone can hear us. Keeping a low profile is esential. 2. Same as before, keep it cool and only shoot in case of emergency. 3. We are not in Libertonian space so our laws don't apply. The immunity is there in case something goes severely wrong. 4. Try to avoid even the possibility of a fire-fight. 5. To avoid any unknown eyes seeing us. -Harkness out. [Terminating Transmission]
