An OMNI security Liberty Cruiser was seen with Xeno fighter wings
attacking Rochester base near Manhattan, Rochester has been under siege
for a week now, an anonymous Bounty Hunter gave us the information
last night.
Gordon Fox did not want to comment about that.
Also, the OMNI battleship Galactus departed from Norfolk Shipyard
today, several OMNI security fighters patrolled the area around
the shipyard while the ship was preparing to depart.
We have also received information from the Bretonian government
that a ship called "The Buccaneer" has destroyed a few bretonian
ships and later on in Tau-31 it blew up Kusari warships.
Some people in Liberty claim that they have seen the Buccaneer come
from the Alaska system and others say it is from an other
galaxy.

FLASHING NEWS!!
It has been confirmed that the Buccaneer is here to cause destruction,
today just outside Cambridge when the capital ship patrols where on
the other side of the planet, the Buccaneer came from above the
planet and starts firing at the nearest target,
it crippled the new SiN|Tech Liberty Carrier so badly it had to flee
its position and sent out maydays while going into cruise speed.
(ooc: D@mn me! Forgot/too lazy to buy CD's, too expensive.)
A Bounty Hunter battleship was also at the scene,
the Buccaneer and a force of HF ships engaged and destroyed it in
less than 30 seconds, the pirate ships left Cambridge as
the Armed Forces patrols arrived in groups.
Later in New London, a Bounty Hunter frigate and an Armed Forces
destroyer was attacked and destroyed by the ruthless pirates.

We have heard that OMNI Industries are creating biological ships
at Willard research station, they call them Biologicals, that is
all we know so far.
No comments from Gordon Fox.
The Liberty Navy has purchased the OMNI battleship Liberator,
its super AI has been reprogrammed and upgraded so
it acts like a real battleship captain, the crew onboard the ship
is a group of engineers who sees to that the AI controlled
repair drones works the way they should.
Liberty Navy general Dreyfus said he was happy with the
investment and looks forward to see her in action after
further hull upgrades and weapon refits at Norfolk shipyard,
Liberty capital ship weapons will replace the old OMNI/FR
"laser pointer" weapons which is getting "out teched" by
the new Liberty capital class main turrets.
Arthur Olstrom the OMNI VP finally agreed on a short interview
with us:
Reporter: "Mr.Olstrom what is OMNI going to do with all
that money? Aren't OMNI already at +217 millions every month?"
Olstrom: "We wanted the navy to have it to get closer relation with them
and for future cooporations."
Reporter: "And what is OMNI's source of income?"
Olstrom: "Let's not get into that, it's a company secret."
Reporter: "We have confirmations that OMNI has stationed a Liberty cruiser
at Rochester the Junker base, is that true?"
Olstrom: *Thinks* "Yes, it's true.."
Reporter: "What is the reason for that siege upon Rochester?"
Olstrom: "We believe the Junkers are dangerous even if they are
simple scrap collectors they are capable of launching attacks
against OMNI convoys that goes between New York and California."
Reporter: "We have also reports that the Junkers are sending
ships from Kreusberg and Trafalgar, what do you have to say"
about that?
Olstrom: "Are they? Means more target practice for our security forces."
Reporter: "Is OMNI supporting the Xenos?"
Olstrom: "Yes, those who haven't committed any crimes are being
trained for our security forces, we are just "decreasing" the number
of Junker ships a bit so that the Xenos don't worries about them."
Reporter: "Any comments about those Biologicals you are developing
at Willard?"
Olstrom: "No."
Reporter: "That was all, thank you for the interview."
Olstrom: "You're welcome.."
More attacks on Cambridge:
The Buccaneer has launched another attack upon SF capital ships,
this time it destroyed the newly produced SF battleship Seagate
along with its Bounty Hunter Liberty Cruiser escort infront of the
Cambridge docking ring, HF and Helghast ships was also present
during the destruction of the Seagate.

