Dear Fleet Command!

As i am sure you was all wondering what happend with my Viper MkII "Wavemaster". The story is quite fascinating, as i want you to know where i was past 2 years.

As i was patroling system Tau 31, my long range scanners showed some sort of anomaly, so i got closer to scan it more clearly. As i cruised towards it coordinates it seemed that it was some sort of jumphole that just appeard. As i was at 10K distance i activated full scan sweep on all known channels. As i was ready to send info to command, my ship began to move towards this strange jumphole.

I was trying to thrust with full engines away form it, but i was cought by its gravitational field and could not bail out of it. As i was sending data of my last position to nearest colonial ship, dont think that was sended due to high gravimetric disturbance. My system began to fail, one after another, even saw some hull plates separating from ship as i was pulled into this large wormhole.

I could eject, but that would be stupid thing to do, since it was crushing my ship hull.

last thing i remember was that weapons panel hitted me in head and i past out as did my oxygen tanks compressed. So my ship was pulled inside of this wormhole, i thougt it was mini blackhole, but for my luck it was not.

my ship was spit out on other side of this jumphole and i fonded myself in barely moving ship, wings torn apart, with only 1 impulse engine runing.
Farther away i could see some strange large planetes and lt of ships flashing infront of it. So i assume there is battle, and sended distress call.

After couple of hours bearly breathing with mask, one large ship came near me and engaged some sort of blue wide beam with green lasers.
i guess that was their scanning device, after short flashing i could see they opend their hangar gates and pulled me inside.

Then when i woke up i founded myself in some sort of bed, in chamber full of light. My wounds was gone and i had slight amnesia to events. Then i looked my arm and saw some sort of bracer, i assumed it was sort of medical device. As i stood up my eyes recognized shadow in farther corner of room, looked human like, so i greeted it.

Shadow was gone for few seconds and then stood right before me...
it was human like creature with white armor that was glowing.
So i asked where i am, and who they are. i was told i founded myself planetary system Novus, and their race is called Cora. So i asked about the battle that i saw.

Karl Trax: excuse me, but what was that battle all about?
Cora Priest: it is prolonged war among us bellato federation and acrettian empire.
Karl Trax: huh? bellato federation and acretian empire?
Cora Preist: Two aother races that we must fight to gain control over precius mining materials at planet. But those materials are guarded by monster wich kills every1 that enters mines. But our ancestors maneged to gain control over this monster for few hours by controlig his mind by chip. and for that chip we fight, cose form minerals at mines we get very powerfull items and weapons.

Karl Trax: ah...still bit confusing....So this battle just in skys?
Cora Preist: No main battle is on ground of planet, each race has established his command town, and form there we move towards mines.
Karl Trax: very intrasting...but can you tell me what do i have on my arm?
Cora Preist: it is magiccal bracer with runes and talic that boost creatures energy and regeneration. You can keep it.
Karl Trax: Thank you. So do you know anything about that jumphole i managed to survive?

Cora Preist: Yes, rather intrasting fenomena, how robotic battleship came to this system to, as akretians are robots of vast power and technology.
Karl Trax: i see, but can you help me repair my ship?
Cora Preist: not sure we have nesecary parts, we need to study your technology first. but you can go to speak to engineers about it.
Karl Trax: Right, where do i got?
Cora Preist: Ill teleport you to their main ship module.
Karl Trax: uhm... ok i guess

With that preist spoke some unkown words and i was sourounded by light rings and teleported to engenering.

But unfortunate ship was being attacked by robots, and i was looking to get some cover. i managed to curl under some boxes, as ship began to dive towards planet.....

>>>>>>Alert<<<<<<
All personnel prepare for emergency landing!

Not again i thought....

But there it was, i prayed our Gods that we survive....

As seconds passed by, ship shaking.... i hear was silence and then very rough bang, as we colided with surface.....

At east we landed near their HQ in swamp....

Scouting party came fast, so fast i never see any1 run like that. They summoned some magic creatures to heal injured race members. but on way to HQ, we encountered few monsters, that was just vaporized by mages.

As i saw their HQ, i was pretty fascinated by architectural style of this race. SInce i was first human they encounterd in long time, i was being taken to their Race manager, something like our president. As i was escorted to it, i saw very diffenet kind of lookin race members, almost every1 had diffrent armor and some glowing weapons. As be walked into big room in center was this divine creature, hoovering in rays of light..

