The Aubrac was designed some years ago as a transport which bridges the gap between the Aurochs and Vache, however the design was never put into production over concerns it would cut too heavily into the sale of the Vache and allow smaller competitors to take a larger share of the market.
The new government insisted that EFL specifically design a ship such as the Aubrac to be produced to help revitalise the Gallic economy. Not wishing to refuse, the corporation modernised the old design and slowly began to roll out the ships.
