Rule Revision - February 2024 - Karst - 02-08-2024

Hello, players.

Like we mentioned a while back, we've wanted to simplify the rules so they aren't such a massive block of text to slam onto new players, and aren't a complicated maze to navigate for old ones.

We've implemented a much, much simpler version, which should be more or less the same in spirit, but should do away with a lot of unnecessary technicality.
Please tell us if there's typos, errors, or weird stuff going on in the revised set.

Thanks!

The Server Rules

Quote:3.1 - You may only attack a Core 1 base (or higher) if your ID has a ZOI covering it. You may only attack a Core 2 base (or higher) with additional roleplay documented on the forum.

Does this mean IDs with no ZoI are unable to siege bases?

Let's get started.

The rules no longer clarify what counts as equipment for IDs that can demand or attack ships carrying certain kinds of it.

POB sieges follow one rule above all, which is "Does it make sense for your individual or organization to attack this base" and if it does, you're good.

I'd say Nomad guns count as Nomad Materials.

Right, I forgot we're in the unwritten principles supersede the written ruleset era. It's just begging for people to get tripped up on unnecessary ambiguity.
