Weapon Codename: MOONLIGHT
The name of this weapon is based on a lunar archaeological project that took place sometime in 825 AS on Olathe, in the Kansas system. The weapon itself was found by Zoners exploring the abandoned dig site, although they were unsure why the project was abandoned. They had suspected “Project MOONLIGHT”, as the archaeological project was known, was a cover name for the development of the weapon, hence it has since been referred to as simply “MOONLIGHT.” The weapon itself features a high rate of fire, with a crystalized trail that follows behind each shot, that tends to inflict greater damage to hull plating than shield generators.