Cora Race Manager: Come closer stranger echoed in room....

So i came near it, it was quite fascinating image, i was like a small midget comparing to this creature.

And then it reached his hand and place it on my shoulder.....after few moment it looked at me..

Cora Race Manager: You are very far away form home stranger, your ship wrecked, unable to send message to your people...
I will order Scientists to research your technology, and them team of engineers will try to repair your ship...

So as u know it took quite a while to produce me needed parts.... in tha time i was exploring their planet surface, flora and fauna. Even made notes and sketches to show you.

But almost once per week you could hear Race Leader words storming in air that battle is here...i stayed clear of it, as i did not know anything about their way of fight....

Sometimes you could feel earthquakes and flaming sky of droped nuklear devices during war....

I met quite intrasting race members, very magic bound species.

Sometimes i looked form ships those robots. as i was told they had very powerfull weapons, launchers, calld that when hitted target ground shaked form explosion....

So time has come and they repaired my ship with my help, they even installed some their components, that you can study, to improve our ships. But almost year passed and no worholes near planet, i was getting skeptical a bit, but did not loose any hope...

So i woke up and i get message that wormhole has been spotted, simmilar size and disturbances as one i come in...

So i rushed to portal and beamed to they ship in space, ready to fly again.
So i got close to wormhole , shutted my engines, this time my hull did hold, no tanks exploded, and i was entering wormhole...

Surprisingly i got into tau 39 system, so soon i got lear form that wormhole i sended distress call.

And few weeks later hot picked up by colonial fleet, and escorted to our home base...

Well new improved ship, and new guns are ready for service once again...

As i woke up in my cabin, i walked to stations bar for warm cup of coffe, just as i grabbed my cup, red lights started to flash inside station. And then i hear that outcast ship is spotted 5 clicks out of Station, and squadron is ready to being dispached to see his intentions...

So i hurry to hangar bay number 2, fueld my Nxy, checked all systems for combat preparation, and tested all weapons if they work properly. As i was undocking station my sensor was picking up Sabre VHF with outcast designation named "Corp".
So well just looked like when i listen comm channels that he pirated transporter ship just before i undocked.

So i open comm channel to him and said to leave system, as all cardamine sniffers he refused so i engaged my cruise engines and come closer to him, engaged my weapons online...

Warned this fellow few times, but he just said "come and get me". So i did opened fire at him, after few minutes of fight he started to run to fill his shield, but i managed to aim him quite well as he lacked some manuovering skills, in about 30 seconds later his ship was burning in flames, and he ejected with escape pod toward Tau-37 jumphole....

My damage was minimal, and headed back to Java for minor repairs.

