XENO RELICS
While regular Artifacts are generally inert curiosities, a new and dangerous cache has been discovered deep in the Edge Worlds. Known as Xeno Relics, these ancient objects resonate with strange forms of energy. Due to their age and frequently damaged state, incautious handling or experiments can lead to disaster, quickly resulting in bans across the Colonies. Despite this, illegal research into Relics has unleashed a technological arms-race across Sirius. Numerous Edge World factions have already spilled blood to try and control or contain the source of these dangerous Artifacts.
