Hello, to whom it may concern. I am Albert McKenzie, Research lead of the Starfliers. To my understanding, we have been contracted by your various battlegroups to do several hyperspace jobs over the last few years. Recently, now with Kishiro's updates to their hardware stopping us from continuing this service and obtaining more of this data ourselves.

I am unsure if my request today will be answered, or at least approved. It may be the information I am asking for is classified or otherwise unobtainable by the Starfliers. I am requesting to have access to your old and outdated hyperspace information. The same data that would have been acquired by a standard Survey Module a few years ago. If this information is anything like our own outdated library, then I would think it's unusable when used alongside a Jump Drive.

I am in no business to exploit Liberty Space, we are working on a hyperspace project that requires this outdated data.

It will be safe to say that this is in practice addressed to myself. As far as I am aware it was only yours truly and staff under my command that have been requesting Hyperspace information from your organization over the years - the other battlegroups as you called them have preferred to stay in the safety of our core systems as we pushed the envelope, often with aid of hyperspace jumps behind enemy lines.

Given that a lot of the coordinates have been provided by Starfliers I will authorize this request, but first I can't help but ask why would you required them, and what will these be used for? Which systems do you need outdated coordinates to?

Glad to meet you, Van Leer. I believe it was you or one of your own that asked some researchers to enter the Eastern Sectors of Texas, study the hazardous incident that occurred there quite a long time ago.

It is a surprise that you are open to this request, being that to my knowledge, military data is not something shared so easily. For this project, I am only after survey data of the following systems: New York, Colorado, California, Pennsylvania and Texas. Of course if there is data related to any areas you deem sensitive to share, feel free to remove this information.

The data will be used to identify hyperspace relativity within a cluster of systems. It will enable us, we hope, to create a new piece of hyperspace hardware. I have chosen Liberty for this as we have done a bulk of our work within the Republic.

This is why I am curious - most of this data has been provided by your organisation. It feels like you must have lost your databanks or staff have changed? My people worked with Starfliers well before Texas over multiple years as part of various command structures, we would just be sending back the coordinates you provided mostly.

What is the reason behind not using your own data?

Due to an unfortunate incident while we were evacuating Kepler, we had lost 79% of our information. I am not one to admit failure, and as such it was not brought up in my communication earlier.

Yes, you are right. I would be asking for the exact same data to be sent back to us. Both to rebuild our hyperspace servers, but primarily to allow us to pursue this project of ours.

That would explain it. And while our administrators are searching the archives for the data, I have a request from you.

The Kepler system is an enigma, with impenetrable hazards that made us abandon our positions there.

What exactly happened there? What data do you possess on the system over the past three years right up to your departure? Do Starfliers have any theories as to potential expansive dangers of the dark matter, anomalies and what may lie within in the future?

Please send over your available data - who knows, you just might help us develop technologies and make scientific discoveries that may enable Liberty and Starfliers alike to one day return to the system.

Much of our information of the Kepler system is gone. One of our pilots had recorded the data we lost, as it's their job to personally inspect any objects and record it's location. Perhaps they remember some details. I am sorry to say that I do not know specifics about Kepler, only that recently it's become a much more hazardous system. In hindsight, I am glad Leon evacuated us before it got much worse.

If you can reach Halpert Kennedy, they might help. I will await further updates from administrators.
