        Areas of Interest

        Nebulae

        Omicron Beta Edge Nebula

        >>>WARNING: NAVIGATIONAL HAZARD<<<

The Omicron-Beta Edge Nebula is rich in Alien Organisms, present on the surface of most asteroids. Its high background radiation levels do not invite lingering, however. Exposure time in open space should be minimized. Due to the very high pirate activity in this system, caution is advised at all times.

        Asteroid Fields

        Lisbon Debris Field

Containing the remains of Lisbon Station, this newly-formed debris filed has already caught the attention of salvagers willing to brave the fury of nature and Outcasts alike. Though of no military value, the equipment that can be found nonetheless sells for a good profit at refining facilities across Sirius.

        Wrecks

        Pathfinder - E-5/6

The wreck of the Pathfinder is all that remains of the famous Bounty Hunter T. "Bob" Biggs's last voyage.

Sharing an eerily similar story as other pilots in search of fortune through pillaging and assassinating Outcast ships, Biggs followed this course of action after finishing his sentence aboard the LPI Prison Ship Sugarland. He rose through the ranks of the Guild at a rapid pace, and acquired significant wealth from hunting down Liberty Rogues and Xenos. However, still desiring for more, he set off to Tau-37, from which he launched frequent raids into Outcast space, going as far as the other regions of the Omicron Alpha system and even entering into the nearby ones.

One day, the patrols finally caught up with his ship on the outskirts of Omicron Alpha, close to the Beta Jump Hole. He was promptly shot down, with the Pathfinder towed to Omicron Beta, acting as a reminder to Bounty Hunters and other intruders alike of the dangers posed by entering such areas.

        Contains:

        Hosho Maru - E-4

Launched in 786 AS, the Hosho Maru was a top-of-the-line GMG vessel equipped for surveying gas fields for resources. With the Sigma-13 gas mining slowing down, it embarked upon a journey of discovering new fields for the GMG to exploit.

This took it to the outskirts of the Sigmas, whereupon it entered a new Jump Hole previously uncharted. The thirst for curiosity was the crew's downfall, however, as they did not spend much time in the Omicron Beta before being located and captured by the Outcasts.

No signs of the crew have ever been returned, but the wreck of the Hosho Maru remains as intact as it has been at launch, still containing many of the materials used for its mission.

        Contains:

Escort of the Hosho Maru - E-4

One of the GMG escorts of the Hosho Maru. The expedition was in search of new H-Fuel deposits when they were set upon by unknown assailants.

        Contains:

Escort of the Hosho Maru - E-4

One of the GMG escorts of the Hosho Maru. The expedition was in search of new H-Fuel deposits when they were set upon by unknown assailants.

        Contains:

        Santa Rosa - B-3

The wreck of an Outcast transport ship, Santa Rosa frequently ran supply runs from planet Malta to the bases in Omicron Beta, bringing both much-needed Cardamine and munitions.

On one such voyage, the Order came across it and ambushed the Santa Rosa but left the wreck in a far away region of the system. Cardamine can still be found onboard, while the bodies of the crew have been preserved to this day.

        Contains:

        Shapash - G-6/5

One of the few fighters that attempted to escape the destroyed Lisbon Starbase, the Shapash was piloted by Tom Kimmons, an Order agent that spent much of his time raiding the frequent patrols that were dispatched by Galicia Research Station.

On the day of the attack on Lisbon, he spent little time trying to understand the circumstances and decided to rush for the hangar bays to escape. Successful in doing so, he shot down two Outcast ships on the way out, which were blocking the way.

Tom never reached the relative safety of Omicron Mu, in spite of the events around Lisbon, as he was located by an Outcast raiding party later that day and killed. His ship can still be found close to the Jump Hole leading to the Order's new home, serving as a tribute to the battles fought by the organization against both human and alien rivals.

        Contains:

        Target System Type Location
        Omicron Alpha Jump Hole D/C-2/3
        Sigma-19 Jump Hole D-7/6