Today at 1:20 SMT, i received a call for help at Java. Moving out from T-44, i encountered at least two LC pilots and Red-3 around Java, using it's turrets for cover fire, while three members of the Cartel were encroaching around. A playfully banter with their leader, a Don.Starkiller, we continued to see more and more reforces arriving to their side. I also sent a distress signal too, but alas, no response.
Soon, me, Red-3 and a remainder LC pilot were surrounded by two Tridentes, two Falcatas and a Sabre. I've noticed that the Cartel uses a lot the Tridente, and after some.. interrogation in FP6 of a cardi dealer, i have found out that this.. Don, is one of the most prolific Tridente captains.
So.. With that intel and against the odds we came against, i have ordered Red-3 and the LC pilot to stay in position and not to be drawn by them.
Some minutes later and some careful probe use, the information of heavy outcast numbers were present in T-37. And so i knew that if we attacked, the now silent, Cartel men, we would have probably 15 tangos around us.
So, i continued to banter away, playfully with the Don, exchanging insults (My favourite was the one i said: "The outcast isn't talking to you Don. He said:'Hello Outcasts.'.. You're not a Outcast. Far from it.. Employee.)
After a while they got fed up and left.. With several promises of pain and death, and insults to the Colonial Remnant Fleet.
My blood boiled as also the nugget, that kept his cool instead of my pure rage. Good nugget though, he will become a fine addition to our fleet.
My rage was mixed with a sense of impotence, because of their overwhelming numbers and vessel types. So, i started to think.
Where could i hit them the most, and how will i get away alive from it? And the answer for the first question came easily, destroy the cardi convoys.
The second one wouldn't be that easy. So i had to make due with only me and Red-3, has the LC pilot had already left. The only answer would be to think out of the box. I was looking at the fields of T-23, where i hunted so many pirates that had destroyed defenseless miners.
Pirates. How a pirate can work against us? Simple. Guerrilla style. So i adopted the pirate way of engaging a enemy.
The Cartel is mainly based on T-23, Cali base. And we know that the convoys work around 29, 23 and 37.
So i drawn a tactic to counter the Cartel effective attack and then applied it.
We got a cardi pusher on 29, ordered him to stop and submit to a cargo scan (CRP44-A73-01). We ordered him to drop the cardimine (5000 units), which he didn't complied. We destroyed it with a clean attack (CRP44-A73-02), and destroyed the cardimine in sight (CRP44-A73-03).
Now.. To explain the tactic i employed.
The main strong point of Cartel in 23, is that they have a base there (with increased automated turrets) and that they can get reinforcements from the outcasts in a very short time. Plus they overpowered us at the moment with the present vessels.
How to counter act it? Simple. We destroyed the convoys on 29, a rough 8k's from the Baffin jump-hole. Then after it's destruction, we moved to the 31 jump-hole, and used probes near the 23 jump-hole to detect their arrival in-system. As they entered, we jumped to 31, and proceeded to Holman Outpost. With the KNF battleship nearby and destroyer patrols, no outcast would be a fool to engage in a Tridente in that area. After we detected their jump on 31, we returned to the 29 jump hole (this problem wasn't a KNF or IMG problem in my point of view), and proceeded to 29 once more. This all in order to ware them down in a pursuit.
Positioned near the Freeport, we used the NFZ to our benefit and managed to wait, again engaged in a banter with the don, until..
The heavy guns appeared. A KNF patrol managed to arrive at the scene and engaged the outcast party. In all that confusion, me and Red-3 evaded from the NFZ, and proceeded to 31 once more(CRP44-A73-04). But this time, our path would lead us to 37. I myself flew to 37, and Red-3 stayed near Java for his safety and to keep an eye on the T-37 jump hole.
Once more, the Cartel followed me there, and i entered in 39, laughing my head off once more, and returned to 23. The now wary Cartel decided to travel to Alpha, and me and Red-3 resumed our patrols. Me on 29 to cut off slavers, and Red-3, providing up to date intel on cardi convoys.
Red-3 even managed to stop another one, and the destruction of 2750 more units of cardimine. Alone. I propose a commendation for his exceptional duty. (CRP44-A73-05)

All in all, we destroyed two of their cardimine transports, 7.750 units of cardimine and evaded destruction in one patrol.
My firm belief that we can redefine our tactics concerning this new enemy and incorporate it with our LC allies.
Cutting the transports on 37 and 29 would be devastating to the Cartel business and would be an eye opener to their drug-headed employers.. A firm cardi convoy KoS, and a no engagement whatsoever to deny them of their much needed kills to justify their work..
All with the guerrilla style.

With my regards,
Fl.Lt. Kaze Dagon.

-- Addendum 01 --

After filling this report, i was travelling through T-23 to head to Sulawesi for some shut eye, when out of the blue appears yet another cardimine transport (CRP44-A73-06).
So i stopped him and ordered him to drop his cardimine (CRP44-A73-07). Another 5000 cardimine destroyed (CRP44-A73-08).
3 transports and a grand total of 12.750 cardi units lost to our weapons today. The Cartel is running out of business.

With my regards once more,
Fl.Lt. Kaze Dagon.

Greetings, here's the recount of today engagement's and situations.
As i started my patrols on T-23, i detected a cardimine transport traveling through. As i ordered him for a routine cargo scan, he didn't stopped. Following his vessel, we arrived at Kyushu. One of my problems is that my Nyx doesn't have Train Cruise Disruptors so i constantly ordered him to stop after a positive cardimine scan (CRP44-A74-01).
Asking for assistance in our Colonial Main channel, 1st Lt. James Nibbler replied and got himself on the way. As he was almost at our position, the transport pilot finally ceased the running and surrendered the cardimine that i destroyed immediately (CRP44-A74-02).
The following log transcript is testament of that (CRP44-A74-03).
Right after this occurrence we were summoned by Flight Captain James Atreides in the Amphion, as he was contacted by an IMG miner, named Mussle, because of a outcast pirate. As me, Nibbler and the Amphion engaged the outcast with the transponder name Tok (CRP44-A74-04), he quickly set it on the run, but neither 1st Lt. James Nibbler or Flight Captain Atreides let him escape from our guns which culminated on a magnificent blast (CRP44-A74-05).
Later on, still on patrol with 1st Lt. James Nibbler and Flight Captain Atreides we detected and scanned a vessel containing slaves, that even with several commands to halt and drop his cargo, jumped to T-37.
As the slaver, with the transponder name of {POZ}Char_Aznable, arrived at T-37 we proceeded to engage, which we destroyed quite easily (CRP44-A74-06). The following comm log's shows our communication and posterior slave salvation operation, which we delivered to the Falklands (CRP44-A74-07, CRP44-A74-08, CRP44-A74-09).

