Have you noticed, if you have an NPC selected as it goes through a JG/JH or is destroyed, it will flash the name of another player in the system?
I've been increasingly noticing this, and I'm wondering, is this some kind of weird FL bug, or am I going insane? Keep an eye out, and check an NPC next time it jumps.
I have noticed this alot, but the p[layer does not need be in system. or just going through the game. i have noticed alot while i have been doing missions and destroying them, i remember one day, as i was getting rep for a naval character. i was taking missions and everytime they died, the names of a player would flash, the same name for like 6 times in a row. however, i do not know how or why it does that.
i see this everytime i'm in game. As i am killing NPC's the name of the last PC i clicked on will be displayed in the place of the NPC's name just before the NPC explodes
I've noticed it happening more recently. Apparently, the ship flashes the name of the last player ship in either visual or scanner range.

Just to bring this back up, is there any way we can twist this bug into something useful? If we find out why it happens, we could do something with it.

Not much you could do with a glitch haha.
Maybe its a Windows update....:P
And to do anything with it, you will probably need the source code. So yea, we arn't allowed to improve on Microsofts products.
