Expansion Project

Following the resurgance of the GRG it quickly became apparent many of the IRG assets were no longer available.
This included several support fleets who performed essential roles in realizing and maintaining IRGs stellar performance.
The GRG has decided now is a good time to reform these support fleets, starting with acquiring the required hardware.
Each of these support fleets will be covered in detail in this document; from goal to fleet composition.

The decision has been made to forego conventional Zoner vessels and instead acquire more specialized vessels from other factions.
This decision will allow us to not only benefit from their respective specializations but also prevent any potential negative
reprecussions from our activities towards our fellow Zoners and vica versa.

For security wing Leviathan we have opted for Crayterian vessels in particular.
Their prolonged war with Gallia has ensured their technology is refined for combat
and their resources drained, this should hopefully make them more willing to part
with assets that other organizations might consider too powerful for external parties.
Additionally, striking up a business relation with Crayter could provide fruitful for future endeavors.

Behemoth

Name origin: A mythological creature of ancient times said to be the living embodiment of strength and toughness.

Goal: High priority/security transport, essentially responsible for transporting high value black site materials/products like IRG powercells.

Ziz

Name origin: A mythological creature of ancient times said to rule the skies, exploring every nook and cranny.

Goal: scouting and connecting with (new) mining fields, setting up the prework for the automated drones to come in later
and properly harvest the materials for GRG.

Leviathan

Name origin: A mythological creature of ancient times said to dominate the oceans and cover the world several times over.

Goal: Much like the primordeal creature the wing was named after, Leviathan shall 'coil' itself over Ames, protecting it against any potential threat.

Project Progress Report #1

Contact has been made with several organizations regarding the fleet expansion project.
In this progress report each wing will be covered individually so as to give a proper image
of the current state of affairs with the project.

Behemoth

For project Behemoth contact was initially made with Universal Shipping with the intent of purchasing the logistic vessels required. While unable to help us directly, they were good enough to redirect our attention to a faction that could. As such contact was made with Deep Space Engineering. Following our communication with them we have gone and purchased
the logistic ships. Focus for Behemoth wing will nog redirect to the military aspect of the wing.

Behemoth is currently at 50% of operating capacity, the remaining ships that need to be acquired are:

Ziz

For project Ziz contact has been made with Daumann Heavy Constructions.
Their reaction is still pending, expectations however are that the logistical vessels will be no issue. It remains to be seen if the same can be said for the military
class vessels. Daumann is renown for producing Rheinlands vessels, so the possibility is present.

Ziz is currently at 0% of operating capacity, this is expected to change pending the response of Daumann Heavy Constructions.

Leviathan

For project Leviathan contact has been made with the Crayter Republic.
The republic was very forthcoming in their response, being willing to let us purchase most of the projects ships without objection.
Unfortunately they had to object to the "Thanatos" Cruiser class vessel, this does not come as an unexpected surprise.
They did however, indicate that they might be willing to revisit this if relations improve, as such we have made a counteroffer
that we feel will greatly benefit them.

Leviathan is currently at 0% operating capacity, however transports are on route to deliver the needed materials.
Once the approved vessels finish construction operating capacity will be at 80%.

Behemoth

Project Behemoth has made no further process since the last progress report.

Behemoth is currently at 50% of operating capacity, the remaining ships that need to be acquired are:

Ziz

Project Ziz has made noticable progress thanks to Daumann Heavy Constructions response.The Kaisers and Uruz' will serve their purpose well. Unfortunately
Daumann has indicated they are currently not able to sell us the escort vessels required to keep the transports and miners safe.

Ziz is currently at 50% of operating capacity, this is unexpected to change unless we manage to find a way to obtain the missing fighter vessels.
The remaining ships that need to be acquired are:

Leviathan

We have made remarkable progress with Project Leviathan, obtaining nearly all vessels on the project page except for the Thanatos class cruiser.
Crayters reluctance to part with one of their cruisers, even on comission base, does not come as a surprise so close after the Gallic war.
They have indicated potentially being willing to reconsider their stance in the future should GRG and the Republic grow closer ties through colaboration.

Leviathan is currently at 80% operating capacity, lacking the heaviest gun its arsenal.
The remaining ship that needs to be acquired is:
