Broadcasting from New London through well-hidden relay stations in Leeds and the Taus, the new BBC service, has been established with the purpose of providing the people under the unlawful rule of Gallia with a fair and balanced news source. |HOME NEWS| New London ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Are the Nomads massing for an attack against Bretonia? That was on everyone’s thoughts yesterday as rumors of a massive alien invasion fleet circulated the civilian neural neat. Hall saw the retrieval of refugees and members of the scientific community from the planet. Armed forces personnel smashed through a weak point in the Gallic defensive lines to conduct this rescue operation. Once in orbit around Leeds the task force had to push back wave after wave of hostiles in order to provide cover for the rescue ships. Thanks to the gallant efforts of BAF vital information and personnel was brought back to the safety of New London. |INTERNATIONAL NEWS| New Tokyo Elections are being held in the Republic of Kusari for the choice of representatives in its Parliament. Casting votes will continue until the tenth of February 821 A.S. Voters are expected to give a majority win to the Democratic party of Kusari, which has been on the forefront of anti-monarchist changes in the past few years. Their most significant challenger for the seats in Parliament is the Kusari Reformation party, which seeks to return the House back to Imperial rule. So far the polls show the Democratic Party edging ahead in the vote, but this may change before the last ballots are cast. The trade dispute between Liberty and Kusari began back on the 22th of January when the Republic of Kusari declared an embargo on exports of H-fuel into Liberty space. Some analysts have stated that this move by Kishiro is simply part of a pre-orchestrated Kusari plan to raise the credibility of its newly democratic government on the world stage.
