Power-hungry corsair survivalist. Former member of Omega Pirates Guild, co-founder of The Black Sails, ex-101st Outcast Guard and current pirate of Omega systems. Unorthodox in character as a corsair partly due to cardamine exposure, partly due to his own views on family traditions and Corsair culture. Was known for violent conduct in earlier days before cardamine exposure but at his current state he's more mindful of his own behaviuor.
Early years on Crete
Not much is known about his early days as a corsair. Antonio didn't come from famous or influential family. As a boy and later youngman he changed many different jobs working any kind of labours at different houses. Rumors tell that his criminal record started there once he begun to steal from his caregivers. But soon after initiation ritual Antonio left Crete to Cadiz in search for better life and to take control of his own fate, before anything could be proven against him.
Life in border and edge worlds
After finding refugee in Cadiz base Antonio was quick to adobt a new lifestyle. One of a pirate and soldier at the hessian front. While being inexperienced he was quick to learn how to survive in these hostile worlds. But as his experience grew so did his disattachment from core world of Corsairs. He found himself more loyal to himself than anything else and even starting fights with other corsairs in order to take better hunting grounds for himself. While being somewhat inexpierenced Vilkas made it up with brutality. Corsairs pilots who went missing were assumed to be killed by bretonians or hessians.
This violent behaviuor caught the eyes of the guild which was running Cadiz at the time. Gentle, leader of OPG, was always looking for most ruthless ones. Striving for recognition and more power Vilkas gladly joined the guild where he learned to work with his new teammates, altough he never learned to respect the interest of Corsair nation, ego of his own was marely replaced by mob mentality of the guild. Antonio developed very strong sense of loyalty to the group and it's interests due to feeling of belonging he had never felt before.
Because of these reasons Vilkas took it so hard when Omega Pirates Guild was disbanded. Left with a void, Antonio with few other remnants of the guild founded a new pirate group called The Black Sails. But he didn't had a chance to stay there long due to life changing events which as a result caused him to be exiled and bountied by The Corsair Empire.
Under Outcast Guard flag
In 816 A.S. Antonio Devivar was heavily injured durning the battle at Omicron Eta. Sail members agreed to make an experimental proceedure and transplant organs and tissues of outcast origin in order to preserve his life. Unfortunatly, this caused severe side effects durning his recovery. Being exposed to outcast DNR Vilkas went to severe shock. The only way to recover from it was to be plugged to constant cardamine supply.
This couldn't continue unnoticed for long. Quickly, many corsairs who though of him corrupting the pure corsair bloodline by outcast cardamine wanted him dead for being, what they've called, an abomination. With the help of some loyal to him corsairs Vilkas fled to the Sigmas abandoning his faction and Empire as a whole. Putting blame on Elders and officials who did not only help him back then when he was a youngman, but now wanted him dead for being a casualty of war which he was fighting for to protect the Corsair nation itself.
Angry, injured and alone Vilkas was noticed by Dennis Jameson, current leader of 101st Outcast Guard at the time. Having keen scientific interest in Mr. Devivar Jameson sent his agent to contact him. This started a mutual relationship between two parties. Outcast leader provided the tools and means for Vilkas to survive in hostile environment, while Jameson received an intresting speciement for studies of cardamine effects and a competent, loyal agent in border and edge worlds.
Present
But table turned once again after Jamesons disappearence. Without him backing Antonio, troubled hispanian, found himself unwanted by outcasts. For days he spent time living in Luxury Liner Hawaii. His ship, now broken and with no-one with proper knowledge to maintain it, pervented him from venturing to the border worlds. As being locked in a ship where people of the houses spent their holidays he was left alone to sadly relive his earlier days in the tales he shared with the tourists, intrested to hear about life in harsh, distand and exotic worlds.
That was the case, until Ellias Fernandez met him by accident on the bar of Luxury Liner Hawaii. Both being ex-OPG they quickly found each other on friendly terms. From this point his OPG fellow helped Antonio to carve a window back to Omegas and find his rightful place between the most famous pirates of Omega systems.
