As Tinker & Transport is more that a mere trading cooperation we try to stay true to our code of conduct.
Meaning that we care for our members and their families , that we support humanitarian efforts, and that we start projects aiming at bettering life for all around us.
Several of these projects have been started up to now , and these files have the purpose to manage these projects.

Galena Park is a home site project for Tinkers.
As space on a modular station is scarce they are investing heavily on purchasing land on Houston, using terraforming techniques in a small scale to build their fional dream :
A nice home for themselves and their families.
Of course as usual they plan big, and plan to make money on the way there :
Galena Park is not only a housing site for Tinkers members , it is a rehabilitation facility,
hospital and medical training center. Planned as a small city of up to 3000 - 5000 Tinker crewmen and their families the whole site is planned to be able to service about 30.000 - 50.000 guests. Tourists, rehab patients, relocation volunteers in training and all the civiliand working here. A city of about 50.000 inhabitants or more, built as a public relations message and home office for the expanding Tinker & Transport cooperation and holding.
We do not only want to dream about a better future, we grab some tools and get down to work.

Due to a trade deal with both [TAZ] Administration and OSC|Orbital Spa & Cruise ,
Tinker & Transport are expanding their operations to Baffin, renting about 2/3rds of Brunswyck Shrine and promising to Administer the non-sacral domains of the Shrine in exchange for supplying the base.
T&T/ plans to open up a passenger hup, pilgrim hostel and rehabilitation facility in cooperation with OSC| here, while also using the storage space available as a depot for their prime trade in Premium Scrap.
Plans to hire local miners to harvest the microorganisms from the Clouds have also been expressed.

In AS 822 , not long after the completion of the Haven Memorial Clinic, the Chief Resident Doc Nagger and the T&T Prime Secretary Phileas Tukker realised that they would be facing a crisis regularily : an orbital habitation module only has so much space, and if the Tinkers scrapping and commerce buisness was to continue to ensure the flow of cash needed to fund the clinic and the SRO´s humanitarian Projects then no more space could be found at the Haven.
But a couple of thousand traumatizised refugees would be incoming on the Haven regularily, and they needed a calm and secure surrounding to shrug off the events they where fleeing from. Even if first aid and medical care could be done at the Haven they would have to plan for something different in long term use ....
and the Project Galena Park Resort was born.

The Galena Park region is currently an unsettled but well surveyed area on Houston,
about 37 miles outside one of the main space port cities. Plans to build a resort site, training and rehab facility and invest heavily into local infrastructure have been greeted very enthusiastically by local Investors, with several of these middle class Liberonians joining the Tinker & Transport Board of Trustees and backing the Project.

In late AS 821 the first of many trade flights to Baffin and the Brunswyck shrine started using the [TAZ] base as a docking point , safe port and storage place for premium scrap, and due to some delivery aid got increasingly friendly with the bases owners.
Then in early AS 822 there was a change of administration at the Shrine, and Tinkers skippers noticed that the well cept base was not getting supplies regularily anymore and started helping out. One thing led to another, and that started Tinkers planning to expand the Sirius Relief Org.[SRO] over to Baffin.
Negotiations with [TAZ] went well, and so now Tinker&Transport will rent out about 2/3rds of the Shrines space and open up a modular storage space and passenger service point much like the concept at Tinkers Haven. Cooperation with both TAZ and other groups like OSC| Orbital Spa & Cruise is planned.

Phase 1 ) Reworking the existing Infrastructure :
As the Brunswyck modular station is already outfitted with a big bowling arena and the Holy Shrine itself there is not much to build. But at the same time there is about 253.000 units of cargo space unused and alotted as cargo storage at the station, ready to be fitted with Tinker expertise.
Stage 1: outfitting 2 modular habitation modules for passenger / hospital facility purpose

These supplies for heavy duty building are to be delivered directly to the Shrine.

- Xenobiotic filters 7500
- Nanotubes 3750
- Optical chips : 3250
- Plastics : 12.000
- Polymeres : 7500
- Robotics : 7500
- Shape memory Alloy : 3250
For this total of 55.000 units of cargo and the 100.000 units of building materials T&T/ will set a bonus contract for members and affiliated traders :
Contractors will get a 20.000.000 one time pay for expenses and then will be awarded with a bonus of 1000 c per unit hauled . Trade fleet contract will be issued soon.
Stage 2: staffing and supplying the future facilities :
A) The Pilgrim hospel / Pilgrim and passenger resort and hotel :
We have found a capable and trusted Administrator,
and have been able to secure support from TAZ in the deal :
Pope Flinx , formerly from the Zoners space station "Star Space Port" in the Omegas, has returned to Baffin and has agreed to be the Keeper of the Shrine in Baffin, while at the same time taking care of administration at our Service Station.
We look forward to working on expanding our services here.
B) The Rehab facility and Ambulance dock:
We will need more supplies here.
A future <<< trade fleet contract >>> is being prepared.
Also we will once again contact [MFE] for assistance,
perhaps we will get some suggestions on what is needed.

C) The Cargo and ship hangar :
As we wish to modernize the hangar to optimize cargo space and efficiency we will seek for expert engineering aid here, as our own Chief engineer is currently unavailable.

We have no wish to interrupt or stop the work here and will work together with the Baffin Zoners to expand and coordinate work on gathering Xeno lifeforms from the cloud for tourist attraction as aquariom lifeforms trade for scientific and terraforming purposes.

Project : A mobile hospital ship

Tinkers are thinking about outfitting a big ship, possibly a Bretonian Royal Liner if we manage to purchase one, as a mobile Hospital.
