Following the instant success of the Condor, the designers at Gran Canarian Shipwrights set out to fill the Border Worlds' increasing need for an armed and armored transport. With hostilities between various factions on the rise, and a renewed wave of piracy grinding over Sirius' outer bounds, Canarian came up with the ideal solution: a marriage between the ZC-240 gunboat and a medium transport. Thus, the ZC-410 Peregrine frigate was born. Covered in thick layers of reinforced armor and sporting a heavy power core capable of supplying an array of powerful turrets with energy, the Peregrine is the perfect ship for any captain looking to cross the Border Worlds unescorted, easily capable of fending off smaller pirate attacks on its own. While offering less cargo space than transports of a similar size, the ZC-410 exceeds in survivability, firepower, and maneuverability, outperforming even some dedicated gunboats.
