ADMIN NOTICE: Refunds - Korrd - 04-09-2007

Recently, I've got some requests to refund lost characters, or accounts whose owner lost the key.
Some of those request are correct, some others are ridiculous.

For example: a player requested a refund of 700mill for a battleship that was supposedly deleted during the last inactive player's wipe because it was never more than 10min in game. Now, how can a character be a battleship (and with 700mill creds on it) and had never been on-line for more than 10 minutes? That is not possible because of the time it takes to get the battleship and weapons. And if possible, it means that the player in question cheated to get all in less than ten minutes.

So, from now on, you must prove that the chars in question are really yours. And also that those ships had the money and equipment you claimed they had.
  • For character deletion request, a screen-shot of the character selection screen, showing ship name, level, credits and location is required.

  • For refunds, same as for deletion requests plus screen-shots showing equipment, money and name is required.
Said screen-shots are to be submitted only by PM/E-mail to an Admin. And never publicly.

Without those, refunds will be denied.

I take this measure to avoid abuse, and stop people from claiming inexistent sums of money from supposedly lost characters.

Pls delete this post if it shouldnt be here, but getting a BS within 10 minits IS possible, the liberty dreadnought is on pitsburg, 1 minit flight ( whith use of TL's)when you first start your char, and the money could have been xferd, imo.

Yes, but that dread with full load out, and only been used for 10 minutes? Who goes and buys a brand new Dread so it can sit in your char screen?

ADMIN NOTICE: Refunds - supernova - 04-10-2007

LOL Korrd...Anyways,in what time amount does your chars get deleted?Every week?Every Moneth?

ADMIN NOTICE: Refunds - Dab - 04-10-2007

Every month. And Super, please put a space between your periods and the first letter of the next sentence. Makes it ten times easier to read..

If playerDB > 2000 chars, then its monthly.
If playerDB > 1000 and < 2000, then every two months.
If playerDB < 1000, then no wipes are done. That is because IFSO tends to misbehave with playerDB bigger than 1000, so if it is under 1000, there is no problem.

Does this take in consideration of being baned?:Pjust cerious as to if mine would get deleted. erm again lol.

ADMIN NOTICE: Refunds - Dab - 05-18-2007

When your ship is deleted by an admin as punishment, you don't get a refund. Thats common sense there. Its meant to punish you and teach you a lesson, not say, okay here is some money so you just have to rebuy the ship/equipment and reget your reputations.

ADMIN NOTICE: Refunds - Korrd - 05-18-2007

He is not talking about that Dab.

Only non banned characters are considered for deletion. Those chars that are banned are not deleted.

ADMIN NOTICE: Refunds - Exile - 05-18-2007

So, for the record.
when your not banned, your chars wont be wiped?
