Outside from the safety of the House colonies lies the Sirian final frontier: The Edgeworlds. The Edgeworlds are a mysterious place filled with unknown treasures, priceless rarities and breath taking sights unlike any other in Sirius. Zoners often set up their own colonies and Freeports within the Edgeworlds, choosing to opt for a peaceful existence away from the Houses. However, such beauty hides evils unbeknownst to the common explorer...

Deadly, terrifying alien creatures and their minions capable of manifesting and disappearing at will, aggressively striking down prey without a second thought. Menacing mechanical constructs roam the Edgeworlds with unknown agendas. Feral Corsairs and Outcasts continue to pirate and kill not only each other, but innocents within the Edgeworlds as well. And finally The Order, a malicious terrorist organization, seem intent on completing their goals, irrespective of whatever human or civil cost must be paid.

However, within the darkness exists a light. The Core, rising from the ashes yet again, strives to preserve, protect and install law and order within the harshness of the Edgeworlds. The Core mercilessly cracks down on all hostile elements within the Edgeworlds, slaying them as part of their conquest. As well as this, they try to obtain as many alien materials and technologies as they can so that APM and Core scientists can create more powerful and potent weaponry and ships for The Core to use. Ultimately, the dream is for The Core to create an Empire within the east of Sirius.

In the Edgeworlds and Borderworlds, people have safety knowing that the eyes of The Core do not blink, is always vigilant and is merciless in pursuit of their goals.

Goals:
>Development of powerful new technologies to improve the life of all Sirians
>Extermination of all hostile threats in the Edge Worlds
>Creation of a peaceful Empire for all to live in

The Corsairs, also referred to as the Corsair Empire (Imperio del Corsario), are an unlawful faction operating from the remote edge worlds of Sirius. They are believed to be the largest criminal organization currently in operation in Sirius -- frequently attacking civilian, commercial, and even military targets. The Corsairs are ruled over by an oligarchy of the most ruthless, powerful, wealthy or influential, who reach their position of power primarily by carving a bloody path of destruction through their plentiful enemies.

Corsair influenced territories span across most of the Omicron and Omega Edge Worlds, leading them as far as Bretonia and Kusari. Most of their bases are directly connected to their core worlds. The Corsairs are currently involved in a long standing, large scale war with the Outcasts over the domination of the Omicron Edge Worlds.


Their reign of terror can only be countered via a complete extermination of their race. These rats must be purged, for the sake of a better tomorrow for humanity.

Quote:The Order


The Order is a vile terrorist organization dedicated to defeating the Nomad menace, however since their initial creation they have greatly deviated from that goal. The organization is not hesitant to attack law enforcement and civilian targets if they have a 'suspicion' of said target being infected. Their foolish paranoia and grudges ultimately cost them dearly, when the Zoners cut off all support to them. Their barely supplied organization is now reduced to launching feverish but generally redundant raids against their enemies.

Do not make a mistake however, such wild and chaotic groups like The Order can still pose a significant threat if you are not careful. They have eyes and ears everywhere and will stop at nothing to fight the nomads: even if it means reducing humanity to ruin along the way.

Fortunately The Core, a true counter to the Nomad threat, has stepped in to do the job properly. The Order did not like someone doing their job, and thus declared The Core hostile. On top of The Order being declared a terrorist organization by all the houses, The Core has deemed it that they are no longer of use to humanity and must be purged. The greatest strike against The Order by The Core was when Planet Toledo - a festering pit of terrorist activity - was reduced to ruin.

Goals:
>To fight the Nomad threat by any means necessary, even if this means hurting innocent life.
>Preventing humanity from advancing to greater heights.
>Hoarding technology for themselves, to use against the houses.
