"- The trust shown to the treacherous gives him the opportunity to harm."
(Translation from Latin.)

General information:
"Know what you are fighting for."

Sixth Liberty Navy Fleet was recreated by Michael Blackburn, as protection of Liberty's border systems, as well as for a more active struggle with the Gallic invaders. Initially, the fleet was planned as a border crossing, but the situation with Gallia made them change their goals to fight the common enemy of Bretonia, Liberty and the Anti-Gallic Union.

This fleet has its own objectives, which are aimed at the following:
  • Fight against the Gallic invaders by any means.
  • Protection of systems bordering Liberty, such as: Magellan, Cortez, Kepler, Gallileo, Hudson and Bering to maintain Liberty's sovereignty.
  • Active fight against piracy, separatism and revolutionaries to maintain the morale of Liberty Navy forces.

History:
"Through hardship to the stars."

6th Liberty Navy Fleet was created in 820 A.S. as an aid to defending the borders of Liberty and Kusari - at the time of tensions, it was required to increase Liberty's military strength in that region so as not to get hit in the back. At that time, Admiral Donell was commander of the fleet until 821 A.S..

In 821 A.S., the fleet collided with the forces of Kingdom of Gallia on Liberty's border systems in the Magellan area - Sixth fleet was transferred to California, since the tension with Kusari was slightly facilitated, but in California additional forces were needed to support the defensive force of the border troops. At that time, the fleet did not suffer serious losses, however, the losses themselves were, which made it necessary to prepare for the worst.

In the next half of 821 A.S., fleet undergoes a series of battles with Gallic Royal Navy on border system - in Magellan. Gallic Royal Navy fleet went into a full offensive, which led to serious losses in the fleet. Instead of patching holes in the fleet, the Admiralty decides to disband the fleet and redirect some of the former fleet members to the main fleet, the secondary fleet, and so on. Those who are unlucky have chosen their own way: someone returned to the fleet, someone decided to flee the war, and someone decided to meet the war, sharing his fate with pirates or separatists, revolutionaries.

In 822 A.S., the fleet returned to its primary task of protecting the bordering Liberty systems from threats: the command provides an energetic, but still not very professional Michael Blackburn, the opportunity to form a fleet. Thanks to the diligent actions of Michael, the fleet manages to return in part: some of them are old men, and the other part is simple beginners, some of whom even "did not smell gunpowder." Fleet again returned to protect the interests of Liberty.

In the second half of 822 A.S., 6th fleet faces many joint battles against Gallia - Liberty's ally is represented by Bretonia, who was subjected to serious attacks by Gallia at that time. There was a war for the Leeds system, which could determine the chances of Bretonia and her allies in the war against a common enemy and predetermine the outcome of the war. So, the fleet begins to wage battles against Gaul in the Leeds system. Initially, the battle is really effective, but after a while, Gallia strengthens his presence, and also shows the tactical skills of the fleet, which causes significant losses to the forces of Liberty and Bretonia. Speaking of the forces of Liberty - the sixth fleet was also affected. Most of the ships were lost in these battles, and survivors underwent repairs in Alaska or Norfolk.

At the beginning of 823 A.S., fleet was still being repaired and regrouped. This time there was no active action on the part of the command, and the fleet simply moved to the patrol flotilla fleet of internal systems Liberty - New York, Texas, and so on. The fleet simply ceased to matter to the High Command of Liberty, Michael Blackburn tried to do something, but was refused. The fleet was not needed...

In 824 A.S., fleet was no longer the oldest of its members since the 820 A.S.. Now the fleet had a clean and new squad consisting of people who were ready to fight for the interests of Liberty. Taking advantage of this moment, Michael was able to obtain permission from the High Command to introduce the Sixth Fleet back into operation, as acting. So, the guns are loaded, the ships are tucked in, the crew is ready... 6th Liberty Navy Fleet again comes out in the name of Liberty and until its sunset. This time - forever.

Piloted ships:
"Where is my bird..."

The ships used in the fleet have different classes for performing certain tasks. So, the fleet uses for its purposes the following classes of ships (in descending order in size):

  1. Capital ships (Dreadnoughts, Battleships, Carriers):
    • Liberty "Overlord"-class Dreadnought.
    • Liberty "Atlantis"-class Carrier.
  2. Battlecruisers, cruisers:
    • Liberty "Interdictor"-class Assault Battlecruiser.
    • Liberty "Archer"-class Siege Cruiser.
  3. Gunboats, gunships:
    • Liberty "Defiant"-class Gunboat.
  4. Snubcraft:
    • BDR-845 "Avenger" Liberty Very Heavy Fighter
    • Li-117 Liberty "Upholder" Bomber
    • BDR-804 "Guardian" Liberty Very Heavy Fighter
    • LZF-9805 "Liberator" Liberty Light Fighter
    • WAR-4b "Waran" Civilian Bomber
    • CTE-6000 "Eagle" Civilian Very Heavy Fighter
    • XB-2 "Havoc Mk II" Civilian Bomber

Based on this information, all capital ships are Liberty models and only. We are preparing to exchange technology with the Bretons for additional experience of the military and engineers of both sides. As for smaller ships (starting with gunboats), we can afford to use civilian models, thereby increasing our tactical capabilities.

Tactical capabilities:
"All roads lead to Liberty?"

