Nearby Long Island VINDICATOR engaged the Nomad forces alongside the combined Liberty Navy, Security Force and Outcast fleet. I was on a routine test flight out of 24-2-17-22-14-24 5-18-6-18-14-5-16-21 6-7-14-7-22-2-1 22-1 14-25-14-6-24-14 when I came across a Nomad life form. I followed it in to 2-26-22-16-5-2-1-6
After a while I lost it in a nebula and found a jump gate, I tried to activate it and nothing happened. As I tried to do so, I felt a presence nearby and quickly turned around. As I was powering up my cruise engines, i picked up several unknown contacts on my scanners. I decided there and then I should return home.

I was intercepted by an Order patrol. No hostilities were met. But a Nomad battle group approached. I guess they followed me from the unknown gate. I was impressed by how quickly the Order dealt with this threat. I was in no position to engage such a large ship. I answered their questions and I think my ship got damaged from a shockwave from one of the exploding Nomads, I limped home back to New York.

Combat Report

I was sat in space listening on the airwaves for anything unusual. There was a call about an Outcast Gunship in New York, I hooked up with the LPI and a bounty hunter. They led us into the badlands and their trap was revealed, a few Rogue Gunboats, snub fighters and bombers awaited us. We had superior numbers so I remained on standby, as I didn't want green on green fire. Eventually, I had to enter the fight as a few of the police ships took severe damage and had to retreat.

The whole thing was a stalemate, the original Outcast gunship had managed to escape and lose us in the badlands. We disabled 1 gunship, a bomber and a few snubs. I believe the Outcast has been causing a number of problems in Liberty, his name eludes me however, I will know it when I see it. We need to be more vigilant and I suggest a mission to find where they are staging their attacks from. That is all.

Subject: Smugling operation

At exactly 2352 HRS while on patrol in the Jersey Debris Field in New York i've come across a freelancer. Seeing that he was in a hurry i quickly scanned his cargo hold and found out he had a ship full of sorted artifacts. I was able to stop him and proceeded to start an interrorgation (for more information see attachments). His unusual willinges to cooperate resulted in us gaining information about his supplier's name and location and the location of the drop off point for the contraband. The preliminary interrorgation fruitful for now is just that. Further questioning is required and to that end the person in question was escorted to Planet Manhattan where after landing he was taken into custody by the agency's ground team. He is curently in interrorgation awaiting further questioning.

Suggestions: Taking the freelancer in as an informant
Conduct a more in depth investigation into this smuggling operation using the informant and his knowledge.
Upon a sucesful operation aimed to shut down or infiltrate said smugling operation place the informant under permanent protection.
Conduct a joint investigation with the LPI to uncover the identity of the buyers of the artifacts and bring them to justice.

I was running patrols with Agent Brown. We entered Fort Bush airspace. Agent Callum joined us in space from Fort Bush after we spotted 2 bogies in our sights. One was LH~Sicario and B.Omberman. The former was obviously a Lane Hacker and the latter was a Liberty Rogue. Our original squad mission was to find and report a gunboat spotted in New York and adjacent systems. Agent Callum and I, including an LPI vessel and another green vessel, intercepted the criminals. We took heavy damage due to console and combat malfunctions, and we were subsequently put out of action. The other non-LIA vessels took out B.Omberman but were shot down by LH~Sicario.

Intel Report

I took out my Guardian and hooked up with Sanjo Jiraki. I decided to take out our rookie in to the Omicrons and go Nomad hunting. The mission was almost a bust until we got to Freeport 11, there was a very large Zoner vessel there, impressive to say the least. Also a few Order terrorists holding station, I managed to get scans of their ships and mock them for a while. A Nomad battlegroup full of cruisers headed our way, being in no position to fight them, we made our way home. It does appear that the Nomads are gaining numbers and getting more aggressive, I recommend more missions in to the Omicrons.
