Sirius Business: Cryer Acquisition - Cryer Pharm. Inc. - 04-17-2023 [830 A.S] Join us today for another episode of Sirius Business, where Eliza Joy covers the recent acquisition of Cryer Pharmaceuticals by a young aspiring billionaire, after almost a year of the company laying low without any progress in their fields of research. Coming up next on the Colony News Service channel 9. All the news that's fit for you, this is the Colony News Service
Cryer Pharmaceuticals, known for manufacturing most, if not all of the medicine available throughout the Sirius sector, has been laying very low with their research projects since their unsuccessful attempt to expand Atka Research Station. With stock prices drastically dropping, the company has been recently acquired by the aspiring young billionaire Kilian A. Queen. Does that signify a new start for the company's business endeavors?
I'm Eliza Joy, and this is Sirius Business. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business With us on the comm line are two of the company's most influential chairmen: Business Manager Sir Donnel Bucksworth, and Head of Research Dr. Persimony Felcher. Sir Donnel Bucksworth Business Manager @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Thank you so much for having us on the show, Eliza dear! It's a pleasure to be here. Dr. Persimony Felcher Head of Research @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Real pleasure indeed. Thank you. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business The pleasure is all mine, gentlemen. Now, tell me, what has Cryer been up to in the recent year? Why have you guys gone under the radar for so long? Dr. Persimony Felcher Head of Research @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Well, we haven't really stopped anything we were doing, it's just- Sir Donnel Bucksworth Business Manager @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Dr. Felcher, I'll take it from here please. Thank you. Well, as you probably know, a successful business must take risks to remain successful. The expansion of Atka was a major risk we had to take, albeit an unfortunate one. The failure of this project led to a chain of unfortunate events bringing many of our operations to a halt, including the diminishing of Stabiline supply despite high demand. Without restoring Atka to its full capacity, it's hard to maintain a high production rate. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business So the failure of the Atka expansion was a catastrophic event for the corporation, I get it. But what about the other projects? You had ongoing advancements with the Crayter Republic, and a business venture on Planet Curacao. Sir Donnel Bucksworth Business Manager @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Ah yes, our research lab on Curacao is still alive and kicking. The "Borneo Project" however never kicked off. We never agreed on the terms of the contract. Quite a shame actually, it seemed like an interesting opportunity for both parties. Dr. Persimony Felcher Head of Research @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Actually, now when we have more funds, we might reinitiate this project along with some others. Before you ask, I'm in no position to share more details unfortunately. Apologies. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Speaking of funds, how are you both finding the new owner? I gather it's like a breath of fresh air for your departments, is it not? Dr. Persimony Felcher Head of Research @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Oh, definitely! That's exactly the kind of change I've been waiting for. Finally, I'm able to promote long-awaited research projects that haven't seen the light of day. Sir Donnel Bucksworth Business Manager @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. It's a welcome change indeed, and what a fine guy Mr. Queen is! Good looking as well, I must add. Though, honestly, I still need to get used to the fact this company is owned by someone so much younger than myself! [chuckles] Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Would you say that the wind of change blows strong enough for you to attempt the Atka expansion a second time? Sir Donnel Bucksworth Business Manager @ Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc. At this time, I really can't say. Not because my lips are sealed, but because it's a conflict between the ever-rising demand for Stabiline and our values as a company. Many lives were lost in the incident, and a lot of money went down the drain. We wouldn't want to make such risks again. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Thank you so much gentlemen, that'd be all for now. We'll be right back after a short commercial break with more details on Cryer's new owner, Mr. Kilian A Queen. Did he take a risk acquiring the majority of Cryer stocks? What's his plan for the pharma giant's future? All that an more, right here on Sirius Business. Stay with us. RE: Sirius Business: Cryer Acquisition - Cryer Pharm. Inc. - 05-16-2023
Kilian Alan Queen, a young billionaire virtually unheard of prior to his recent public move, acquired a 60% share of Cryer Pharmaceuticals Inc.,
