NOTE: For Urgent Attention of High Command

Subject: Zoner Summit in Baffin

Greetings to high command, please find below after action report on assignment from Blitz of the 15th Squadron.

Colonial Units Involved in Engagement:
  • Blitz (Nyx, 15th Sqrn) Operational
  • Racer (WO, Nyx) Vessel Lost
  • J. Snow (WO, Nyx) Operational
  • =VG=Triton (Zephyr Class) Operational

Under orders from Blitz fighters were requested to investigate reports of Galian units in the Leeds/Tau area. Racer and myself were available and were assigned to his flight.

We were also joined by the Zephyr class Triton. We started a standard patrol heading to Leeds via the Magellan system.

In Leeds we ran into some mollies who had not seen any galian units in the area. Blitz ordered all craft to the Tau 31 system. As the contacts now appeared to be in Tau 29.

Upon arriving at the freeport in tau 29 we were faced with a large flight of spacecraft some of whom appeared to originate in galia. However the galian named vessels were flying under Zoner IFF and appeared to be peaceful.

One of the vessels claimed to have the head councillor of the commonwealth aboard. I also find it important to mention that there was also a mixture of craft including outcast and GC vessels that appeared to be part of the flight.

After a discussion with the commonwealth vessels we turned to RTB via the Baffin system.

The Commonwealth flight followed us through moments later and soon got involved in a discussion with TAZ. Blitz ordered that we stay and make a record of the proceedings. This discussion was extremely long so I will relay the most vital information; gun camera evidence of the rest of the discussion is available if requested by command.

The Commonwealth flight had brought somewhere in the region of 3000 - 5000 marines as protection according to themselves. Due to their Gallic origins our flight was obviously concerned about what would occur if these marines docked with the station. Communication between the Commonwealth pilots such as these (message from Achille's.Skiff) also increased our concerns. It is clear the TAZ vessel Persephone also shared these concerns as we were requested to follow the commonwealth vessels and ensure they did not dock at the Pueblo Bunito station. If they attempted to dock we were authorized to open fire.

We were forced to open fire on one Commonwealth transport that attempted docking. We were unsuccessful in destroying the craft. However the situation was made worse when Racer engaged one of the GC escorts named Komachi Kurosawa without authorization from flight lead. Drawing us into a battle with enemy fighters. Attempts to resolve the situation peacefully failed and we withdrew after loosing Racer's nyx in combat. There was also loss of one spacecraft on the opposing side.

We then returned to Coronado where our vessels were checked for damage. Racer was successfully tractored in by the Triton.

Finally may I say even though I am fit for duty this was one hell of a welcome back party.

A miracle happened, men. We received ORDERS!

I mean, I received them, but nonetheless it's a miracle in and of itself, that a legit order came through. That is despite there being a pair of garrisons along the way as well as one unfathomably deep and dark space beneath my bunk...

Anyway, yours truly got promoted to legitimately do what he's been doing thus-far whether HQ liked it or not. So whatever of you still grumbling about me being in charge - deal with it because I'm now more entitled than ever.

So, just as some good news came to me, by the power invested in me by them, unto you, mangy lot I render more good news. Henceforth we will be INTERCEPTING any and all premium scrap shiments in the region, since obviously Malta is their primary, if not only recepient. Instead of just blowing them up however, we will be making sure that the intercepted merchants deliver the scrap to IMG installations. If they for some reason can't comply and drop the goods off where they can do most good - blast them and call up one of those salvage fleet tenders we have. Can't waste valuable scrap, can we? It's "premium" after all.

I imagine the troops in the 15th won't really be too willing to stop all those scrap shipments and redirect them to our industries on diplomatic and moral grounds, but we aren't quite restricted knowing the ultimate destination of those goods. Make the best of it and as always - there's no auditors in the trenches.

Hey all! It's me again. Long time no see again, I know! I'm transmitting this from Freistadt over colonial transponders so you may have some trouble locating the signal. I didn't want random parties picking up a signal going to the colonials from an IMG base. I dunno how things have been lately as I've been thoroughly out of it.
The first thing I'm doing is sending this message to you in hopes that I get some replies soon from some of the old pals. Hope the good fight is going well.

