The "Sichel" is a rugged series of modifications made to the "Eagle" class Very Heavy Fighter frame, a design employed by the LWB in their fight against Synth Foods in Rheinland. The primary philosophy behind these designs was to produce ships that could outlast their CTE cousins employed by the food giant's security wings, and give raiders the added punch they needed to break through escort formations and hit transport ships.
