BHG Ships and Equiptment - Walker - 02-07-2009
If I was to be a Mercenary, which would deal both lawful and sometimes Unlawful contracts... nothing to big on either side - Would I be able to use possibly a Bounty Hunter's Guild Ship or their Weaponry? Or would the 'independent merc' thing prevent me from buying any of their surplus equipment?

If you're doing unlawful activities, it's probably not the best idea to use a BHG ship nor their equipment.
Remember, mercenaries typically are competition to the Bounty Hunters Guild, so why would they help them out by selling them ships?

You know, fellow hoodlum shot down the idea of having unlawfull equip/lawfull on lawfull/unlawfull ship.
Hey, perhaps the person is a collector, who collects weapons from his killed people.
But I dont know, BHG couldnt attack you without a bounty:)

"Surplus ships" and "being a collector" sounds like pretty poor excuses to get ships and equipment.
If you are a neutral/both-sides mercenary, get a neutral/lawful and unlawful ship. The Eagle, for one.

My Xeno is a collector, but I couldn't keep my Liberty Dread.
Treat BH stuff like you'd treat Bretonian stuff, it's made for the Bretonians, just as BH kit is made for Hunters.
Civilian stuff is for everyone. That's the ticket right there.