I will explain everything later when I get to a proper military base. For now, just know that I got into some trouble with the damned sniffers. Was on hush-hush mission to thwart some of their trade networks but apparently someone forgot the "hush-hush" part and I paid the price for it. As I said, details later. For now some of the colonials here have prepared a "welcome back!" marching sequence for me. Makes me feel all special *laughs*. Gods I hope that the Colonial Military has improved it's musical skills otherwise I'm in for an ear-grinding experience.

.:Sudden cheers erupt from the background as the Colonial marching band enters the comm station. Music is heard loudly through the comms:.

Full Report: I just started my patrol in my Nyx when I recognize a lot of LNS in NY. I decide to look if there are problems as I reached Planet NY I saw the LNS Soldiers engaging a OC Battleship I joined them and we took the Battleship "Razor.Bloodhad" out. The BS was supported by some Rogues which escaped after the BS falls. Also a Nomad Ship was spotted in this System but disappeared shortly after. 2 min after that the LNS Soldier "Delaware" reported about a OC Dreadnought in Colorado I flew directly to the JG. Surprisingly the Dreadnought came through that JumpGate and started to Focus on me he didn't started to shoot actually. The LNS Soldiers told me they would come help me while they are Stealth I started Talk to him a little bit of small talk ... after around 4 min 3 LNS Vessels appeared beside him we all started to shoot at him and we took him down. Me and the LNS Pilots decided to get back to our homes..

Full Report: I undocked from Barrier Gate station to the sight of an Outcast fighter craft. After a small parley of words, we engaged in a dogfight. Over the next few minutes, Moonbeam, Blitz, and Hax all showed up, before moving out to patrol the area. Blitz in particular engaged a Nomad fighter craft that happened upon Barrier Gate, successfully destroying it. After several more minutes of fighting, I eventually wore down the Outcast vessel and destroyed it. I then returned to Sabah Shipyard for repair and re-arm.

Greetings, Colonial Friends.

I was commanding the Thanatos Class Cruiser Prometheus in battle today and responded to the emergency call in Tau 23. We encountered two Outcast Battleships and engaged them incombat immediately.

More allied warships responded to the emergency call, and the two Outcast warships were destroyed almost perfectly simultaneously after their firepower was not sufficient any more to force our cruisers outside of Cerberus range.

The Fleet retreated to Tau 39 and Tau 37 to rearm and refuel. Only minor damage was inflicted on the Colonial Fleet, the Prometheus did not take any damage at all during the attacks.

I request that the Prometheus gets a Mortar instead of the 4th Cerberus turret. Especially for large targets it was useful to be able to target them at long distances, instead of always being forced to expose the ship to massive counterfire on each approach. During core-recharge phases or during weakened-shield phases, long range attacks would open another possibility of supporting friendly forces.

Commander M.J. Skinner

Startle reporting in from Freeport 4.

Fancy evening so far... I was called in by the Bretonia Armed Forces who were raiding Leeds and we ended up fighting the usual pair of Valors, accompanied by some of their fighter-craft and an IDF repair ship.

Along with Captain Korden Baerlorn on-board a Hydra gunship, I first managed to take out one of their fighters and that nuisance of a repair vessel. As soon as that was done, our gunboat took a defensive position while I went to help the BAF capitals against the enemy warships. Although not without casualties, we did down one of the Valors.

Since the engagement seemed over, we were hoping to pull back, but I was, surprisingly, halted by a Gaian ship who engaged us without notice. I'm not sure if these terrorists are working with the Gauls or not, but he kept me occupied long enough for GRN reinforcements to come and nearly blow me to pieces. Luckily, i only lost the ship.

Either way, we've done some real damage today!

Startle, signing off.

Full Report: I was in Tau-29 with my Nyx as I recognize a GRN Vessel in Tau-23 I decided to catch him and Blow him up ... (probably). As I got a Transmission of the "Firebird" fighter Spitfire, that the GRN Vessel jumped to Tau-37 he also got support by a GRP Bomber. I flew as fast as I can to reach Spitfire and directly engaged on the GRN Vessel after some mines we took him down together and refocused us on the Bomber which wasn't a big deal. After that Skirmish we found a Hogosha in a Corsair GB but In fact that the GB was equipped with Solaris we decided to go. Our day ended at FP 10. (sadly no Guncams of the GRN Vessel)
