Greetings,
I am Felix Vespier, of the Sales & Marketing Division of Cryer Pharmaceuticals. It has been brought to our attention that your organization, the Starfliers, operate out of a fairly hostile corner of the Sector and often face the negative affects of radiation.
As Cryer is ever in need of additional commercial partners and your business seems to be quite unique, perhaps we can discuss a mutually beneficial relationship. In the meantime, I've instructed a team of my freight pilots to get together a care-package for your staff in Kepler, pro-bono.
Please instruct our team here in this channel as to the location specifics you'd like this delivery sent to and we'll have it out the door right away!

My name is Leon Vicci, the leader of the Starfliers. I read Halpert's small report of his encounter with one of your ships in the Taus.
Halpert is right, we have spent just under a year living within the Kepler System. Our home has grown and developed within that year, but it isn't immune to the constant storm within Kepler as is the crew. What we're after is a way to combat symptoms from prolonged exposure to radiation. In the near future, I don't see myself living in Kepler. The rest of my team and I would like to live long enough to make that happen.
Halpert mentioned getting a test for radiation poisoning done by your pilot, I would kindly ask if a team was sent to Starflier Base to determine how bad we have it before moving onto treatment. If any funds are needed to make this happen, do let me know. We're happy to pay for services, no need for pro-bono work, Felix.
As always, Godspeed

Greetings Mr. Vicci,
I must apologize on behalf of Cryer for delaying the operation. We've had many urgent matters as of lately and only now had the opportunity to address the issue at hand. To avoid delaying matters any further, we've taken a step forward and dispatched a medical unit to your base. No financial compensation required.
According to the report, it appears that the situation is dire. Most of your crew are already suffering from radiation sickness, and it seems to be spreading rapidly. I'm attaching the full original report from our employee Terrence Smith.
Due to the urgency of the situation and the unfortunate circumstances under which our assessment got delayed, Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. will dispatch a shipment of one (1) Med-Stasis Band per crew member of Starflier Base for the mere cost of production and shipment coverage - 1500 credits per unit. Additionally, we will send a medical team to be permanently employed aboard the station. Please report to us the exact number of crew members on board, so that we can prepare an accurate shipment.
As for the radiation medicine, Radomin™ is a new and specialized anti-radiation drug with minimal to nonexistent side effects, that we have limited quantities of. We are willing to offer you a special price of 2125 credits per unit, which is a 15% discount from the normal price. In any case, we can negotiate the deal further to adjust to your financial situation.
We look forward to your reply.

Report of Background Radiation in Kepler and its effects on the Starflier Organisation
By Terrance Smith
I was despatched today to investigate the radiation situation that the Starfliers are suffering. I originally reported this to your team some time ago, but after the Gaian attacks on Planet Gaia and the destruction of our annex at Atka, my ability to provide the in depth report you have requested has been delayed.
I left Atka, where I had been stationed in case of further terrorist attacks and proceeded through Kusari space to Kepler. The journey was uneventful with no-one stopping me.
Staff at Atka had ensured that we the correct equipment for investigating radiation, which immediately lit up as soon as we jumped into Kepler. We quickly realized that the levels of background radiation are more than strong enough to penetrate standard spacecraft shielding. Our computer warned us of system degradation should we remain in the system for too long.
The onboard research corp immediately began measuring the quantity of radiation that was penetrating the shielding, it was determined to have no short-term ill effects to humans. Also the mild dose of radiation would fade some time after leaving the system. However, the research corp warned that this was only the short-term effects and that in the long term, major damage could be accrued over time.

We arrived safely at the Starflier Base, we were greeted by members of the resident base crew. Reception was friendly enough, the crew were aware that there had been communication between our two groups, I asked after Leon Vicci, but he was apparently unavailable at the time. The hanger was quite empty, with all the Starflier pilots seeming to be out doing whatever they normally do.
The Crew thought that we would deliver a load of generic medicine. They actually seemed disappointed that my craft was only equipped for limited supply and assessment.

Once I explained that an assessment was needed to ensure that we supplied the right drugs to suit their circumstances, the response was quick as they set up orderly queues for testing the resident crew members. Due to their absence, we were unable to test how the radiation has effected the pilots and leadership of the Starfliers.

