RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Missions and standing orders - Kelly O'Brien - 03-06-2016

Incident Report
Your callsign: Kelly.O'Brien
Shiptype: Avenger
Short report: On the fourth of March I went out to gather with primary and secondary fleet forces in California. The reports about a gathering Hellfire force were proven as wrong but we encountered the XT drones again. XT-8 to be precise. It was as cryptic as before but gave us a name this time. "Baccos Vessel" was supposedly the person who sent him to scout Liberty. Since the vessel didn't surrender we attempted to destroy it. It was able to dock at all nearby facilities and managed to drag out it's destruction which I only managed to do in Ontario.

This is Rear Admiral Knight speaking.

Last month was an exemplary good month. I am quite satisfied with the results of this battlegroup. Succesful operation reports every week without any ships lost. We received a new Battlecruiser, the LNS Chicago and were able to strengthen the alliances position when we successfully fought back the Gauls in Leeds.

But not only on that front but with the voluntary picked missions you did a good job. Reading the reports I am especially impressed by Ensign Thistle's and Lieutenant Junior Grade Moose' behaviour.

With this message, Ensign Thistle will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.

I also authorized the payout of the rewards for exceptional performance and voluntary duty.

These patrols are a very important part of Liberty's security. Keep it up pilots.

Incident Report
Your callsign: Kelly.O'Brien
Shiptype: Avenger
Short report: I went on a patrol to the Ontario system when I encountered a Samura transport with various construction materials on it's way to Alberta. I escorted it and once we arrived it took a weird course that soon would reveal a Zoner installation of notable size. It was at least a type 2 installation and I couldn't find it in any registration list. But the owner of the installation was soon contacting me and told me it might have been that some paperwork slipped by since he was very busy with the installation. He seemed honest enough. they granted us docking access but I returned to the Harmony to check my navmap and write this report.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Missions and standing orders - Kelly O'Brien - 03-28-2016

Incident Report
Your callsign: [LN]-Kelly.O'Brien
Shiptype: Avenger
Short report: I was flying under command of Primary Fleet Admiral Fieldson to accompany the LNS Jacobi on a diplomatic mission to New Berlin where they would meet for the peace negotiations. I have to say it was exciting that I was picked for this. It was supposed to be an easy mission. Meet the Rheinlanders in Hudson and then continue to New Berlin with them joining the convoy. Nothing would dare attack such a force. Well that is what everyone thought.

Right after we met the Rheinlanders at Cold Bay, Nomads and their human supporters turned up. They attacked our convoy, trying to pick of the Jacobi. Did they know how important that ships was?
I was doing my best defending it but later was dragged away by a single nomad. It was quite powerful, the guns were stronger than mine, the ship more agile and with those colorful bands and the pulsating lights it was nigh unhittable. I had to eject and was taken in by the Jacobi. After checking my combat readiness I was given a new ship to continue escort duty.

The rest of the trip to New Berlin was rather uneventful. After regrouping we continued using the Trade Lanes. It was quite impressive to fly through Rheinland without the fear of getting shot. Although it is also a weird feeling to fly with our old enemies. Upon arrival at New Berlin the ships formed a defensive perimeter while I was staying close to the Jacobi. A good decision in the hindsight since we were attacked by a peace protester. He flew a bomber but I was able to take it out before it did any big damage. Certainly not a good sign for the upcoming peace.

I was docking with the Jacobi and returned to Liberty the next day.

End of report.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Missions and standing orders - Kelly O'Brien - 03-28-2016

Incident Report
Your callsign: Kelly.O'Brien
Shiptype: Avenger
Short report: My shift started with me being assigned to aid a Bounty Hunter, namely Vittoria.Velez, in fighting some low priority targets in Liberty's core systems. All in all rather uneventful though I do have to say I enjoyed flying with this Hunter. Maybe we can find some that are more respectful towards what we do when we work together with the new ones more? She was fighting well so when a distress call from Admiral Jack O'Neill of the 5th fleet came in I decided to take her with me.

We arrived too late to save the Admiral. Surprising that he was alone and in a fighter himself even though he is in such an important position. I believe the Rogues that were present at the location he had named us knew that too and took him out. Another Bounty Hunter joined us, the gunboat Avarice. We assisted it in stopping the illegal transport Rogue.Wolf which it then continued to pursue while we fought the Rogues together. After we took one out a Xeno opened fire on me. An odd move I got to say, maybe they are starting to work together now? When I nearly had it taken out it stopped and detonated its own mines and such destroying the ship. Also alarming. If the Xenos risk their lives by blowing themselves up deliberately, I ask myself what else they are going to do.

One Rogue managed to run but that saved Miss Velez probably and we went to have our ships checked and repaired. After clearing some more low priority targets I returned to the Harmony.

End of report.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Missions and standing orders - Victoria Knight - 04-06-2016

This is Rear Admiral Knight speaking.

