Trebuchets are heavy artillery weapons found on most Gallic capital ships.
The Heavy Trebuchet offers a lackluster rate of fire, but will produce one massive blast every ten seconds, provided the siege platform can supply the energy required to do so. The Heavy Trebuchet carries enough firepower to destroy gunboats and smaller cruisers in one hit, however its blasts travel slowly, and can easily be avoided by smaller craft, making the Heavy Trebuchet a weapon best used against large, slow, or immobile targets.
