just a quick question - Black Jack - 12-31-2015 I guy asked to ask you about 1 thing. He's playing with somekind of cisco that have it's own VPN that changes IP adress. He needs it for work and that IP is banned now. He made direct connection to internet with his IP and he could log in, so Cisco really changed his IP. His question to admins is: Can he use Cisco connection without geting banned by IP? RE: just a quick question - Hannibal - 12-31-2015 is his ip banned by our servers or at his work place they banned our server? you'll have to give more details for admins, such as the characters names but not his ip(admins can find that themself) RE: just a quick question - Black Jack - 12-31-2015 (12-31-2015, 10:53 AM)Hannibal Wrote: is his ip banned by our servers or at his work place they banned our server? That guy left serber already. And just asked me to ask this. He was banned by IP by server admins. He say that from his side noone banned him from server IP. Anyway this is just a question. RE: just a quick question - jammi - 12-31-2015 If he's been banned from the server, anything that changes his IP to allow him to play again is considered ban evasion. For everyone else, software that uses a dynamic IP is fine - some ISPs provide dynamic IP ranges by default after all. RE: just a quick question - Hannibal - 12-31-2015 to receive a a ban he must of done something wrong..then again..more details required.. RE: just a quick question - Black Jack - 12-31-2015 He sayed that Cisco gives him 1 IP for direct access to 1 place. But not many kind of IP. Edit: he thinks so. I also have cisco on work. But i'm not banned. Maybe he have different one. Looked at banned thread, none of his names. RE: just a quick question - NoMe - 01-01-2016 seems the disco server dont like the vpn users, but not sure! |
