"Terrain Features"

How about having a section for those "terrain features" like nebula, asteroid field etc? It would bring flavor to the article. --Looqas 07:21, 17 September 2008 (GMT)

I was considering that, but there are things that should probably be discovered as well. If a section like that goes in, every joe blogs will add every single little space thing in there. I'm still thinking on this one. I have a funny feeling Igiss would be against it. I dont know if having a section like that is a good idea or not. I can see benefits to having it in, and benefits to leaving it out.Chovynz 04:57, 18 September 2008 (GMT)
I see your point. Maybe just embed them to text when appropriate. Is the System guide finished yet? If so then "Yeah!". Most of the needed pages are systems. And maybe a link to Example page would be nice like in Planet style guide? Now it's a bit confusing is New York the one or maybe Cambridge. --Looqas 06:03, 18 September 2008 (GMT)

I made a draft for Dresden, but then when I was looking at the template I ran into some problems: The Wild are there also. They fit a bit badly under "unlawful" category. So what should be done? Also, we do not have any "individual" place for text describing the system at all. Some info about the history and surroundings of the system (when found, heavily polluted because... etc.) And a "See Also" section would be nice. Maybe. What I miss most is the text part. Without it looks too clinical and does not allow sneaking a scenery picture into it. I think a picture of the scenery sets a mood for the system. (--Looqas 12:38, 19 September 2008 (GMT)

Standard practice for text information is at the top. There is no text for any system currently in game. I wrote something up awhile ago for New York, but it just... vanished one day, due to pilot error I think, after seeing that no other system had text either.. We could write something up I guess. Run them past the infocard people then submit them to Igiss. If you've seen the System Guideline you'll see that we'll lots of pictures soon. Maybe too many.
How is Wild any different? Unlawful is a generic term. It's not really suitable for lots of things but it's what every criminal/terrorist/criminal/semi-legal organization or group falls under. Any ideas to improve it?
"See also" for what purpose?Chovynz 20:46, 19 September 2008 (GMT)

Attention All

I changed the example system to point to New York, so people will not follow and copy paste the old New London "template". --Looqas 03:46, 15 November 2008 (MST)
