No doubt you are aware of the major logistical issues caused by recent production margins and contracts resulting from the current state of war. I am contacting you today in order to make a deal – as you know, both Soltau and Undine have remained docked at Alster awaiting transfer for repairs at the Oderwerft. Given the current demand, in order to streamline our production I would like to arrange for Daumann to rent the Wharf facility module where they are docked.
I realize some retooling of current equipment will be needed, which we are pleased to pay for. Equally, while we can provide all the necessary skilled operators and technical specialists, we would also like to include in this deal the workforce required to run those wharfs.
I hope we can come a mutually beneficial arrangement. I await your answer, Niklas.

I do apologize for the late reply. I have considered your offer about renting the wharfs that Soltau and Undine is on, and I am glad to say that we will gladly accept. It has been many years since Alster has had capital vessels at its facility.
I would like to make a counter offer to ensure our two companies remain close. You are welcome to make adjustments as you need, in order to make sure the work is done properly. My counter offer is that any changes made, remain intact once you are done. As well as can we make one wharf capable of building capital vessels. If we can agree on this, I can offer you a 50% discount on the rent of the two wharfs.
As you know during the 80 year war, Alster saw many Rheinwehr vessels being repaired, and as it was before my time, I can only assume it was small craft, as well as capital vessels. I would very much like to have the facilities to build them. Im sure after the war with Kusari, the Rheinwehr will be looking to rebuild its fleet, and if we can have the facilities, it will increase production.

(Hereinafter referred to as the "FACILITATOR/OWNER")

(Hereinafter referred to as the "CONTRACTOR")
RENTAL OF SOLDAU & UNDINE WHARFS
The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to rent two wharfs where the two vessels are docked at Alster Shipyard, hereby given the names SOLTAU WHARF & UNDINE WHARF. Additionally they require to modify these two wharfs in order to repair said vessels. Once both vessels are completed, the CONTRACTOR will leave equipment and modify one of the wharfs to be able to construct Capital Warships.
PRICE AND PAYMENT METHOD
CONTRACTOR and FACILITATOR have agreed on a prearranged amount for the rental of the two wharfs. In addition, due to terms of this contract the CONTRACTOR will receive a 50% discount.

LIABILITY
The CONTRACTOR being from RHEINLAND understands and acknowledges the current political climate, and criminal operation within Hamburg. The FACILITATOR will take measures to the best of its ability to ensure the CONTRACTORS personnel safety while aboard Alster Shipyard. When both said vessels leave their respective Wharfs, it will signal the end of the contract, and all promises made will be fulfilled and completed.
DELIVERY and TRANSFER of OWNERSHIP
The FACILITATOR, and CONTRACTOR does not own said vessels at Alster Shipyard. They remain the responsibility of a third party. However, said vessels may not leave Alster Shipyard until all has been dealt with, within this contract. FACILITATOR will be informed when contract has come to an end, which thereafter the CONTRACTOR will be given permission to contact third parties to remove vessels. Removal of vessels beforehand will null & void this contract, and full payment will be made to the total amount of days the vessels were stored at Alster Shiyard, with additional costs to potential business lost, which will be made payable by third parties. Once payment has been made, vessels will then be allowed to leave. Forciable removal will result in Shipyard defences to come online and render the vessels inoperable or destroyed completely. Additional cost will be implemented as well.
Third Parties designated CONTRACTOR as their preferred choice to work on said vessels, but does not excluded them from liability as mentioned above, as CONTRCTOR will be designated as their representative.
Daumann Heavy Construction staff on Alster Shipyard
All DHC staff aboard Alster Shipyard will keep security passes on said person and be provided with security detail. The wellbeing of DHC employees will be the responsibility of Republican Shipping, with the exclusion of negligent behaviour. All DHC staff aboard Alster Shipyard will be given meals alongside Republican Staff with suitable accommodation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
As of the current date, there is 500 Rheinwehr Special Forces on the Undine and 250 Kommando Falke Special Forces on the Soltau. This will remain until contract is complete.
DURATION OF CONTRACT
Duration of contract will start when contract is signed by both parties up to 12 months. If contract is not completed, the contract will be extended for a further 3 months until contract is completed. If contract extends over 24 months, the contract will be relooked at, reviewed and possible renegotiations will be looked at with the satisfaction of both parties. If no agreement can be made, the current contract will extend for a further 3 months. Will be deemed complete and said vessels will need to be removed from their wharfs.

I have ordered the additional staff, equipment and machinery requested by my teams already on site and on board the Undine and Soltau, be shipped immediately. They should prove no impediment to your usual shipping schedule. Operational instructions and behaviour guidelines have also been issued to all our workers.