The results weren't particularly good. Several of the Starflier crew have mild radiation sickness, while radiation levels in others have increased to such an extent that they are at risk of developing the sickness. Minor DNA breakdown has been observed in some subjects, this drastically increases their risk of cancer or other life-threatening diseases.
Given the radiation can penetrate the thick, shielded hull of our Scarab, there is no doubt that the shielding of the Starflier base is also being penetrated.
While the medical team checked the crew, the research corp checked the publically avaliable sections of the base. There is definitely radiation penetrating inside the base, with the reported levels being roughly the same everywhere they were allowed to check.
While we did provide immediate treatment for those members of the crew that are already suffering radiation sickness, we were not carrying enough medication or med statis bands for the whole crew. Let alone, the pilots who are out working.
The recommendations from my medical crew are as follows:- Provide a permanent medical team, there is only one doctor on board this base and they were one of the members with radiation sickness.
- Provide a year's supply of Med-Stasis Bands. These will allow for faster monitoring of vital signs without requiring the special equipment and facilities that we at Cryer have access to.
- Manufacture and supply a large quantity of our special high-strength anti-radiation medication, Radomin™. This product can reduce radiation levels in the body, boost the immune system and has minimal side-effects compared to other products on the market. This medicine is not cheap, nor is it something we usually keep a large supply of, but our usual off the shelf solutions are only preventative. The situation has progressed too far for mere preventative measures to correct the situation.

Seems we both are having issues reaching each other. Maybe this storm is affecting our communications hardware. God, I hope it passes soon, love to see Kepler's sky.
But I digress, let's continue our discussion about treatments. Med-Stasis bands are those pieces of tech that track heart-rates, blood pressures and multiple other bodily functions, right? I suppose those would be very handy in monitoring our crew. We have about 800 on board, ranging from pilots and deck crew to scientists and researchers. Across everyone there's varying degrees of sickness, with our pilots being the most affected. This a new 1,500 for everyone on board comes to 1,200,000 sc. I'll send over 5,000,000 for good measure, tell me which account to send it into.
The neural net has nothing on this Radomin. Have you got any more information that you can send to me before I decide? Offering an unknown substance to combat something as serious as this would raise a few questions.
That report was quite enlightening. Sorry I was not available during your visit. I'll be sure to be present next time you stop by. I'll also ask the deck crews and the dockmaster to setup a space in the main docking area for your team to operate out of.
As always, Godspeed

Greetings Mr. Vicci,
Thank you for continuing your business with us! Your generosity will not go unnoticed.
We'll provide your crew with a total of 1000 Med-Stasis Bands, so that you'll have a few spares in case of malfunctions or additional crew members coming on board. Please make sure you prepare a room for us to deploy our state-of-the-art modular clinic, to enable our trained professionals to monitor your crew's health and apply treatments as needed.
You may transfer the payment to our bank account at +Cryer+Offshore.Acct.1
Regarding Radomin™, our marketing team is now actively working to spread the word and upload detailed information to the neural net. While we're working on it, attached to this message you'll find a brief information brochure explaining the details and comparing the new product to its less successful predecessors. I can assure you that the product is safe to use, and has been tested and approved by multiple governments already. I went ahead to offer you Radomin prior to its launch since we have full confidence in the product and even use it internally to treat radiation poisoning our pilots sometimes encounter while passing irradiated zones in the edge worlds.
Of course, if you'd rather use the less efficient Raderase™, we still have plenty in stock and can offer it to you for the convenient price of 1660 credits per unit. Let us know once you've made your mind.
Cryer Pharmaceuticals, Inc. thank you for your purchase and wish you and your crew a speedy return to complete health.

We are in desperate need to get ourselves checked out and cured, so I will confirm a shipment of Radomin to be sent over. Though, the destination will not be Kepler. If you could send it out to Freeport 1 in the Omega-3 system, that would be way more handy as all of our pilots have been asked to relocate there temporarily.
Your designated account should have received the funds. We look forward to getting our pilots all fixed up. If you could, please start with Halpert Kennedy. He's suffered the most so far.

Greetings Mr. Vicci,
I just confirmed with Dr. Persimony Felcher, head of our R&D department, that he deployed his personally trained medical team aboard Freeport 1 to examine the situation of your crew. We loaded his mobile lab with 1600 units of Radomin™ //Pharmaceuticals// and 1000 Med-Stasis Bands to issue a combined delivery and waste no time. You'll find proof of delivery in the attachments below.
As per your request, I've told Dr. Felcher to examine Mr. Kennedy first. If anything pops out, he'll be in touch with you for further investigation and treatment suggestions. Be advised, however, that Felcher's methodology is rather... Unorthodox, so to speak. Nothing to worry about, I assure you that your crew will be safe and sound and they'll come back to Kepler all in one piece. Just giving you a heads up for possibly strange requests that might come form his end.
Thanks again for choosing Cryer!
