Weapon Codename: LARIAT
The “LARIAT” weapon, according to legend, is a product of the Lane Hacker organization. During their operations in Magellan, there was a focused effort on intercepting high value transports headed to Liberty space, some of these ferrying weapons for internal Liberty weapon projects that were unknown to the general population. After one specific transport convoy was reported as not checking in after their passage through the system, it was suspected this convoy was carrying the prototype that would later become the ‘LARIAT’ weapon. It remains unclear if this was the weapon stolen, or if this is a reversed engineered, evolved product of the original design. The projectile’s large blue light, combined with its shining inner core and rotating outer shell, is an unmistakable trademark of the weapon.
