Weapon Codename: HOWLER
A successor to the much-vaunted bomber Antimatter Cannons, project HOWLER began development by Bretonia's finest engineers in 831 A.S. Augmenting standard antimatter technology with prototypical Vanadium injectors, the HOWLER can recover and fire much more quickly than its predecessors. Currently, the HOWLER is too unstable and too expensive to produce to roll out en masse. The weapon system has only been rolled out to specific experimental units, and has seen very-little field testing, albeit with positive results. However, rumors within the Bretonian intelligence networks suggest that a potential data breach has seen these prototypes potentially sell onto the black market. When interviewed by Colony News Service on the data breach, officials were "confident that no sensitive data had been accessed or hijacked during the attack."
