After weeks of shakedowns we proceeded on our maiden voyage to the Leeds System. The outfit of the ship, the shakedowns and the subsequent voyage have shown the ship is everything we expected.
Find below a report of our incursion.

Planet Leeds:

The main Docking Ring is guarded by a Valor Class Battleship, Oubli. The area is heavily patrolled. The patrols seem to be either a Valor + 4 Gunboats or 2 Cruisers + 2 Gunboats + Lynxs.

Newcastle Jump Gate:

The JG is destroyed from this side but it is guarded by a Valor, Carcassonne. We didn’t notice any sign of attempted repairs.

This afternoon at approximately 17:00 SMT, BIS agent Judge-Leam was attacked near Kensington Shipping Platform by the GRN sub-sect know as the Punishers. The vessels were positively identified as....

A general call for help was relayed through to BIS command as well as BAF and local law enforcement. At approximately 17:10 SMT, I arrived on scene as well as BPA officer BlackBean.Salad. We found Judge-Leam engaged with the GRN vessels, in addition, we found a pilot by the name of Edwin.Evans who was also engaged with the Punishers (No scans were successfully made of the vessel during the combat, IFF indicated he is either a BPA officer or contractor under their ranks, verification has been requested through proper back channels)

Myself and local law enforcement engaged the enemy force dividing them into two separate groups. At 17:15 SMT, Punisher|Cadet.Thyrsus was crippled by myself and Evans and was driven directly into Planet Dover. At roughly the same time, BPA officer Tator.Salad arrived with BIS officer Judge-Justin. At this point, Punisher|FL.BlackSword was lost and is believed to have evacuated the combat zone.

At 17:20 SMT, Punisher|FO-Dauphine collided into Planet Dover while attempting to run from myself and Tator.Salad. It appeared to be a suicide run in an attempt to run us into the planet.

At approximately 17:22 SMT, Punisher|C.Prometheus, having taken heavy damage, activated a cloaking device and successfully managed to slip our forces into the Manchester system. Scans from the stations in that system tracked him to heading towards the Leeds Jumphole.

Overall, I am quite pleased with the successful defense of the home system and our lack of losses to a surprise enemy attack. That said I am concerned that these GRN vessels managed to get so deep into the New London system without being picked up by the long range scans. I am further concerned that this many of them slipped into the system without the BAF having detected them.

I submit that this only furthers our need to accelerate our plans. As requested, I have sent transmissions to the appropriate parties and have begun putting the pieces in place. I will send word when we are ready to proceed.

As per request from command, the agreement is being kept on highest level encryption. With no information being dispersed outside our agents or the transports coming in. I expect to have the other contracts ready within the next 3 weeks.

Subject: Nomad Power Cells.

Logan,

I have been contacted by the BPA regarding the acquisition of 2 Nomad Power Cells. Yesterday, in Cambridge, it appears that the BPA were in a conflict with a Nomad Cruiser, what appears to be 2 Wilde Fighters and an Outcast Bomber. The BPA lost 1 Gunboat and 1 Fighter against the total destruction of the enemy.

The valiant Officers managed to tractor in, between them, 2 Nomad Power Cells. They then headed back to New London to celebrate when on the TAGSNET they noticed that 2 more Nomads enter the System, one of these being a Battleship. It appears that BPA Officer Tator Salad then proceeded to taunt these Nomads, over all frequencies, that he had some of their items. This rather dim witted Officer obviously, after having the feeling that he was being followed, came to his senses and handed over his acquired item for safe keeping. The other BPA Officer, one Black Bean Salad, also handed over to me the other one.

It seems strange that not long after these Officers acquired these items that Nomads started appearing in New London. It might suggest that they can sense the location of these Cells. With that in mind I have placed both items in containment fields until we can get them to a safe location where we can study them.

It might be worth contacting the LSF, seeing as we have 2 of them, to see if they are interested in studying one of them and sharing any intelligence gained.

I await, with interest, for your response.

Subject: Nomad Power Cells

My compliments and congratulations to the men and women of the gallant BPA, the example provided of their skill and resolve with their brilliant victory shall echo across the Sirius cluster.

The head of Q branch in M7 research labs has requested the Nomad power cells for study. I recommend they be turned over to Q branch for analysis with the understanding that the cells are to maintain full functionality while with Q pending final disposition. There are plans in progress in which a fully functional Nomad power cell might prove of benefit.

Subject: Full Status Update on all current activities

My apologies for the delay in updates. My desk is growing full of various requests and status reports as construction continues. I will do the best I can to make this brief.

Planetary Reports

Base construction continues to move slowly as we are slowly getting the materials necessary for it. The new supplies of robotics have allowed us to start using mechanical workers to dig out the necessary base structure in half the time. However, it is growing harder to keep the Planetform Inc. personnel away from those supplies. It may be necessary to either directly recruit them or have them removed all together in order to maintain secrecy. If the current suppliers hold, construction of the primary structure should be completed in less then 3 weeks.

Diplomatic Reports

USI- USI is continuing to maintain their end of the contract, if a bit slower then was hoped for. We are hoping to have the remaining materials from them within the next few weeks. We have received sufficient quantities of the industrial materials for the primary structure.

Council- Unfortunately, the Council was less forthcoming then we had hoped for. While I still feel they may be valuable for information and with dealing with the internal group of Gallia, they are not willing to gather the supplies we requested from them, nor are they willing to part with Gallic mapping data. As was requested, I have begun going through other channels to get the necessary items. I feel we may still have use for them in phase 4 of the operation but it would appear for now they will not be useful for phase 1 or 2.