After a hearty lunch with both the Flight Captain and the 1st Lt. at Java, i was diverted to a Kusari Imperial Guard distress call on Kyushu. Which arrived not a moment to soon. The Imperial Guard gunboat Naginata was engaging a [XTF]Hernan.Cortez that as i arrived to the scene also had a Tridente as support, with the transponder name Ronter. After a good battle, (i also noticed that the Kusari Gunboat is really hard to hit due to it's profile), i managed to down the Tridente (CRP44-A74-10) and not even a second later, the [XTF] ran away has he could to T-23 and then to Cali. I hope this service to the Imperial Guard will help to solidify our diplomatic relations with the Kusari Government.

Later on, and a few patrols more, we were a full wing that encountered three Union Corse bombers preying on a miner. Soon after arrived a wing of 101st, lead by the drone of Jameson, the 101st Administrator. As the Union Corse bombers fled the scene after some talks, the engines of the Tisiphone malfunctioned and i was forced to leave her in the dry dock for several hours. My Nyx was still undergoing repairs at Java from the previous encounter. Please refer to other reports to that engagement.

As finally, the Tisiphone engines were back online, i started to finish my patrols, and was hailed by an EA. A Bounty Hunter company. As he offered his services to me, i managed to detect another slaver vessel, transponder name John[tr], heading to Alpha. I ordered him to stop and submit to a cargo scan, which he didn't complied. After a positive scan on his hold, i ordered once again to stop. Which once again he didn't complied. So i engaged. And destroyed the slaver vessel (CRP44-A74-11). Another 5000 free slaves now are being treated at Falklands. Here's the following comm log's (CRP44-A74-12).

The techs at Java also said that the Nyx will be battle ready tomorrow, which is another good news.
After a such a hard day, i will now get a shuttle back to Sulawesi and get some shut eye.

With regards,
Fl. Lt. Kaze Dagon.

Due to the recent successes in slave trade interdiction, the government is currently working on a legislative act guaranteeing the rights of liberated slaves and regulating their legal status within Colonial borders. Recent surveys indicated, that a percentage of the people freed from shipments wish to remain in the Taus for several reasons.

Angelos
Naia "Sunshine" Myers here,
Yesterday, we (Kaze, Orpheus and me) did a patrol through Tau 23, after a while we were asked for a meeting at Freeport 6 in Tau 29, so we headed there and met with Mr. Reisinger from the OSI. The Logs were forwarded to the fleet command, as he told me about a misbehaviour from some of our pilots.
Mr.Reisinger had to leave after the meeting, so we went back to Tau 23, where a Chrysanthemum and a researcher had a bigger argument, I decided to stay neutral in this argument, as the positions werent entirely clear. So I sent them both out into different Directions, the Researcher to Tau 29, the Chrysanthemum back to Kyushu.
And before I forget about it, we had a little training session at the Simulators at Sulawesi between all this.

