Earlier today while in the Tau-23 system, myself including Blackbriar, Zulu, Blue, Nolet, and Golds 3 and 4 intercepted Transport Zeta, as we suspected him of smuggling contraband.



We cut off the transport at the jump hole to Tau-37 where he was forced to stand down, cut his engines and lower his shields, to prepare to be boarded - even though Blackbriar's scans detected no contraband on board.



Blackbriar ordered Zulu and Blue to board and search the ship, in case any contraband was hidden. After a thorough search, both Zulu and Blue reported back no contraband on board. The ship was left to proceed on through.

Update on the cruiser battle.

Soon after the Cruiser The_Hellraiser was destroyed and his support vessels as well , We pick up on the radar another contact 10k south from the original battle site.

It was an Outcast vessel callsign Enyalius . After a few words i engage having as wing =CR=Green-4 and Tyrant , an IMG indie. Even from the first minute of the fight we were able to see that he is packing heavy weapons and try to destroy the Gunboat and i also receive a message from Tyrant asking me if i can destroy one of the Outcast torpedoes .

After my affirmative answer i prepare the computer to lock on torpedo and preparing the CD for that job . A few seconds later i had the chance and i fire the result was one Outcast ship turn to scrap metal .

Mr. President, I come bearing, well oddly enough, good news.
If you recall our informal alliance with the Corsair Nation as a whole, particularly the Benitez, Brotherhood, and Omega Pirates clans, and if you recall how little has actually come of the alliance lately, and it slowly being forgotten, you will be glad to see that steps are being taken to renew that same alliance.

Yesterday, while our pilots were on duty in Tau 23, the Benitez clan's Don Carlos Benitez contacted me over private communication channels and notified me that a Benitez convoy carrying various commodities including military equipment in the form of their Tizona weapons would be on it's way towards our territory.

Due to the short notice, and the lack of proper welcoming organization, we agreed to keep the convoy simple, and make it only a prelude of what will be a series of large shipments of goods and weaponry from their side to ours, and niobium and food from our side to theirs.

Their convoy embarked from Omicron Gamma, and went through the Omegas and Bretonia in order to get to our territory.
We planned to meet them at Holman and then guide them back through the rest of our territory to Java.

The whole of Bretonian space was, as it is to be expected, riddled with Bretonian patrols who were one step behind the Corsair convoy all the way.
We arranged a diversionary action in Edinburgh including two of our Nyxes who pretended to be attacking the Bretonians and who held them off long enough for the convoy to safely pass to Tau 31, and after which the diversionary wing feigned a "retreat out of despair" back to Tau 31.

From Tau 31 we greeted the Corsairs heartily, and it was obvious both sides were delighted steps for the renewing of our alliance were being taken.
They were taken to Tau-23, and in orbit of Java the whole exchange went through.
They supplied us with a large number of various commodities which were transferred to the Ketel1, and a fairly large supply of Tizona Del Cids to our armory designated Mercurius.
In turn, we supplied them with a fair quantity of our niobium, for free, of course.
After a couple of hours of talk aboard Java, the Corsairs felt it was time to go, and although we extended our hospitality and offered a few day stay at Minato's Luxury Suites, they refused due to having important business to attend to, as we all understand, knowing what an incredible job and feat it is to maintain a nation.

I recommend that we make this not the last, but merely first in a series of events with which we shall strengthen our relations with the Corsairs. The decision lies with you, Mr. President.

When me and The Narvie deployed to the Tau-23 system, to catch smugglers. we came across against a junker(.:j:.Golden Verginia) smuggling Cardemine.
we told him to drop. but he was only dropping 1 at the time. to stall time so the outcast could save him.
unfortunatly for him we didn't buy it. and killed him before they arrived. however the outcasts still came shortly after and it escalated into a fight.
2 bombers(Tom Dangerfield, {SOB}Salvador.Perez), 1 sabre(Rafael.Fernandez[101st], vs 1bomber(me and my navigator), 1gb (the narvie).

we took down 1 bomber(Tom Dangerfield) with my SNAC, but amazingly the SAME junker apeared with 1 more Bomber( ){DW}(-Dracus ) AND a GB(baron_fel). luckly one of ours 1 Nyx( =CR=Gold-4) arrived.
as a well known error in the outcasts Brains, the bomber ( ){DW}(-Dracus ) destroyed hes OWN mate ( SOB}Salvador.Perez).
little bit after, he probably understood hes failure, and decided he can't live like this, so he commited suicide.
Unfortunatly our GB(The narvie), was taken with him.
little bit after =CR=Gold-4 was taken out bye Rafael.Fernandez[101st].
so i had to do a part alone, mostly dodging. untill 2 of our Nyx's came ( =CR=Hellboy, =CR=Baal).
when they arrived, and =CR=Hellboy gave m some of his nanobots, to keep me alive, we took down the GB(baron_fel) with my SNAC.
so it was the Sabre alone vs 2 Nyx's and 1bomber. Unfortunatly, he got backup, by yet another GB, i lost track of his name. and my ship got destroyed by the sabre, while aiming the GB. when we had reinforcements aswel. thy had another more Reinforcements. ones they arrived
they were to storng for us. they killed =CR=Batwa,=CR=Baal. because we we're now unable to in against there amount and there GB. our last Survivor retreated.

