Died Still alive

Frau Sachs, born on the 15th of April, 741 A.S. on planet Stuttgart, on the family farm. Her loving parents, Lothar & Marina Sachs, took care of the farm, producing food for the federal republic of Rheinland. She is currently the president for ALG Waste Disposal. Her parents are both not living anymore, which would be surprising considering Nelly is already of age.

Youth

Nelly Sachs, born on the 15th of April, 741 A.S. on planet Stuttgart on the family farm was a loveable energetic child. She never refrained from helping her parents on the farm. Nelly did show an aptitude for taking care of the farm and the work, however she was frequently spotted from a young age gazing up the sky trying to spot new ships flying past or running away to docking ports to see in- and outgoing traffic. She was moderately calm, never got into trouble with the law, always hard at work at home and at school, had not that many friends, but did maintain good friendship with those she did and she loved to read, she actually had a room filled with books she read and kept collecting them. She preferred the feel of a printed on paper edition then reading everything on data pads or on the neural net as most others would do.

She completed high school and went on ahead to college which opened her up, in a social way and although she enjoyed partying (and was known for her profound love for whiskey) she kept doing great in college.

Besides the occasional boyfriend here and there Nelly never really had a long-term, stable relationship. Though, this did not fit her at this point, but then again, who does around that age?

Adulthood

On her 22nd birthday Nelly acquired the required pilot licenses and completed college, having studied business and psychology. She visited her parents farm as often as she could and around that age she noticed her dad becoming a silent man, not the happy, loving dad she had known throughout her life. She had frequent chats with her mom about this and it became clear that due to her father becoming older and the fields yielding less and less each harvest due to Synth Foods increasing the carbon dioxide on the planet they didn't came by as they used to. Not that the family ever was rich, but because her father and mother always worked themselves on the field and not hiring other people they managed to keep the costs down, which those days became almost impossible to do. With her knowledge on business proposals and such Nelly worked on writing a proposal for a bank for a loan for the farm, to hire fresh blood to aid her father and mother. This succeeded and the continuing of the farm was secured. For now...

After a couple of years flying as a transport captain for several small-time, usually quick out-of-business Rheinland companies she got spotted by an ALG captain on planet Baden Baden, during a holiday in a club. They hooked up and after just 8 months they got married, much to the pleasure of her parents. She was 26 by then. Her husband, Abel Sachs, loved the outdoors and tried to spend as much as time as he could hiking and camping. Nelly, with her farmers background, enjoyed these trips and during those times Abel convinced her in joining ALG Waste Disposal, as he noticed her love for nature and preservation, key elements for most ALG employees.

Quickly rising in ranks Nelly commanded a fleet containing a crew of 700 people, with her specialized task in joining in on contract discussions, having knowledge on the various needs by other companies. She kept learning everything regarding ALG and showed interest in a higher position, which didn't go unnoticed.

At the age of 34, having birthed one son, Felix Sachs, she noticed the impact Synth Foods had on planet Stuttgart and her family's farm. It led to her starting to think about how to disrupt Synth Foods and get them to be banned from Rheinland space by the Bundestag by other means than taking up arms personally. However, her dad beat her to it and joined the quite recently emerged LWB, also known as the Landwirtrechtbewegung. This causing a lot of grief to her mother, who did understand the reason why Lothar joined the LWB, but was left on the farm as she had no intention in joining the cause, being the pacifist she was.

With the farm in debts, Lothar gone and Nelly busy with her career in ALG, Marina sold the farm to Synth Foods, the only company willing and able to buy up the land and bought an apartment on planet New Berlin where she quickly met another man, a dentist, after she filed in a divorce with Lothar, who never replied and is presumed K.I.A.

Veteran

With time and work Nelly acquired a personal wealth capable of living worried free. The desire to buy back the family farm, although with less actual farm plots became so strong she contacted Synth Foods. After long negotiations she managed to buy back the farm, for a whole lot more than her mother had received when selling it, but atleast it was back in the family once more. She hired a contractor and had the farm completely rebuild in original style but with modern influences and hired a landscaper for the garden where she is usually to be found, sitting on her chair overlooking her flowers and plants, usually accompanied by her books and whiskey.

At the age of 76, Nelly got promoted, by a majority of the votes by the board of advisors and shareholders, president for ALG Waste Disposal. Her profound enthusiasm for ALG and fighting spirit, alongside with a remarkably resistance of becoming impaired due to her age were the words muttered for her promotion.

Unfortunately, due to sickness she had to step back and promote Frederick Von Kleinz to president after a period of 3 months into her position. She remained in the background, but forced to regain her strength in Campus Berlin Buch, the hospital on the Lindenberger Weg on planet New Berlin.

After a long, yet successful recovery she took up some holidays she hadn't used and toured around Sirius, visiting Elizabeth Schmidt, honorary life-time advisor and former president, of whom she was the successor, on planet Curacao, enjoying the scenery and the weather.

Not that long before her 79th year in Sirius she got contacted by headquarters explaining her that Frederick has gone missing, and if in the time being she could come back to her former position. She agreed and set course to Wuppertal Refinery, where she holds her offices.