Manhattan- Believed to be the work of an unknown freelancer, SiN techs newly constructed Night Plateau Facility was broken into yesterday at 0300 hours. SiN tech personnel believe that the freelancer entered the high security compound and proceeded to steal several crates of SiN tech medical supplies and Side Arms. Additionally, it is believed that the freelancer was able upload classified research information from the facilities computer systems. SiN tech representatives refused to officially comment to CNS reporters about the incident. However, SiN tech does claim that none of its current orders will be delayed due to break in.

We apologize for interrupting the show but we have some
important news from the war front in Tau-31, the pirate
battleship Buccaneer vanished into some kind of worm hole
right in the middle of a daily skirmish between
Kusari and Bretonian forces, we got seperate
reports from KNF and BAF:
KNF's version: The small battleship that destroyed many of our
patrols was crushed by our mighty battleships, we captured
thier captain and sent him to Tokyo, the rest of the crew was executed.
Thanks to the KNF commander of the Kusari invasion fleet for the...great story.
CNS reporter: That was the KNF version, but BAF's is totally something else.
BAF's report: We scanned the "Buccaneer" when it first entered
Bretonian space and it had absolutely NO sign of lifeforms
and still was capable of firing at civilian ships, so we think
there was an AI in control of the ship or robots since we did
picked up alot of movement inside the ship.
The Buccaneer was sucked into a worm hole in combat,
that was the last time we saw it.
Kusari's version is all lies, don't believe in ANYTHING they say because
it's all made up by the KNF generals!

*All right, normally I try to keep IC all the time, but this warrants an exception.
First off, Night Plateau is on Planet Cambridge, not Manhattan.
Second, Night Plateau is vast. We're talking about a facility that spans miles, requiring it's own tram and transportation system to get from one end to another.
Third, you're saying that one man robbed it? Impossibility in and of itself. One man might be able to rob a convenience store, but a facility like Night Plateau? It would take an all-out assault to enter by force, and then you would have to deal with the 'Superior' in orbit (A Liberty Carrier, by the way). Not to mention the cameras, automated defenses, air-lock doors, retina/thumb-print/voice/pass-card locks on all important doors, and a guard force the size of a small army that is equipped like one as well.
Fourth, the computer system is rather difficult to hack into. Without trying to sound god-playing, it would take days to hack it (which would be noticed within hours) or it would take the skills of someone with abilities close to that of, say, the Phantoms.
Fifth, let us assume that this one man managed to get in and steal all this stuff. How would he carry out "several crates of medical supplies and small arms," each crate being rather large and heavy?
You know, if you want medical supplies and small arms, SiN Tech is perfectly happy to sell. It's easier, and in the long run cheaper.*

O well, I was just trying to get people involved. Nothing more nothing less. I was hoping this would develop further but I guess not. Points taken into account. I'm not going to argue with you. I simply wanted to get some RP stuff going that could transfer over to the game and get some of the new people involved.
PS: The CNS simply was reporting from Manhattan. Sorry if i did not make this clear. Also, Sorry about making the facility robbed by only one freelancer I was simply not watching what I was doing. (I had to write quickly because of "real life" issues)
Umm, well SiN|Tech lost a whole facility to 3 people, then were made to look like fools when those three people blew a chunk out of your hanger bays..
I say one could steal a few, non-expensive items and get out again..

*Correction, SiN Tech lost -part- of a facility to three people. And blowing out of hanger bays... That is easily fixed, actually. Plus it's a lot easier to do damage from the inside then from the outside. Not so much of fools, but you did deal a blow.
And, to be fair, you were three people. It is possible, highly unlikely but possible, for three people to attack a facility. Besides, we are talking about Jessica, Blade, and JC here. Main characters from games tend to be just a little larger-then-life.*
Okay, I'll "demonstrate" their flying abilities. Just need to decide on a ship.. One will be a freighter, then 2 fighters. And a gunboat. ID I don't know.. Might just be neutral.