IMG- As we expected, the IMG stated they are too busy to even discuss the trade contract we were offering them. Whether or not this is actually the case or they are choosing to get into bed with GRN remains to be seen. I have already set up paid traders to gather the materials for us along with a few of our people to get the supplies off the IMG bases themselves. As to the question of should we leak to GRN that the IMG are selling supplies to groups hostile to GRN, I feel should wait until we are certain that the IMG are planning to support them before we place them in this position.

Unione Corse and Maquis-

Negotiations have begun with the Unione Corse to supply us with what the Council refused. No word yet on the Maquis. I am confident that between these groups, we will have what we are looking for to complete the new system.

Ship Reports

Six days ago, we completed the retro fitting of a second ship capable of hiding from our enemies. Those nomad cells proved invaluable to the construction of our own variant of the cloaking device. While certainly not as good as theirs, it is a match the military model. I believe we are no longer going to have to go through military channels for these devices. The ship has already proven invaluable in gathering Intel without alerting our enemies to our presence. What follows are the current information gathered.

Maiden voyage turned out to be a more interesting event then could have been anticipated. While bringing the ship out to Tau-31, we ran into a couple of Gallic vessels on the other side of the Jump Hole.

We got confirmation that (Arc-En-Ciel) is a GRN pilot. (Michael.Thorn) is currently unknown and (Olivier_Latry) is a BAF secondary however, we were unable to get close enough for detailed scans. While we only recorded the last piece of the conversation, it confirms that the Gallic's are at least aware of the Jump holes between New London, Dublin and Leeds. I believe it may be necessary to have the BAF construct something to help keep these Gauls off our backs, if they are not able, we may wish to consider something of our own.

This was a very good day.

First a small note, a Freelancer (Wayne.Smith) was detected over Planet Harris upon beginning the patrol. He was pleasant enough but the fact that he was at the planet at all has me slightly concerned, I am requesting this ship be put on a watch list.

We set out into Tau-23 and discovered two GMS mining vessels (CoMi|TheNegotiaror and CoMi|Mineur). While conducting scans for a local threat assessment, Mineur docked at the local base, but TheNegotiaror went off in a different direction. We pursued the vessel up to a Gallic Jumpgate and thanks to the fool not knowing how to encrypt his codes, we were able to clone and follow him into the system (Turns out the gate leads directly to Languedoc)

Have to say, the trade lanes around this system are much nicer then the models we use in Bretonia, I think it would be of interest to see if we can copy the design at some point in the future. Following the lane, I located a large military installation named Nimes Station sitting on a fork in the lanes.

Taking the left path lead me to a Planet Quillan where I located a Zoner Whale (CW|Axios) with a large supply of Reinforced Alloy. The vessel was stationary and as time was limited, I chose to let the ship be and continue the scouting.

The right path lead me to another lane and a wrecked station called Remoulins. The station damage all appears to be the result of heavy weapons fire. I believe contacting the Council again for information may be prudent. From here I continued until the lane lead me to another Jumpgate (Transponder codes indicate it leads to Dauphine). I was not able to hack into the codes to open it at this time. The Gate is guarded by the Valor Montmorency.

On my return trip I gained a visual on another station well off the lanes. Further inspection revealed it to be another military station called Montpelier. The station is surrounded by wrecks, likely connected with Remoulins. Further investigation showed a massive mine field behind the station and more importantly, a Jump Hole Reading shows it leads to the Orkney System).

As I circled back, I caught a glimpse of an unknown ship near the Tau-23 gate and chose to circle back towards Planet Quillan. During the circle, scanners found an anomalous reading. This lead us to another reading that is now confirmed to be an Asteroid base called Limoux. The base transponder codes match what is on file for the group called The Maquis. I made no attempt to contact them and pressed on.

Circling back to Quillan, I found a second Zoner vessel now there (CW|Concurrance). Along with my Unknown (The.Yellow). This Zoner had an identical ship and cargo. The.Yellow quickly bugged out and the Zoners began moving. As they were on my course back to the gate, I chose to follow them. They proceeded through Tau-23, then Tau-31.

While following I caught passive scans of a two other ships, both freelancer, both in Bretonian made vessels, both carrying Gold from Bretonia, and both carrying that gold into Gallia. ([ESC]~Lte.Kira and WEGA_EXPLORER). These vessels should be passed on to the BPA as smugglers and dealt with when possible.

Back to the CW ships, I followed them into Leeds and caught a long range scan of a unknown (Wulfstan). As I continued to follow them, I was discovered they were in route to the New London Jump Hole. I made a call to a local BPA (Chef.Salad.......seriously are all BPA part of this family now?) to intercept and hold the vessels when they entered. he was successful. Monitoring the transmissions, I found the CW ships attempted to lie their way past the officer. Lied about where the cargo came from, where their ships had been and about violating the embargo.

Instead of turning them over to the BPA, I asked the officer to leave and invited the CW into a private channel. After....explaining the situation to them and the spot they were in, a deal was struck. They have 48 hours (Approximately 39.5 hours at the time of this transmission) to send us every bit of map data they have on their excursions to Gallic controlled space. In exchange, we will "loose" the evidence against them. I have faith that they will provide us with what we want. I have further faith that these CW chaps can be used for moving our own cargo through hostile space should we need them.

Per Senior Yohances' internal missive to all Judges, I made a copper run yesterday to supply our special project. I ran across a Hessian in Cambridge attempting to CD my trade vessel after it had already started the Gate cycle to Omega-3. A very curious thing.
