SUBJECT: Changing course

Bonjour, Senior Engineer Jean-Louis Truchon of the MAE is speaking.

Considering the changing course of our corporation, it has been decided to move Tromelin Observatory from its current location at the edge of Brittany system to Planet Rennes, where the station will be refitted to become a civilian shipyard.

Taking the increased Outcast and Brigands activity in the system into account, we would like to request an escort by Enclave forces during the conduction of said operation.

Bonjour, Jean-Louis Truchon,

it is nice of you to directly contact the High Command, don't want to bother any peasants, do we?
But allright, since we're allready talking, I might aswell take care of this.

While I appreciate your ambitions, I'm afraid that your course of actions might not be a wise decision. A civilian shipyard would indeed be useful for your people aswell as mine, but the location is quite the dangerous place. The Westray field is largely controlled by the Brigands, who are not a big threat, but might distrubt your deliveries frequently. And the nearby Tau-23 jumphole would put your operation at risk from Outcast, Crayter or Confederate raids. If their battlegroups pass Tau-23 unnoticed, it might be difficult to send protection in time.

I'd like you to convince me that you can take care of yourself out there before I send any of my soldiers to aid you.

Monsieur Clement,

We understand the risk and a threat from Outcasts and Brigands who hid somewhere in the Westray asteroid field. However, we believe that the united garrison of the Tromelin station and recently moved closer to Tau-23 jump hole fort Albi can strike any of their raids down. Vicinity of the said fort is crucial for our safety and performance of station itself - being isolated at the border of known space of this system is not from what we want to achieve profits and industrial performance.

Your refusal to aid us is understandable, protecting our borders always should be a first-priority and thus we will perform this operation ourselves.

Thank you for your time.
