    Areas of Interest

    Nebulae

    Saint-Remy Nebula

A medium-sized nebula of ice particles located within the Nievre Asteroid Field.

    Autun Nebula

A vast nebula consistent mainly of small ice particles.

    Asteroid Fields

    Cote-d'Or Asteroid Field

A large asteroid field in a remote region of Burgundy. Remains largely unexplored.

    Morvan Asteroid Field

An asteroid field in a populated area of Burgundy system. Gallic Brigands activity is known to be high within the field borders, and civilians are advised to keep their distance.

    Genlis Debris Field

A medium-sized field of large space debris remaining after construction of the Dijon Station. This area was also used to dump debris remaining after other Burgundy base construction sites. Junkers have made an attempt to clear outer parts of the field, but after the start of Second Gallic War it became obvious that this operation won't reach completion anytime soon.

    Tille Debris Field

A debris field located not far from Alesia Station, formed after construction of Alesia, Avallon and nearby trade lanes in 600-700 AS

    Wrecks

    Invincible - G-5

In 732 AGS, Invincible participated in an operation to distract the Royal Navy forces from advancing into Languedoc. In a daring assault against the Dijon Station, Invincible and accompanying ships destroyed several dozens of Police and Navy fighters until capital ship reinforcements could arrive from Nevers. While Invincible could fight back the Navy gunboats, its hull was severely damaged, and it had to retreat to the nearby debris field. Remaining fighters of the Council covered the retreat, and the crew of the gunboat was saved. Hull of Invincible will remain stuck inside the Genlis Debris Field until Junkers who clear the field will be able to retrieve it.

    Contains:

    Brave - G-4

Nievre asteroid field is considered one of the most dangerous places in all Gallia by GRN pilots. The Brave was part of a reconnaissance mission sent within this field. The ship was surrounded by the Council fighters and disabled by weapon fire. Fate of the pilot is unknown.

    Contains:

    Pomone - B-4

This IDF freighter was part of the convoy travelling through the trade lane in 732 AGS. The lane was disrupted by Gallic Brigands, and Pomone was the only ship to escape the fight... which, however, did not save the ship's crew. Left in open space without fuel, with damaged communication devices and life support, Pomone still holds whatever riches it was carrying to the Gallic Core Worlds.

    Contains:

    Superbe - C/D-2/1

A heavy fighter that once belonged to an overly self-confident EFL pilot, the Superbe broke off its convoy to chase a fleeing Corse light fighter. The chase led him into the vasts of the Cote-d'Or Asteroid Field, from which he never returned.

    Contains:

    Destin - E/F-2/1

A Council bomber trapped in the confines of the Tille Debris Field. The bomber was part of the Council raiding party tasked to attack a Royal Navy cruiser heading to reinforce the Navy group near the Champagne Jump Gate. The cruiser, however, had more escort fighters than the Council intelligence predicted, and Destin had to retreat to the nearby debris field. Cruise engine breaks have failed, and the bomber hit a large piece of debris at full speed. Severely injured pilot was later rescued by other Council ships.

    Contains:

    Quenza - B-4/3

When the rumors of Emile Bartoli's death in Champagne reached the Brigands whom he knew, his friend Sophie Bouvier collected a few of her mates and went on a mission to revenge upon the Unione Corse. Quenza was part of the first Corse patrol they encountered after entering the Autun Nebula in Burgundy. The Brigands approached Corse ships close-range and opened fire unexpectedly, killing all pilots before they could report back to their base. Trophy Royal Police weapons were used so that no one would be able to identify the attackers. Satisfied with the outcome, Sophie returned to Valence triumphant.

    Contains:

    Flamaran - F-7/8

Flamaran was a heavy fighter belonging to the Maquis. Its pilot was killed by an occasional shot in a fight with Royal Navy, and the ship drifted into the confines of the Saint-Remy Nebula located within the Nievre Asteroid Field.

    Contains:

    Leclerke - D/C-7/8

The Leclerke is a Gallia Royal Navy fighter, whose pilot was killed in a fierce skirmish near the Champagne Jump Hole against the Council forces. There may still be equipment left intact.

    Contains:

    Heros - G/H-3

The Heros is the Gallic Royal Navy fighter, whose pilot was killed in a fierce skirmish near the Languedoc Jump Hole against the Council forces. There may still be equipment left intact.

    Contains:

    Council Heavy Fighter - H/G-7

A heavy fighter belonging to the Council that was disabled in a fight with the Gallic Navy or the Gallic Police. Fate of the pilot is unknown; ship hull is damaged beyond repair, but there is a chance that functioning equipment remains onboard.

    Contains:

    Council Heavy Fighter - G-5

A heavy fighter belonging to the Council that was disabled in a fight with the Gallic Navy or the Gallic Police. Fate of the pilot is unknown; ship hull is damaged beyond repair, but there is a chance that functioning equipment remains onboard.

    Contains:

    Council Light Fighter - B/C-3/4

A light fighter belonging to the Council that was disabled in a fight with the Gallic Navy or the Gallic Police. Fate of the pilot is unknown; ship hull is damaged beyond repair, but there is a chance that uncrippled equipment remains onboard.

    Contains:

    Council Light Fighter - B-5

A light fighter belonging to the Council that was disabled in a fight with the Gallic Navy or the Gallic Police. Fate of the pilot is unknown; ship hull is damaged beyond repair, but there is a chance that uncrippled equipment remains onboard.

    Contains:

    Royal Heavy Fighter - G-5/6

A light fighter belonging to the Council that was disabled in a fight with the Gallic Navy or the Gallic Police. Fate of the pilot is unknown; ship hull is damaged beyond repair, but there is a chance that uncrippled equipment remains onboard.

    Contains:

Royal Very Heavy Fighter - D/E-2/1

A very heavy fighter of the Royal Navy that was recently disabled by the Council forces or by raiders belonging to one of the Gallic pirate factions. The ship is damaged beyond repair, but some equipment may remain onboard intact.

    Contains:

    Royal Bomber - C/B-7/8

A bomber of the Royal Navy that was recently disabled by the Council forces or by raiders belonging to one of the Gallic pirate factions. The ship is damaged beyond repair, but some equipment may remain onboard intact.