Sixth Liberty Navy Fleet aims to protect the borders of Liberty, as well as to actively fight against the Gallic invaders. In this we have allies in the form of Bretonnia, where we are preparing to gain a foothold in order to raise the strategic forces of our fleet in that region. At the moment the ships of the fleet can make flights to the following systems:
  • Liberty: New York, Texas, California, Virginia, Colorado, Ontario, Alberta, Pennsylvania, Kansas.
  • Bretonia (only with permission by Bretonia fleet): Manchester, New London, Newcastle.
  • Bretonia (without permission by Bretonia fleet): Leeds.
  • Indepent systems: Hudson, Bering, Gallileo, Kepler, Cortez, Magellan.

Usually, permission from the fleet of Bretonia is only requested if the capital ships are preparing to enter Bretonia space. Otherwise, the fleet can use gunships and less to help Bretonia in their space without permission.

Rank system:
"Bad is the soldier who does not want to become a general."

The ranking system of the sixth fleet is different from the ranking system of the main fleet. Nevertheless, this does not prevent the fleet from working harmoniously, strictly on this system. So, the rank system in the fleet is the following (in descending order):

Admiral: Leading rank. Handles the Fleet's policy, approves and organizes large-scale operations against enemy facilities. Can exclude any ranked personel from the Fleet.
Currently assigned: Michael Blackburn.

Vice Admiral: The Admiral's right-hand. Handles the Fleet's regulations and policies, can approve and organize raids on enemy facilities, as well as to exclude any lower-ranked member from the Fleet.
Currently assigned: Karen Mcintosh.

Colonel: High-ranking personnel and charismatic figure on the field. Can command all ships employed by the 6th Fleet. If the Admiral and Vice Admiral are absent, he can represent the Fleet's High Command on official occasions. Can approve and reject candidates - and can also give orders out.
Currently assigned: -

Major: Top-notch fighter and seasoned leader. Can request full command over all ships employed by the 6th Fleet. Can lead and organize patrols ad raiding actions on his own.
Currently assigned: Lion Ferdinand.

Captain: Seasoned fighter and leader. Can request full command over an Archer-class cruiser, as well as partial command over an Interdictor-class battlecruiser or Overlord-class dreadnought. Can lead and organize gunboat and cruiser patrols on his own.
Currently assigned: Albert Debidand.

Lieutenant: First of the mid-ranks, he has developed leadership. Having being given capital vessel training, he can request partial command over an Archer-class cruiser, as well as commission his own Defiant-class gunboat. Can organize patrols on his own.
Currently assigned: Anna Gibson, Mike Dalborn.

Sergeant: A step above the corporals, it is an expert pilot able to hold his own on the field. He can request partial command over a Defiant-class gunboat. Can lead Privates and Corporals on patrol.
Currently assigned: -

Corporal: The backbone of the 6th, it is allowed to fly a fighters as well as to commission his own bomber. Can lead Privates on patrol.
Currently assigned: Teresa Brooks.

Private: Trial rank for the 6th Fleet, it is allowed to only fly a fighter ship class.
Currently assigned: -

Diplomacy:
"A reliable friend is known in unreliable situations."

For a better understanding of the situation: the fleet is trying to pursue its own policy towards the enemies of Gaul, in order to achieve mutual understanding and joint struggle against a common enemy. However, this does not mean that the fleet will not fire on its allies if they try to inflict damage on Liberty's facilities. It should be noted that the fleet's policy ends in the space of Bretonia, since Bretonia is already another House with its own laws, which must be observed:

  • Union (mutual support):
    Liberty Navy
    Liberty Police, Inc.
    Liberty Security Forces
    Liberty Corporations
    Bretonia Armed Forces
    Bretonia Intelligence Service
    Bretonia Police
    Bretonia Privateers.
  • Friendly (assistance in case of need):
    Bretonia Corporations
    Bounty Hunters
    Anti-Gallic union.
  • Neutral (we do not allow conflicts, but we do not consider them as allies):
    Kusari Corporations
    Kusari Naval Forces
    Kusari State Police
    Rheiland Military
    Rheiland Police
    Rheiland Corporations.
  • Unfriendly (these organizations are better off not appearing on the territory of Liberty):
    Kusari Criminals
    Bretonia Criminals
    Rheiland Criminals
    Gallic criminals (expect The Council).
  • Enmity (all enemies of Liberty must be destroyed):
    Liberty Criminals
    Gallic Corporations
    Coalition
  • At war:
    Gallic Royal Navy
    Gallic Royal Police
    Gallic Royal Intelligence
Please note that this is only a list of the relationship of the fleet to other groups and organizations. If you did not find any grouping, then we advise you to review the diplomacy of the First Liberty Navy Fleet.

ZOI: all systems of Liberty and Bretonia, as well them bordering worlds.

you do realize official Liberty Navy 5th and LN need good reason to go into the heart of Bretonia, so i think you may want to limit your zoi to just Liberty and the war effort of Leeds.
There are some major flaws with your faction that you need to fix asap. Since you seem to be focused on making an anti-GRN faction, why not choose from some other factions that share more ZOI with the GRN? There's Crayter, Bretonia, The Council, and even the Outcasts, all of which have lots of caps and shared ZOI with the GRN.

Yes those factions have lots of caps but those caps aren't already owned.

Please note I'm not in said faction but offering up most likely explanation.
I find it very difficult to believe that even the Liberty Navy has 80 fleets.

Well, firstly, this is my first experience in creating an informal faction.

Secondly, is it meaningful to talk about official factions when it comes to the unofficial?

Thirdly, I will redo the ZOI, because I already understood my mistake.
