Kusari Empire - License Directory

Introduction

As some sections of the Kusari Legal Codex impose restrictions that might be a burden to legitimate operations, the reformed Empire of Kusari set up a Directory to handle permits that exempt individuals from continuously seeking the approval of the law enforcement agencies for their benign activities. In addition, this directory handles every upcoming modular base construction plans since mid 829 A.S., effectively replacing the old database.

All fees in the following sections are to be sent to this neural net account: Anzen-1.
All licenses issued by the License Directory may be revoked as punishment for repeated law violations by license holders.
All licenses issued by the License Directory are valid permanently until revoked.
All licenses issued to an organization are valid for all subsidiaries of the organization.

Obtainable special permits for restricted cargo, section III-1 Kusari Interstellar Codex*.

*It is not possible to acquire a special license for every other form of restricted cargo at the moment. Corporations wishing to acquire a special permit for restricted goods not listed in this directory, shall forward a direct request to the Government.

Requirements:
  • An applicant must not belong to an organization listed in section V, Kusari Interstellar Codex.
  • An applicant must not belong to a foreign military, intelligence or police force.
  • An applicant must state the reason what for and where the good(s) they request a special permit for, will be used.
  • An applicant must pay a one-time fee of 500.000 credits for an individual license.
  • An organization seeking a blanket license must forward a one-time fee of 5 million credits.

  • Permission to operate a "Bustard" class Civilian Carrier within Kusari. Only self-defense is permitted.

Requirements:
  • An applicant must not belong to an organization listed in section V, Kusari Interstellar Codex.
  • An applicant must not belong to a foreign military, intelligence or police force.
  • An applicant must state the reason why it is required that they traverse Kusari space with a "Bustard" class Civilian Carrier.
  • An applicant must pay a license fee of 1 million credit for an individual license.
  • An organization seeking a blanket license must forward a one-time fee of 5 million credits.

  • Permission to operate a "Amaterasu" class Samura Liner.

Requirements:
  • An applicant must provide confirmation of ownership through a Samura Heavy Industries issued ownership certificate (or similar proof of ownership).
  • An applicant must provide information regarding their vessel towards the Kusari State Police and Kusari Naval Forces.
  • An foreign applicant must also contact the Ministry of Economy and acquire their approval prior to acquisition of the vessel.

Obtainable special permit for Jump Drive operations.
  • Permission to operate a Jump Drive within Kusari space. A minimum distance to solar bodies from 10k is mandatory.

Requirements:
  • An applicant must not belong (or offer their services) to an organization listed in section V, Kusari Interstellar Codex.
  • An applicant must not belong (or offer their services) to a foreign military, intelligence or police force.
  • An applicant must state if their Jump Drive operations are of private or business nature.
  • An applicant must forward a Kishiro purchase certificate or otherwise valid proof that the Jump Drive is a certified Kishiro product. //This means, contact Kishiro Customer Service and iRP acquire get the certificate.

Requirements:
  • This permit is only granted on a case-by-case basis to state officials or other entities enjoying extreme levels of trust. Inquiries can be sent to the Naval Operation Headquarters.

Greetings, Kusari Government.

It has been some time since I have submitted a license to legally operate my hyperspace equipment in your beautiful House. I am here again to request additional licensing for equipment that is not listed in your forms. The use of a Hyperspace Beacon is paramount for my company, allowing my Bustard to jump between our own Starflier ships. Since it is not mentioned at all on your sheets, barring it not being included with the Jump Drive license, how would I request all ships flying under the Starfliers to be granted legal use of this particular equipment?

Your case has been reviewed.
The request to operate a "Bustard"-class was deemed acceptable. We are glad to see Orbital Spa & Cruise is experimenting with new customer service techniques.

Due to Orbital's good economic relations with the Empire of Kusari and your stated intention of not utilizing but only having a Jump Drive system integrated on the named "Bustard"-class, the Ministry settled not to issue a fee for a Jump Drive license. Your vessel will be placed on the list, however a mark will be made that this vessel is only permitted to transit, not generally make use of the Jump Drive system within Kusari space. Emergency jumps are permitted, however.

Additionally, the well-known operation mode of Orbital Spa & Cruise renders an additional approval seeking by the Naval Forces an unrequired bureaucratic burden for both sides.
The permanent "Bustard" Operation License comes at a fee of 500 million Sirius Credits to be transferred to this neural-net account: Anzen-1
