THP| - "The Hyperspace People" - The League - 06-01-2020 Overview
The League of Navigators, informally named "The Hyperspace People", is a neo-feudal society centered on "Bricks". The large Carriers, most of which having been produced off of blueprints, were found to have excellent amounts of cargo to carry people and goods, and so a commercial enterprise began.
As it turns out, being able to deliver anything anywhere in Sirius in a matter of minutes is a big deal, and so The League's constituent merchant captains were able to make a mint. The legacy of the old group of smugglers, scientists, and explorers that made up the core of The League still sticks around, and so The League is often fascinated with pushing beyond the limits of Sirius. With their Horizon-pattern Jump Drives, they have been able to completely shun all Ageira and Ageira-derived technology. Relieved of this onerous burden, their fuel costs were expected to shoot into the metaphorical stratosphere, but they could just pay off regular runners to do the actual planetary stuff within Sirius. Not using the Trade Lanes and Gates, while appearing on paper to be a major slowing factor, would not really affect them due to Colossus doing the heavy calculation work. The Colossus Intelligence Engine is the heart and soul of the League's Carriers: Due to advances in the field of psychic communication, Colossus allows for League Carriers to instantaneously communicate with one another, serving as a gestalt consciousness across all the Bricks. The Fukuda System
The Fukuda System is somewhat similar to the Babylon Sector, albeit located deep within the Barrier. The expeditionary fleet consisting of Mama Brick, Magic Brick, Maximum Brick, Lucky Break, and Rush Job arrived in the system in late 825 A.S. and began evaluating the system for a full-scale colonization effort. Time would tell if things would go well. At least they got a shipyard up and with their Horizon-pattern Drives, they, and they alone, could access the System. Whatever you think goes on in there is what goes on in there.

RE: THP| - "The Hyperspace People" - E X O D I T E - 06-15-2020 I know people have been interacting with us in game, have they any words to say to us, good or bad? RE: THP| - "The Hyperspace People" - Traxit - 06-15-2020 The reason you need to push for officialdom - and more importantly - gain your own ID is...? Techcell allowances reflected in RP, that shiny new shipline we still have to get LODs and wireframes for, and also the mechanical benefits. Furthermore, it would allow for an easier reflection of a diplomatic situation, because it just feels oorp af to just have a group restricted to staring threateningly at another party instead of having a "we're fighting a war now" that OFs get to do. Read: THP is involved in multiple shiny projects at once, from the construction of a NPC zoner base in Galileo to paying off Unioners to build us a mobile shipyard. Being the guy who infocarded, hardpointed, and hitboxed most of that stuff, to get anything done, there needs to be officialdom so my members (and for the first one, the community at large) can more easily enjoy the fruits of my third-party development labors. Pictured: Grey trying out the FP12 missions. Pay attention to the date of the video. (30 November 2019) Now, imagine those missions in Galileo now. KNF players will want a piece, Lib Navy players will want a piece, Insurgency players will want a piece, Rochester Ransies will want a piece, it will shape up to be a lovely free for all. But such things are not created by unofficial randoms, no, it has to be done through official channels. tl;dr easier access to guns, ships, and misc shiny toys, also a blanket bounty board allowing for more proactive "diplomacy". We would be more than happy to stay unofficial, but with people wanting to do unique shiny toys, it would be better to have the guaranteed RP backing of an official faction. Not sure why'd you think players are going to choose to do missions on a Zoner base though. I think they have plenty of their own faction-bases to do missions from, but I think it's nice you're attempting to give Galileo life. Good luck, have fun. Independent Worlds always were meant to be the Wild West Kusari's best missions are off Battleship Sado in a fairly isolated zone. Liberty's best missions are off Delaware with a high risk of asteroids. Hellfire's best missions are off America Freeport and so are pretty isolated with little to no competition. Rochester Ranseurs, in my experience, tended to show up at Hattan, snipe a few Libdread patrols, and then scarper. All of the above show few chances at interaction. Compare to Omicron Delta now. Massive groups of mission runners facing off against massive coordinated groups of Nomads. After Kazinsal has reworked pve, we may as well give people more places to pve in. To bring all of these groups together into one zone streamlines activity and the chance for encounters. RE: THP| - "The Hyperspace People" - Squad - 09-21-2020 After reviewing your activity and contributions over the past few months, we have decided to decline THP|'s request for officialdom. You may re-apply in one month's time.
