As this is a RP server, players are required to RP prior to engaging under the rules or their ID lines. In this case, it appears you managed to succeed in an engagement without saying a word. Sanction notice placed in hold.

Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE

Evidence please. I've got a bunch of members who are new to the server and could use an education in reasonable combat reaction times. It'd be nice to go through the evidence and showcase what a good approach would be / what could be done differently.
It seems a lot of them are from places like Hamburg City where additional messaging wasn't required for a fight already in-progress, so people sometimes forget to RP when joining an already-engaged groupfight.
We really need to increase the visibility of the PVP rules on this server.

After reviewing the evidence - you're sanctioning a transport for shooting at a pirate bomber who tried to blow up another ship in the convoy? Inside of the ID's allowed ZOI?
Perhaps an example of 'the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law'.

The player involved in this sanction has uninstalled the game. :/ 0/10 for new player experience, Discovery. He was a darn good roleplayer, too.
I'm gonna' go observe the sandwich rule for a bit.