Greetings, this is yesterday's patrol report. Not much happened, since i was stuck at Sarawak retrofitting my Pytho with two new engines and several new components i thought needed to uprade Tisiphone, my A.I.
But as soon as i went to T-23 to test the ship, one vessel class Storta with Outcast IFF and ID, with the transponder Vickter, was near the T-37, probably standing guard (CRP44-A87-01). I contacted through the CR comm channel the nugget Marcus Quinn and a Mal Cheshire from the ps| to stop the said vessel from fleeing. Not soon after it jumped to 37, we started hostilities, and Mal Cheshire's ship was destroyed as it came too close to the Storta (CRP44-A87-02). With only me and Blue-3, i still decided to continue with the engagement, and told the nugget not to risk to go close to the Storta. With this in mind me and him continued to dodge all incoming fire, and i managed to deploy several well placed SNAC rounds on the Storta's hull(CRP44-A87-03). A few minutes later this was the result (CRP44-A87-04).
As we came back to Java, an IMG Guard named Kuba.Zenon contacted me and delivered the appropriate security papers and the requisition to buy a Nyx at Sarawak. Me and Blue-3 escorted him there and after he bought the Nyx, he delivered a small but important contribution to the war effort (CRP44-A87-05).
Seeing that the Taus were free of hostile contacts i decided to contact the mining crew and prepare some niobium to make a run to New Berlin. Not later after, an IMG mining operation appeared too, and for the sake of safety they started to mine together.
The mining operation and the two consequent runs that the Nightmare and the IMG transport made went without a glitch and many of the profit was transfered to the C5 Bank to help the war effort (CRP44-A87-06).

With regards,
Fl. Lt. Kaze Dagon.

Today, I kept watch over the Tau-37 jumphole in 23, in order to catch and persecute smugglers.

The first, JN|Rencoy|N in a Junkers Train carrying Cardamine, gave me the slip by entering the area around Cali, whereupon I deemed it no longer strategically viable to pursue, and went back to the jumphole.

The second was a Pirate Train by the name of [BLS]Spirit.of.Ruiz, whom was also carrying Cardamine, also tried the same tactic, however this time I pursued, only to disengage due to overwhelming odds when an Outcast novice patrol showed up. Unfortunately, at the time I had forgotten the rules of engagement, in particular the rule governing re-engagement, and pursued Ruiz into 29, after which I lost him when he doubled-back to the 23 JH, only for me to mistakenly jump first, whereupon he continued in 29. I have since apologised to Ruiz for my transgression.

The third was a Pirate Transport whose name I have forgotten (Fl Lt. Kaze should have it in a mini-report I submitted to her), also with cardamine. After a pursuit which again led to Cali, I was successful in intercepting him and destroying the cardamine.

Following that, I was asked to escourt the Nightmare and a freelancer in a train to deliver Niobium ore to New Berlin, alongside another pilot named Jesse. The trip, for the most part, was mostly uneventful, with the occasional GC or Wilde patrol giving us hassle. We arrived at NB to sell the ore, where the train stayed behind. Nightmare, Jesse and I moved to Holman, picked up a load of MOX and set out for the Nagumo in Kyushu. Along the way, we were engaged by Blood Dragons and GCs, however for the most part we fled engagements due to the limited shelf-life of MOX. One encounter did require open engagement, but the battle was one-sided and quick.

Following the delivery, I returned to Tau-23, where I discovered Sara.Slythxe (name may be slightly off) smuggling Cardamine in a Firefly. They managed to evade my CDs though, and by the time Fl Lt. Kaze managed to intercept them, they had offhauled the Cardamine. At that time, I was exhausted, whereupon I returned to Java for rest.

After analysing report CRP44-A83, I would deduce that the Firefly Cardamine smuggler pirate was named Sara.Saxlythe, the same one mentioned in that report.

>> REPORT A84 ENDS

Nothing overly worrying to report today. One encounter with a Jousei Bomber pilot in 23, whom I chased along with Eric Fleete of the px, for not answering questions relating to the reason behind his presence in 23. He fled to the 31 gate site, where local BMM defences forced a withdrawal. The Jousei was allowed to escape via. Zoner influence.

Several ships were scanned in 37 today, none were found to be carrying Cardamine. Patrol was cut short when a MNS Tridente attacked without provocation, and despite no retaliatory efforts on my part, I was destroyed returning to Freeport 10. Pod was tractored in by FP10, whereupon I had a replacement ship moved to Java. It will take several hours to get the replacement space-worthy though.

>> REPORT A85 ENDS

I travelled to 37 to watch for smugglers. When I arrived, I noticed a pilot named feinan had strayed into 44. I pursued as soon as I could, but lost his signal in 42. I did notice, however, that he had been intercepted and destroyed.

I then stayed in 23 to scan those coming out of 37, whereupon I encountered Dutch and Stinger, who later engaged a Cartel by the name of Niko Bellic as I watched the JH.

After noticing a second intruder in 44, a Freelancer by the name of zocker with a Banshee with Kusari weapons and a Police tag, I intercepted them and with help of CR pilots Guerilla and Dutch, escourted them out of Tau-44, though not before they had docked at Sarawak. I would reccomend further inquiry as to whether or not anything was taken.

