Have you noticed this? - jammi - 09-25-2008 Have you noticed, if you have an NPC selected as it goes through a JG/JH or is destroyed, it will flash the name of another player in the system? I've been increasingly noticing this, and I'm wondering, is this some kind of weird FL bug, or am I going insane? Keep an eye out, and check an NPC next time it jumps. It's a conspiracy... Have you noticed this? - Jinx - 09-25-2008 just a minor bug Have you noticed this? - jshkornmiller - 09-25-2008 I have noticed this alot, but the p[layer does not need be in system. or just going through the game. i have noticed alot while i have been doing missions and destroying them, i remember one day, as i was getting rep for a naval character. i was taking missions and everytime they died, the names of a player would flash, the same name for like 6 times in a row. however, i do not know how or why it does that. Have you noticed this? - me_b_kevin - 09-25-2008 i see this everytime i'm in game. As i am killing NPC's the name of the last PC i clicked on will be displayed in the place of the NPC's name just before the NPC explodes Have you noticed this? - Othman - 09-25-2008 It happens. Should be a bug. Got used to it in time ^.^ Next please ... Have you noticed this? - jammi - 09-25-2008 Whew, I'm not insane. Much. And it isn't my machine - which is something new. Have you noticed this? - Salvager - 09-25-2008 I've been noticing this a lot too. I thought it was bizarre, but otherwise ignored it. Have you noticed this? - Klaw117 - 09-25-2008 I've noticed it happening more recently. Apparently, the ship flashes the name of the last player ship in either visual or scanner range. Have you noticed this? - jammi - 09-28-2008 Just to bring this back up, is there any way we can twist this bug into something useful? If we find out why it happens, we could do something with it. Maybe its a Windows update....:P And to do anything with it, you will probably need the source code. So yea, we arn't allowed to improve on Microsofts products. |