Pilots; on Friday the first of April, one of our finest, Lieutenant Lexy Hawkins, died in combat against the Gallic Royal Navy in Leeds. Lieutenant Hawkins was an excellent pilot and instructor. She excelled in space combat and was defending Liberty to her best since the Rheinland war for which she was awarded the Rheinland Campaign award. It becomes a tragedy that she had just celebrated her 23rd birthday a mere two weeks ago. Having fought with honor and saving many lives that day in Leeds. The pilots report who was the closest said that her ship had been vaporized by a nova torpedoes explosion. It was over quick.
We should not let this stand. For the honor of our fallen we must continue. Against Gallia and whom else might oppose us. The tactics applied that day were less than controlled but the Lieutenant didn't care. She put her comrades first and held off the enemy to open opportunities for our battered wings to escape.

We will never forget her.

Knight out.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Missions and standing orders - Emperor Tekagi - 04-27-2016

Incident Report
Your callsign: Dave Moose
Shiptype: Guardian
Short report: Regular patrol in the New York system. Stumbled upon a Xeno, callsign " J.Meechan ". As every Xeno he made the LPI bad like hell and even captured 2 LPI officers. Ignoring my demands to hand me over the escape pods so I could take them back home and him trying to run off, I saw myself forced to end it quickly. Resulting in the successful destruction of the Spatial-class.
I just landed on Manhattan, the nearest LPI office can take care their pilots then.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Missions and standing orders - Skorak - 07-30-2016

Announcement
ID: Captain Alexander Vance - LNS Chicago
Shiptype: Interdictor class Battlecruiser
Short report: This is Captain Vance speaking from Kodiak. As of this moment we are certain that Rear Admiral Knight is not going to return soon to take over command of the Battlegroup. She had left orders with the command for such a case and thus Lieutenant Young is promoted to Captain and will assume command over the Battlegroup. The Chicago is in the area around Kodiak and will be our temporary command center until we can resume normal operations.
We also managed to gather some of our pilots. Lieutenant Junior Grade Moose returned and is hereby promoted to Lieutenant. And Lieutenant Junior Grade Whitaker returned from her patrol unharmed.

We are working together with the LSF to survive this and return Liberty to order. We cannot let these traitors win.

Vance over and out.

Pilots,

it has been a tough one to leave Alaska but thanks to the Lane Hackers and the distratctions they and the LSF provided we could leave into the New Hampshire system. Some of our ships suffered heavy damage and we had to suffer the tragic loss of 13 pilots. The list will be requestable right away. Memorial services will be held on Sunday on board of the Harmony.

While the Bethlehem nebula is covering our fleet well, I don't expect us to be able to hold out here forever. We still have supplies for roughly 3 months. This is way longer than we had initially expected and it should be enough to get in contact with people on our side. There's still enough forces opposing Liberty and foremost the nomads. All we need to do is get in contact with those.

Together with the rest of the command we are working out ways to contact them without having the Navy on our tails right away.

I want you to know that I am grateful for your loyalty and support and I know how hard it must be on you. But we cannot give up our homes to these aliens and the people within the Navy unwilling to see what is going on right in front of their faces.

Once we got in contact with someone I will report back to you right away.

Rear Admiral Knight out.

We've finally managed to break through the blockade and gain back our freedom of movement. With the distraction made by the Lane Hackers, Battlegroup Harmony set out a full escape operation out of Alaska.

The operation costed many lives and ships, a lot of my wingmates fell out of control and had their ship fly into mines, or were pursued further away from the group with their fate unknown... I don't even know the size of the battlegroup at this point anymore.

Under Rear Admiral Victoria's orders, we managed to set up an emergency beacon in the New Hampshire system and arrange a meeting with supporters that may still know of us. Surprisingly, when the time came, we've been met with a squadron of fighters and bombers, a Hacker and the Gaians. The Admiral was busy discussing with them when an enormous Nomad appeared in the distance, threatening her. Just as we were about to draw a distraction and escape, it disappeared back to where it came from. It was decided that it was unsafe for the group to remain there any longer and moved into the Bethlehem Nebula.

I was set out to patrol the surrounding area and monitor if anyone else had arrived to check out the location. To my surprise, the LNS-Normandie was on the spot. The commander was dismissive and threatening, but after explaining the situation, the exile princess named Alice stepped forward and seemed to have faith in our warning and plead for assistance. I've led the LNS-Normandie to the rest of the group where a discussion took place. I believe Captain Emilia Young had met with some Unioners seperately in the system.

All was well until the group was discovered by a Hellfire Legion scout, and soon after, a large military group consisting of a battlecruiser and an entire platoon of of snubs with both Battlegroup Auxesia and Hellfire Legion markings appeared. As the order to escape was given, they didn't hesitate and engaged our group without an apparent reason. It's likely that they've been compromised as well...

We escaped and only the LNS-Maine Defiant-class gunboat has been damaged. Unfortunately, that's a very costly result for us as it is. We decided to organize another meeting with the people involved at a later date, on Victoria's suggestion.

I hope we get to see home soon, this is a desperate place to be in...