I then returned to watching the 37 JH in 23. A few traders came past, and some unnamed Outcast patrols attacked me, but otherwise nothing to report.

>> REPORT A86 ENDS

After launching at Sulawesi, I decided that, given my lack of support, to station myself outside the 23 jumphole in Tau-44, to ensure no-one trespassed. After a few minutes, I deemed that the risk of intrusion was minimal at best, and posted myself in Tau-37 in order to track traffic in and out of Alpha.

Following that, I noticed a trader in 31 that I had previously escourted to New Berlin, and believing that they would need my services again, I headed to 31. By the time I got there, they had disappeared, and I decided to dock at Harris, in order to update my ship's NeuralNet with the planetary info. Though the Bretonian BS and patrols in the area made it hard, I managed to reach the docking ring.

Whilst on Harris, I was contacted by Crimson, whom had told me that, by orders of Fl Lt. Kaze, I was required to assist in shipping Remnant ID papers to two new pilots, Crimson and Scarlet. They had told me of the situation regarding the Kansas Expansion effort, and the future of the 41st squadron, to which both Crimson and Scarlet had been assigned. After the delivery, which was slightly complicated by the presence of Cartel and SOB presence in Tau-23 (neither pilot had been given clearance by the Remnant house-patrols, which is why neither could purchase the required IDs).

Seeing as how the SOB and Cartel pilots had retreated by the time I had given the two pilots their IDs, I moved to Java in 23, whereupon I wrote this report.

The attached images are text-logs of the conversation between me, Crimson and Scarlet.

Greetings. As it was ordered, two E78-12 "Spatial" Explorers of the 53rd wing (=CR=Troy[53rd] and =CR=Sagittarion[53rd]) were deployed to study Kansas with the approval of the undergoing authority of Kansas, the NTF (-Refer to the Comm Excerpt: Colonial:NeoTerranFront Comms-).
As all the pertaining supplies were loaded, we departed from Tau-23 and we traveled with the escort of some 41st and 44th Nyxes and Pythos. Even although at the middle of the study they were called back to Tau-23, we continued our studies and we saw that no threat would come to us, as we, research personnel continued to study the Kansas system.
Now from the start, shall we?
Cpt. Richard Dean of the Sagittarion was the de facto leader of the survey team, and with the prompt assist and escort of ]NTF[-Suralin, ]NTF[-NTSV-Hinton and ]NTF[-Jake.Ryder (Commodore of the NTF), we proceeded to the analysis of almost all of the Kansas system, it's celestial bodies and study of the anomalies present.
At first, our main study object was the planet PB-001KNS, known as Wichita, to assess it's viability to populate alongside PB-004KNS. Later on, we were taken to the ice field present near 001KNS, called Arkansas. After it, we were taken to a very uncommon cloud, that the NTF named Smoky Hill. Several microscopic biological organisms are present there, and a sample was brought back for study. Word to the wise, the cloud is severely electrified with 4 seconds cycles of discharges. Then another two planetary bodies PB-002KNS and PB-003KNS were also studied, but no remarkable findings were made on the terms of raw materials. But proof was meanwhile discovered by Cpt. Dean that the moons of PB-003KNS (Olathe) were.. somewhat pushed to the gravity well of PB-002KNS (Topeka) and consequently ripped out and destroyed.. That later formed the black rings that now circles Topeka.
The rumoured Iridium cloud, located in the up far right side of the system, was off limit to us due to the NTF saying that they didn't wanted us to loose ourselves there. Looks like a dangerous place that needs further recon. There are also two anomalies of note in system. One that gives access to a system called Humboldt and another to Virginia, this one populated by Liberty Navy Guard.

