To: The Battleship Hood Bazaar Representatives. CC: IMG CEO - The Orbitals - 03-31-2013 ![]() ![]() From: Sir Mathew Halle, Orbital's legal representative To: "The Bazaar" - Battleship Hood Encryption level: |||||||||| Good Morning sirs, I'm adressing you on behalf of "The Orbital Syndicate". We haven't done so many trips to Dublin, as far as I know all of them were intended to survey the economic possibilities of the System. In the last trip we found one of the best Marketplace one can imagine. An entire Bretonian Battleship refittet to a Bazaar, full of activity, and why not admit it, full of potential customers. If we are sending this transmission is becasue we are interested in deploy a floating depot near your installations at Dublin. In exchange we would offer, in exclusive, a 50% discount of all our services at such system. You can check all our services and offers at the "Scrap Jungle - Shop and services" where you will find the info related to [*O]-Floating.Depot.01, the depot we want to deploy at you bazaar. Additionally to this, we would ask for temporary and intermitent docking permisions for our scouts and escorts in order to protect our assets deployed at Dublin. I hope you find this propoasal good enough, of course we are open to negotiations in case you have a different deal in mind. Thanks for your time gentlemen. Sincerely, Sir Mathew Halle, Orbital's legal representative RE: To: The Battleship Hood Bazaar Representatives. CC: IMG CEO - AeternusDoleo - 04-01-2013 **** Incoming Transmission **** From: Johnathan Sanders To: Matthew Halle Subject: Depot deployment CC: Bretonian Police Authority Encryption: Civilian (// Readable by house intelligence) Mr. Halle, The Hood is indeed a spacebased trading center which also accomodates various racing teams utilising the Dublin Course in the nearby asteroid field. While it is the Independent Miners Guild that keeps the Hood pressurised and her hull maintained, many smaller businesses have set up inside her, not all of which are related to the Guild. There are also some smaller mining crews that operate out her, mining gold elsewhere in the system. We run her largely under Freeport terms, which means anyone without ill intent can dock and trade freely on Hood. Your corporation is free to do so as well. As to your request of establishing a depot near the ship, personally I have no objection (as long as you maintain at least 4000 meters clearance to ensure there is no risk of collision during heavy solar activity), but be aware that the system is claimed Bretonian sovereign space, and the law requires you to obtain permission from the Bretonian government prior to establishing any base. Also, the Mollies have a heavy presence in Dublin, and do not tend to appreciate folk setting up shop in their back yard. If you get into trouble with either the Bretonian government or the Mollies, do not expect Hood to intervene on your behalf. She may look like a battleship, but the Mollies took most of the fight out of her on the Founders Day. Regards, - Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild Ps. the Guild is not structured like a conventional corporation. We do not have a CEO and top-down structure, we're more a union of independent miners who have banded together in order to better compete with the various major mining corporations. **** Transmission Closed **** RE: To: The Battleship Hood Bazaar Representatives. CC: IMG CEO - The Orbitals - 04-01-2013 ![]() ![]() From: Sir Mathew Halle, Orbital's legal representative To: "The Bazaar" - Battleship Hood Encryption level: |||||||||| Mr. Johnathan Sanders, First of all, thanks for your fast reply. I'm more than happy to see that Battleship Hood is open to us since we are just planning to offer logistics support to the already deployed mining and shipping companies and guilds. I'll forward your words to the logistics department so they can start the trip to Dublin. Speaking of the floating depot, you have to forgive me, I'm afraid i haven't explained correctly what it means. In order to reduce expenses, production time but mainly Bretonian taxes and bureaucracy, our Floating depots are mobile, thus they do not fall under "static assets" and are exempt of such protocols. Said that, i'll transmit your recomendation to our employees so they put special attention when it comes to dock at the bazar such floating infrastructure. Again, thanks for your time. Sincerely, Sir Mathew Halle, Orbital's legal representative |
