As the demand for Ageira's patented trade lanes, jump gates, and docking rings grew throughout Sirius, so too did the need for adequate transportation for such important components grow alongside it. However, the typical transports available to the larger civilian market proved inadequate for Ageira's sensitive operations. A custom vessel with excellent defensive capabilities, versatile application potential, and space for large payloads was needed. After searching for an ideal spaceframe, the venerable Libertonian C5 Bison was picked as the base. Thus, the Stegodon was born. A perfect synthesis of top-of-the-line Ageira design and reliable Libertonian construction, the Stegodon possesses an experimental lightweight alloy for its hull plating that allows for thinner armor with no sacrifice of defense. With more space inside the vessel, it is able to safely ferry Ageira materials to construction sites in style and safety throughout the sector.
