Weapon Codename: STELLAR
Originally conceived deep in the heart of the Kusari Naval Forces' weapons lab, the prototype "STELLAR" is a one-of-a-kind weapon. Kusari Intelligence, through strongarming local Hogosha cells, were able to get their hands on the feared "Escopeta" dispersion cannons favored by the infamous Corsairs. Wanting to come up with an even more powerful iteration, STELLAR was designed to be fired in short, two-round bursts unlike its Hispanian cousin. Due to the sheer number of projectiles and burst-fire technology, the STELLAR is only suited for the largest of powercores. Ships encountering this weapon will expect to suffer cataclysmic damage at close range. The project was abandoned in 827 A.S., after a series of catastrophic failures resulting in the deaths of three Naval Forces pilots during a live test was leaked to the general populace, and the project died stillborn.