Now for the detailed report on planetary bodies and clouds present at Kansas:

Planetary Body 001KNS - Wichita and Planetary Body 004KNS - Colby

Wichita and Colby

According to mine and Cpt. Dean's expert opinion, little terraforming is needed on Wichita in order to create settlements. The NTF has already one small fishing settlement present at the planet. The local temperatures variates from -10C to 72C (The highest temperature is located at the equator region of the planet) and salt water covers the planet in 92%. Only small to moderate islands are present there, no large continents. With the 17,572 km diameter it's even bigger than Planet Manhattan (12,753 km) or our original planet Earth on the Sol System (12,742 km). There is the problem present of the proximity of the Arkansas ice field were some asteroids do fall due to the gravity well of Topeka. One standard CBSE-MK4 (Civil Base Shield Emitter) is enough to deflect the incoming asteroids or a small 'destroy&clean up' field operation in the ice field will be enough. With that close proximity to a giant mass of iced water, no water problems will exist for the near 600 years in case of a full planetary settlement that can reach 2.8 billion persons (that is if we terraform the planet so that the water drop to the 65% coverage). Deuterium is present in the range of 0.016% of all naturally occurring hydrogen in the oceans of Wichita, as well several primitive lifeforms that populates it's oceans.
My opinion? It's more than viable, and this planet can be a heaven for all us Colonials. And with small terraform operations, we can put the whole population of Manhattan plus us Colonials and we would still have space for more.

Colby, as such is just the typical ice moon as many other planetary bodies through out Sirius. With a moderate diameter of 4890 km, it's size and mass does influence the magnetic field present at Wichita, but only in a small scale. Mostly composed of ice, nothing is much left to say.
Planetform operations are more than not viable at Colby.

Planetary Bodies 002KNS - Topeka and Planetary Body 003KNS - Olathe

Topeka
Olathe

Topeka is a large and heavy gas giant. Our probes weren't enough to discover much more than helium and hydrogen presence before the gravity well destroyed them. Further studies are needed, but that would mean at least six to twelve months of continuous study with an Argus class vessel modified for such studies and probing. The black ring around it it's much likely the remains of the moons of Olathe that were.. 'pushed' in the fault of better word, since the distance from Olathe to Topeka wouldn't have allowed such gravity pull and the posterior destruction of the same. The composition of said ring contains several pieces of iron-sulphites and some copper residue, that Cpt. Dean later identified in several asteroids hit sites on Olathe, proving this theory. But.. The distance and force of the gravity well of Topeka aren't enough for such.. pull. So exterior help occurred just as the Privas Planetary Cluster in Galia. Who knows.. May be this was a failed first draft of the Daam-K'Vosh. With a 27,992 km diameter, it is the largest planetary body in Kansas.

Olathe is mostly composed of ice and several metal materials and with the diameter of 10,803 km and a temperature ranging on the -124C to -7C, it's another not viable option for planetform. Several asteroid marks were found, probably from it's now non-existant moons. It now exists on the far orbit of Topeka, but i and Cpt. Dean think it might well was 'relocated' from other sector of Kansas.

Smoky Hill - A rare cloud, i might say. Several electronic failure while on it, as it is severely electrified with 4 seconds cycles of discharges and the presence of biological microscopic organisms. A sample is now present at Sulawesi for further study.

Overland Rock Field - A relative medium sized rock asteroid field, where the Virginia jump hole is located. Nothing special about the composition. Probably a failed planet of sorts.

Dodge Asteroid Field - Another relative medium sized rock asteroid field where Junction is located. Also, the Magellan jump hole is located there. The composition of the asteroid field is nothing much to discuss about.

Arkansas Ice Field - A quite large ice asteroid field, it contains deposits of iced water. If the terraforming of Wichita goes forward, it will be an excellent source of water as it is very close to Wichita.

Tuttle Creek Nebula - A nebula that supposedly contains Iridium fields. Our NTF escorts didn't allowed us to go inside as they say the electronic interference is too great, and several mining ships and adventurers were lost or 'claimed' by the cloud. I suggest further enquiries with a more 'sizeable' group of research vessels.

Now for the NeoTerranFront main objective, the Junction Base.

Junction Base - 01
Junction Base - 02
Junction Base - 03
Junction Base - 04

Junction Base, as you can see by the structural analysis made by my crew, presents several problematic areas. Although the NTF already made some repairs to the base itself, repressurized some of the modules, our ISE/CMI engineers will have their work cut out.
Nothing impossible, i can say for the looks of it, but still a lot of work. I also suggest the creation of two bio-domes for food as their numbers go around the 800 and they could use the extra income of selling the surplus. All the structural data was already sent to the ISE and CMI, so they can give a more accurate report of the work and suplies needed to rebuild the station.

Now, several pictures of the navigation map and of the system planetary bodies and fields.

As a departing message, i would like to thank the NTF and more specifically Commodore Jake Ryder for their invaluable support and escort through out this scout and research operation.

With regards,
Dr. Kaendra Lake.
