The following transmission is classified. The Liberty Navy [LN], Colonial Republic CR|, Bretonian Armed Forces BAF| and the Council [C] may respond to it.

Gentlemen,

My name is John Major and I work as a Coordinator with the =LSF=. I've just been given the authority to conduct negotiations with the relevent factions in the Tau region.

I'd like to begin with giving you all access to this channel. It is a detailed outline for a limited LSF deployment in the Tau regions, to be known as Task Force Carentan. In short, the LSF will be deploying there to collect intelligence on Gallic lawful forces including Gallic civilian corporations. The LSF will also be conducting intelligence collection on Outcast cardamine smuggling routes, though I must make it clear we don't expect any results to come out of this within the near future.

It should also be noted that Task Force Carentan will be open to be primary and secondary units within the LSF. Nevertheless, there will be a selection process to make sure any LSF units in the Taus understand our Rules of Engagement in the region. They will also be properly vetted and the roster for Task Force Carentan will be available to all the organisations mentioned in this channel.

To the Colonial Republic
The LSF would like to request docking rights for all Task Force Carentan members upon the Colonial Military's Carrier Hades. We need a mobile headquarters from which to launch our operations in the Taus as the situation in a war zone can change very quickly, and we feel that we could lose valuable time and opportunities if we have to launch our forces from distant Liberty. Of course, in return, the LSF is willing to share any information that we get regarding GRN and Outcast operations in the region with the Colonial Intelligence Services.

We'd also like to inform you that we may launch surgical strikes against hostile forces in the Taus. These surgical strikes and other violent operations will be approved by the Director of =LSF= personally and we will notify the Colonial Military beforehand of any military operations we embark upon. We may also launch some joint operations between the LSF and the Colonial Intelligence Service, and some military operations jointly with the Colonial Military. These operations will be directed primarily towards GRN forces in the Taus.

We hope to hear back soon from you, possibly with the access codes and the docking rights to the Carrier Hades in the Tau - 39 system. Thank you for your consideration.

To the Bretonian Armed Forces and the Council
As I have already mentioned, the =LSF= will go ahead with a small deployment in the Taus primarily for intelligence collection. We hope this will further improve cooperation between our respective governments and intelligence agencies (BIS, Council Intelligence).

Finally, with regard to the Gallic invasion of Leeds, Task Force Carentan will act as a a Quick Reaction Force (as dictated in the proposal) to assist with the defense of Leeds. Our forces in the Taus will be able to deploy to Bretonia much faster than our forces inside Liberty.

I am Commander Roger Anders, highest ranking officer in the Colonial Military forces standing in Coronado. After reading over your proposal for Task Force Carentan, it does seem something we can support and involve ourselves in.

I will leave the specifics of receiving your reports and coordinating joint operations with the Intelligence Service, but the Military can handle the logistical difficulties and solutions.
In Coronado, the limited repair facilities on Pecos can be used, although I would ask to avoid Sabah for the moment given how busy the construction and patrol efforts are. We have purchased rights to a couple of secure hangars on Barrier Gate Station which is much better suited to patrols in the Cloud, perhaps you can pursue a similar arrangement.
I will send over the frequencies of the Hades sensor grid and patrol paths within the cloud which will allow you to meet up with its flotilla and dock upon it. The hangar initially set aside for the old Imperial Kusari Navy and left unused also has some small quartering facilities, I'll instruct it to be prepared for your snub wing's arrival. When on board, please keep yourself to that area, given it is our main base and collection of force in the area. Of course, do not alert any forces - Maltese, Gallic Royalist or otherwise - to the presence of the Hades in the Tau-39 system.
As for that report and intelligence sharing, one of our agents in the Rapiers will be able to patch your pilots into the Euryphaessa Spyglass Array, giving both our sides an advanced and secure facility for such.

If there is anything else you wish to request or offer before taking your first steps on this past, we may discuss it here. If not, the Colonials in the area will appreciate the extra support and company.

On behalf of the C.I.S., it is a pleasure and intriguing to meet a fellow operative. As no doubt Commander Anders has informed you, Hades is available for your ships, strictly within the Port side hanger bay. No doubt he has already sent you the docking codes. I must re-iterate, that all information regarding the location and coordinates of the Hades must be kept strictly confidential.

Now, onto other matters. You have been granted access codes to the Euryphaessa Spyglass Array. Codes will be available upon your arrival to Hades, where one of our operatives will deliver them personally. We will not risk sending them over open comm's, no matter how secure your encryption tools may be. Please ensure that the codes remain on your person at all times, and are only shared with those you trust implicitly. I'm sure you understand.
Once you have begun your recon work, and are at a point to relay any intelligence information gathered, please reach out to myself or Director White, at which point we will be prepared to receive and share what information can be disclosed. In the meantime, should you require a Rapier pilot or two to assist in any surveillance or recon work, do not hesitate to inquire, as we are very familiar with the systems you will be operating in.
