Building on the success of the other ships of the DL line, the A series, or "Armadillo", was designed to address one of the greatest shortfalls of the series. The vulnerability of the cargo during transit had become an issue to those who relied on these vessels, to that end the "Armadillo" was conceived. Although costing more than their other designs, the ship has seen a sharp increase in demand with the growing instability among the frontier systems of Sirius.