This is Captain Narender Coulibali of the Colonial Remnant Trader Tuareg.

Today, at approximately 3:15 am, the Tuareg was destroyed by pitate attack in the New York System, only 10 K away from plannet Manhattan. I have the sad duty to report the death of two of its crew members, specialist Vera Cottensock, and Chief Orenthal Jeremy Sampson.
The infamous Lanehacker thug Phate, accompanied by an individual whose name began with Saronson and another large transport ship, disrupted the last tradelane leading from Colorado gate to Manhattan. The pirates demanded I drop the entire load of nimobium I was carrying, and started shooting randomly at the Tuareg.
While I was politely inquiring on their mental state, a lone LPI fighter bravely engaged the 3 pirates. In the ensueing firefight, the Tuareg was completely destroyed.
The cremation ceremony will take place Tuesday, 11 am at Port Minato. As a presonal request, I would like to add the names of our fallen friends and commerads to the armor plating of the succesor ship of the Tuareg, the Tuareg.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss, and I cannot help but feel outrage for the pirates that did this.

I assure you I will take appropriate diplomatic steps to either ensure neutrality with the Lane Hackers, which is not very probable, and if that fails, I shall formally request from the military that a fighter wing from our tactical squadron be dispatched to avenge the deaths of your crewmen and end the life of the pirate known as Phate.

**Ship's-log and mission debriefeing of Captain Coulibali of the Colonial freighter Tuareg, Minato Harbor**

Captain N. Coulibali reporting back from the Tuareg Mk 2's first mission.

My crew and I are overjoyed and proud that the first mission of the Tuareg's successor ship was the rescue of 3732 slaves in the Tau 37 system. Lieutenant Santal 'Barja' Atreides and his wing had intercepted a slaveship, and called in the Tuareg to bring the liberated people to safety. As I speak, they are de-barking on Minato Harbor where they can contact their famillies and loved ones.
In spite of this good news, I must voice my concern over a number of developements that have been observed by me and several other Colonial Remnant ships. The stand we are making against slavery and the cardamine plague in the Tau systems has undoubtedly brought us the trust, support, and may I say respect of many independant miners (even if the guildmasters seem somewhat out of touch with this), but it has also attracted the attention of some, shall I say 'men of lower moral fabric'.
One manifestation of this may be the unreasonably high ransom the lanehacker thug 'Phate' is asking from our freighters, which may be linked to his contacts to the scum in Omicron Alpha. Another are the seemingly organized hordes of pirate vessels which ambush our fighter wings form time to time. It appears that the deficits in cardamine and slaves we are making them experience are causing an increasingly irrational, hateful, and cruel behaviour on their part. The generous offers of Colonial Viper pilots that the smugglers may return the cardmine they carry to Omicron ALpha to save their lives have often been met by disdain, and subsequent revenge attacks.
I recommend, therefore, that these concerns be brought before the Quorum of 12, so that they may devise a strategy to overcome the vicious cycle of violence, cardamine, and slave trade, and prepare for options of more severe retaliation for the case of more attacks on our ...

Ten or more Outcast ships have just breached Colonial defenses at the Tau 23/44 jumphole. Preliminary reports suggest an all out frontal assault on our home system by the Outcasts.
I am accelarating evacuation of the refugees and re-assigning the Tuareg's gunnery crews for the defense of Minato. Fleet command is scrambling reserve Nyx fighters. We can do this!

So say we all!

After undocking from Java station to start the patrol , another Colonial vessel undock.It was =CR=Tapion and with him we start the patrol of the Tau 23 System.
The first part of the patrol was without major incidents but soon we pick up on scanners a junker ship , callsign Lucius.Vorenus(XIII) and in his cargo there was several thousands of slaves.
After asking him to drop ,and his radio silence i order the wing to fire and soon the Junker ship was down .
The saved slaves have been returned to Minato from where they could contact their families and to take the nearest IMG Tranport to their worlds.


The second smuggler that was spotted was a Firefly vessel , callsign Shadow-Talon.In his cargo there was 3500 cardamine but he manage to dock at the Cali base pretty fast and call for Outcast Protection.

LT Santal "Barja" Atreides Update file.

On our daily patrol we encounter in Tau 23 an Outcast force .The Outcast group was formed from 2 Gunboats and 1 Sabre and the Colonial forces was formed from 2 Bombers (me and =CR=Blackbriar).
After we tell the Outcasts to disperse from Tau 23 we were engage by them and with a few lucky shots we manage to destroy one Gunboat ( Night-Talon) but soon after we destroy him our ship got heavy damage from Outcast fire and we were forced to eject .

After the unfortunate incident with my previous Nyx,I used all the cash I got to get me a new one.
It's first flight was earlier today.
It went good,very good.
In the begining it was all quiet...only a fellow Miner was peacefully doing his job.
After I decided to check Tau-37,something strange happened.
A male voice was heard over the comm:
"Engaging Ceeaaar!"
About 15 second after that I found myself in a bad position,surrounded by 2 sabres.
Rafael.Fernandez from the [101st] and some scum named Apolo_Y,plus a Outcast recruited who was afraid to attack me.
After 2 minutes of fighting the poor Rafael tested his own missiles,twice.

Sadly,my engines were disabled by Apolo...he proved to be a skilled pilot...amazingly...

I found myself drifting arround the freeport.Good thing that IMG trader showed...
