The Claymore loosely resembles the well-known Falchion fightercraft, though it is much heavier in design and also features a unique, integrated forward facing cannon. The origin of the design is widely unknown, yet rumours persist that the original Claymore was handcrafted by an unlawful mercenary seeking for a vessel capable of surprising and overwhelming even the most experienced lawful fightercraft pilots. While not having received widespread popularity, the vessel's design was already adapted by several adventurous independent shipbuilders and multiple versions - each featuring a different kind of forward cannon - have begun to appear around Sirius.