making him the prime board member and a major decision maker. The future of Sirius' largest pharma company is now in the hands of a 30-year-old entrepreneur. Despite his very tight schedule, Mr. Queen managed to squeeze in a short interview with me. The interview was recorded prior to this show. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Thank you for scheduling an interview with me on such a short notice, Mr. Queen. Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman Of course! I wouldn't want to leave anyone in the dark about my intentions with Cryer. Now, let's get down to it, shall we? Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Alright, so first thing first: tell me a bit about yourself. Not many people have heard your name, let alone the name of your family. Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman Yes that's true. And understandable, since my family was not considered wealthy at all. I grew up with a single mom on Planet Manhattan, she gave her all to send me to business school and make me who I am today. I don't know who my father was, and I never knew anyone aside from my mother. You could say we're practically nobodies, rising from the ashes. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business That's interesting. So how did you manage to gain wealth so quickly? Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman Some would say that I'm a naturally born businessman, others would say that I'm just lucky. I just think I had a great teacher. My wealth mostly comes from stock trading and investment in a large variety of startups. There's no magic trick to it really, but I would not have succeeded without the knowledge gleaned from my teacher, support from my family and perhaps a bit of luck. Heh, I guess they were right, perhaps I'm a lucky man. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Hopefully your luck will continue now that you've made your largest investment yet. And about that investment: there's so many companies out there you could invest into, why Cryer? Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman My mother is now in a rehab hospital as we speak, attempting to recover from a Nox addiction. It's a dangerous drug of Gallic origin. The moment she tried it, I couldn't stop her. We tried all kinds of treatment but no luck yet. The Gallic companies have been struggling with this drug for decades with no success in sight. If I want to bring peace to my mother and the tens of thousands affected by this scourge, I would need support from a group with a proven track record in difficult addiction research. I heard many say that it's easier to live with a cardamine addiction, thanks to Cryer's Stabiline treatment. So I turned to their representatives, only to discover that the company's activities and the manufacturing of Stabiline has diminished. So, my purchase of Cryer is a partnership. I will help fund their company's research and production and they will help me achieve my goal; To ensure citizens of all houses will be able to live a happy, quiet life, without having to worry about drug addictions and life-threatening diseases. That is why I acquired Cryer. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business That's a very noble cause, truly heart-warming. Thank you so much for sharing such a personal story with us. It's not all about philantropy though, is it? A successful businessman like you must have some plan to make more money with Cryer. Aside from a cure for Nox addiction, do you have any other plans you'd like to execute while being a leading board member of the company? Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman There are many business opportunities to harvest. Cryer has a very talented research team that could potentially bring any R&D project into a viable product. As a personal take, I'm most interested in the potential uses of several organic bacteria that can be found across Sirius. I believe that investing into Alien Organism research is the way to go. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business So does that mean you'd be expanding your reach further into the Edge Worlds? Maybe return to the Sigmas? Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman Not necessarily, only if we really have to. Not many know that, but some independent worlds have an abundance of bacterial species. I'm aiming to expand there, for one, and I believe there's more opportunities in house space as well. Maybe we'll find a partner in Gallia for the Nox research and expand there. There's plenty of raw potential, and I trust in my own ability to direct it towards profitable venues that also help society as a whole. Eliza Joy Show Hostess @ Sirius Business Thank you, Mr. Queen. It has been a pleasure to meet you. Kilian A. Queen Independent Businessman The pleasure was all mine.
The mysterious businessman that came out of nowhere, turns out to be a powerful investor with philanthropical tendencies and a heartfelt sob story in the background. Will he be the one who saves Cryer from their downwards spiral? Only time will tell. For those of you who are looking for a great potential for profit, I think now is the best time to invest in Cryer. I see a bright future ahead of them. I was your hostess Eliza Joy.
